Thanks for watching!! Big Edit : 6-8 pounds of honey makes 1 POUND of wax (Not 1 ounce like I said in the video😳) I would hate anyone to go repeating wrong info!! APOLOGIES! You may like this playlist th-cam.com/play/PLGt7KlJpDJdvFQmzi6-OxlKahjKNDN3VG.html
Good advice. Last year I started doing TH-cam Shorts just to capture my flow throughout the beekeeping season here in Pennsylvania. It'll be interesting to see the nectar flow comparison of 2023 vs 2024, and because I have a record of 2023, I hope to play it right and see honey production increase in 2024, if only slightly.
Lot of usefull informations that all we need . 🎉..i use to know exactly the day of blooming in my area ..but rhis lasts years its not what we can improvise ... infortunly its becomme harder to be a beekeepper
Exactly what I see as well! And that is why is is more important than ever to record blooms to help us ,maybe, see a pattern. Record the weather along with the bloom. Climate change is real 😔✌️
Ha I always watch your videos, I do use foundation, when I started bee keeping, I could only get waxed foundation, now I buy plastic double dipped and the bees love it. The waxed foundation when extracted is tore up pretty bad, the waxed will nice and not tore up the bees just refill it, if u do not mind, I would like to ask a question, if the bees draw your comb for honey how u extract it without just destroying all the comb. It's not funny u got stung but what I did find funny is that you call them a bitch just like I do now that the funny art. When I get stung when inspecting a hive, I say shit it never fails. Thanks, I enjoyed the video hope u have a blessed week.
I know you have been a long-time supporter! Thank you⚘️. My frames are wired, and when in the extractor, we do not spin too fast. Especially with new white comb that can get thrown out of frame. The darker it is, it can be stronger. But if you spin too fast, we do muscle power, the comb can get torn up. 😁💛💛💛

i think you are a little off on the honey for wax, 6-8 lbs of honey to make 1 POUND of wax, not 1 ounce! they would never finish any comb at that rate. still, drawn comb is gold.
Good Grief!! I do not know how I missed it😭 So much for my review process🫣 Thanks for the correction. I will put a note in description, not sure if I can in the video . Thanks ,my friend ✌️

This is the content beekeepers need from youtube!
It took me a couple years to figure out that I didn't need every new product on the market. Advice like this is what I can use. Peace to you Bro😂.
☮ Yeah, we get caught up in the wants instead of needs! We all do it ! PEACE!

Always love your videos! Full of useful information. Love it when beekeepers show the times they DO get stung.

I have noticed that hive alive winter fondant will cause early swarms with lots of room.
I wonder if that is a reaction to lemongrass, if it is in there. Are the swarms big?
We call it switching the boxes. Reversing doesn't make sense as we aren't going backwards. Just switching.
Always and forever called it reversing, top to bottom reversed bottom to top,! Regardless, thanks for watching! Every area has it's vocabulary 😃
In my opinion, slang and local lexicon may differ, but industry standards are standards are universal for a reason. @@buttsbeesllc4063
yes! so 'Reversing' is industry standard 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I holler a whole lot worse than that when I get stung in the face!
