Thinking back on this series... I kind of miss when Lara was criticising the game developers for certain gameplay and level design choices. Remember when she deadpanned about the developers who have somehow come to rule her existence adding in a "surprise" enemy around a corner where she had no way of predicting or preparing for them? Call it early installment weirdness, but that was part of the Self-Aware aspect that I enjoyed in the early days. When she was trying to work out the strange videogame logic that now defined her existence. Firing her guns and working out that she didn't need to reload. Still enjoying the show though, and I hope you manage to keep this up. Still wondering how well Last Revelation will work out when you get there, that one was a... it was an experience.
In fact she does critic the devs but more discreetly, there is an example in Temple of Xian ^^ Some argued she is only aware she is a video game character in Croft Manor 🤗
Thanks to this video, I got to spend almost 45 minutes eating beans to become as gaseous as Jupiter. True story. I've been playing the remasters of these games. They're my first time playing the classic Tomb Raider games. I'm up to the spider boss in TR3, so I'm glad the AI didn't spoil anything for me today. Looking forward to more videos.

No I didn't, I dislike Tiktok for the moment, my phone is also very old and can't handle it, it can't even open the last version of youtube apps (lol). The algorithm in 2024 is difficult, I'm currently losing subs because it doesn't show my new videos to new people, which is weird because those remaining are still liking (98%). (O.O)
I think there is a button, but it possible you first need to select one first in the inventory to indicate to the game the button should use this item, I don't have PS4 🤔

@@FoXMaSteR001 It's the other way for me with this video? Like, when I click the "CC" instead of the subtitles you normally do on these (or have been since toward the end of TR2), I just get the youtube-ai wonky ones that you get on youtube in general, instead of the ones you've been doing.

Why is she avoiding the crystals, does the AI think it is malicious atm? Did you suspend her taking meds because she is spamming them if you allow? She should speak less often I think. Also, her character falls into cheeky side a little bit too much right now, rather than something between sassy-feisty and slightly witty (couldn't find the word that would accurately desccribe her...). Some of her reflexes are superhuman especially when it comes to avoiding traps, probably because the AI can calculate it? But humans don't have such ability so a fail rate can perhaps be implemented? Or add randomness for a small portion of distances so it would feel as though she couldn't perceive accurately or it happened due to clumsiness. I guess you had made her to avoid shooting unless it is necessary. But I think the AI's reasoning to "necessary" is on different level which makes the encounters look unnatural. She even remarks this at some point "I didn't know shooting people out of no reason." She is foolhardy, maybe she needs to fear a little bit more (to be added in her speech too) and she also shoots only when non-supernatural hostiles are in too close range. I wonder if tools like AI Humanizer would make her speech smoother and natural. I never tried such tools before as I didn't need, but might come in beneficial for this one. As I often use GPT, I easily realize the distinction between AI speech and human speech. I hope you don't take these as complaints. I really enjoy and appreciate the work you have done. And I never liked watching gameplays before, until now. I hope you get as much support as possible because what you are doing is incredible.
Ty dude :p The crystals are restricted to avoid her to save the game and break everything, it's also a good thing to know where to go, she has a shortcut to use medipack, she uses them but in TR3 she doesn't make a sound so we don't notice ^^ The problem with the fail is in TR3 they immediatly kill her, here if she falls in the water it's game over, I keep them for the bloopers :D The guns are based of efficiency, the problem is the best way to kill a monkey is the shotgun, but she uses it from distance it won't kill them, so by default she waits them to be closer, it will be different when she'll get other weapons, the pistols works but aren't that accurate when her arms aren't fully straight. The voice AI had many recent update that are very annoying, she can't whisper anymore or sound scared for example, the team tried to fix the issue but it's still broken. I think I'll have to reduce the amount of comments because of it, the new AI is possibly more realistic but with less emotions, some sentences that should be strong are now soft and the problem is random :S

On the other hand, I understand that majority of viewers might want to be entertained over getting Lara more immensed with the environment and the plot. At least this is what I understood from the comments. I also saw that you had trouble with some of the platforms like Reddit and 9gag. I am sorry for this. Unless you find supporters who are old user and have some uploads, the content you share will be regarded as made by bot or simply spam by the community.

You crouch then press foward and jump, if it doesn't work hold action too, the "whoop" is the same when you press the sprint button ;)
