No way! I was also 8 in 2005. I became Star Wars Fan right after Ep 2 came out. I remember watching the OG clone wars on Cartoon Network anxiously waiting for Ep 3 to come out.
Oh it was, though tbh I think the excitement was more palpable for me leading up to Episode II. There was Star Wars EVERYWHERE. I was 11 at the time. Glad I got to relive the magic in 2015 leading up to TFA.
Me to but I wasn’t alive lol I was born in 2007 so I’m sad I soooo wanna watch it in theaters I think you can rent the theater tho so I might just do that with my friends and family

My parents grudgingly decided to bring me to my first theater experience by taking me to the cinema to watch revenge of the sith, as a way to introduce me to the franchise and it was pure magic, seeing so many fans United in enthusiasm in the theater lobby in summer 2005. It had captured my attention so fast and I’ve been a Star Wars fan ever since. The showing I was in had a few people with lightsaber toys, it was an experience I will never forget.
