The Friday is our Sabath Day, like Sunday is for Christians, and between 1pm to 3pm, is the Weekly Prayer, with Sermon, but rest of the day, people are back to work, and Malls and shopping places generally stay open till Midnight or even past that, due to hot summer days, in particular.

You guys should visit the salt mine in Jhelum city between Islamabad and lahore.
This is the second largest salt mine in the world, discovered by Alexander the Great.
Definitely would recommend.

I did a lot if shopping from this mall when I was in Lahore july/ aug 2023 .in Hunza I met a German lady she was wearing Khaddi kurta ,the other lady brought Ashes of her husband all the way from Germany to Hunz ,because her husband loved the mountains over there, I also fell in love with all the mountains from isb to Pak/ China border ....love from Niagara Falls Canada BTW I was born in Lahore and I just Loveeeeeee Lahore

yee the malls in Lahore are great, i use them as my walking tracks once a week, i feel it's better to walk there instead of some park with more people and stuff + you can also eat there haha don't tell them :-)
