Prices are usually not fixed when you're buying something from outside the brands like from carts, road sellers or even Sunday markets but yeah they are fixed when you're buying from malls or brands shops. That is why the rose bracelet seller started from 150 but then asked for 100 just so that you don't leave the product on price basis and also he gets a sale. Cool 😎 always nice to see the Lahore Fort and the Badshahi Mosque, been years since I last visited Pakistan /Lahore. BTW, outside the mosque, on one side is the tomb of the national poet Iqbal ; and on the other side (on a slightly elevated little platform) is rhe tomb of former Punjab Governor/Premier Sir Sikandar Hyat Khan, he was an uncle of my mum. He did a lot to restore and renovate the old Badshahi Mosque, back in the 1930s, when it was in a very bad way, even one of the minarets was almost falling. When he died, the citizens of Lahore voted to bury him near it, in recognition of his services.

Get yourselves some Ciprofloxacin tablets, they cost around 350 Rupees for a packet of 10. I bought 2 packets just in case. All good so far.

16:44 if someone ever comes too ask for money again just simply say “Maaf karo”. It means “Forgive us”. It’s a local way to deny giving money to gypsies. Unfortunately that a problem in Lahore and Karachi. Their are gypsies in tourist sites. However u won’t find them in Islamabad as it’s the capital and laws there are strict.

@@OTWD_yt if you filmed the guy you should post his video clip as a TH-cam short and the authorities will update his software, similar harassment happened with Luke Damant in Karachi and he recorded it and the authorities caught the guy and he made an official public apology & served a few nights in a police station.

Night time is the best time to explore. The cities look so beautiful when theyre illuminated. They look different dueing the day snd st night. At night time you should've gone to the haveki restaurant where you get the most beautiful view of the badshahi mosque all lit up

Very nice vlog. At 2:10 on the right side, there was a Bible Society, for Christian community of Pakistan, and may be a Christian Church nearby as well. And at 5:30, the Christmas decorations were actually wedding decorations, as Pakistani weddings are fabulous life time events and take many months of planning, and wedding event itself is stretched 3 to 4 days, different functions each day, mostly in the evening. 14:39, Ben looking cool in Pakistani version of Scottish Kilt. 😅at Badshahi Mosque. Late Queen Elizabeth visited the Badshahi Mosque several times, and wore similar head scarf for ladies, which looks very good on the lady of the vlog. We Pakistani living in UK or USA, also get that loose motion, run to the bathroom, emergency that Ben was talking about 17:00. The best remedy is IV Flagyl drip, you can get it at any clinic in Pakistan and you will feel better within hours. Nice vlog, wish you see more of your wonderful videos. Im a british pakistani originally from lahore and though everything is delicious you need to be very careful about the hygiene of what and where you eat.

A good tip, If you notice, the Pakistani Ladies, even if they are very liberal, particularly the pretty ones, they normally have that Police Lady, tough look, and stare, on their face, this is to avoid and deter that type of misbehavior from strangers, and it applies anywhere in the World. General people in Pakistan are very nice and friendly. There are bad apple everywhere, including in Western countries. The smile, some people can take advantage of, and the angry Stare and tone, can suddenly drive away, those idiotic men.

A quick safety tip, when some stranger tries to approach you, anywhere in the World, and tries to hold your hand, without your permission, as you mentioned, you can stare and rebuke, that person, with angry tone, and pull away your hand and step back. This is highly inappropriate in any culture. Sorry to hear that.

Nice couple..Welcome to Lahore..I love watching your videos. One thing I would say is that do not drink from the streets here in Pakistan as they use normal tap water which is not hygienic at all and could cause bad stomach, use water bottles instead.

This mosque is same as tajmahal because it is build by the same rulers, the mughals, and their architecture includes onion shaped domes. Thats the signature of mughal architechture.

Watching with great interest all your Pakistan Series Vlogs. Brilliant !!! Just an advice while visiting Pakistan. Be very selective while eating street food like samosas, sugar cane juice, pani puri, pappar etc. These foods are definitely very tasty but try to purchase from large shops having sizable turnover. Small shops / road side carts use open tap water which is not safe. We don't want you guys to get diarrhoea or other stomach related infections.

Badshahi Masjid (mosque) build by muslim mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir between the year 1671 to 1673 but Taj Mahal was build by Muslim mughal emperor Shah Jahan between the year 1631 to 1648 you will be amazed to know Shah Jahan was the father of Aurangzeb Alamgir the both father & son duo create magical wonders in architectural history of the world.
