Thank you so much! I love your approach to keeping bees! It is my first year and my bees are doing amazing, but hive inspections have been a nightmare. I hate smoking them probably more than they hate being smoked and it seems to just piss them off instead of calming them. I got a little portable fan because blowing on them helps get them to move out the way. I'm still experimenting with it (:

Why not use roach bait? I have good luck with them. A strong hive handles shb very well. If the colony doest. They need requeened.

Only problem you have if no resourses is that it takes alot of natural resourses . Florida maybe

Have you tried putting skewer sticks horizontal into your frames coated with wax or even vertical?

Very good video, first time I have seen u, what kind of bottom board do u use? And how do u extract the honey On frames like u showed? I c u don’t use starter strips y?

If we were closer i would build you a new press and send it. Don't believe those on YT who say it's easy but don't show them work and make at least 5 sheets in a row. I already wrote you a similar comment. If you ever... thin inox doesn't have to be all welded for a press. The old method can be used for connecting metal sheets. I don't know the English word. Soldering or something similar.. sodering. It's done with much lower temperature so the inox doesn't bend. And that is the most difficult and important thing.. the press must be all level, right measures and precise. It would make your work so much easier. I'm actually very impressed with what you do now. I don't think I could do it. I lost the patience for it. ☮

I noticed beautiful orange pollen starting to come into my hives. I also added deeps at the bottom of two of my hive, in hopes to build broad. The ladies originally used it for honey, but now the queen is laying in the bottom box’s.

This one was tough. The one i originally thought was the queen turned out to be her but since im doing this on my little phone i 2nd guessed and didnt think i was right. I rewound many times trying to figure out where she was only to find out she was where i thought she was lol

Yep, you can never have a complete plan. There's always something more. Before excluders in the good old days we used to spread frames to 7 or even 6 on some flows like black locust here. No chance for the queen to go in that box. I can still remember those fat white frames like it was yesterday. That's some beautiful land. I wish I have that humidity here. Not this yellow grass and seeds all over my socks and pants stinging me. And the heat index of an oven. I wish you a good honey harvest and more to come. Peace!

Ha great video I hope u do not have to move that is a pretty place. and moving bees is very hard, I have had to move from 2 of my out yards the folks died and the other is sick with cancer and they have to sell there house. I have moved 1 last week I am intending to move the other 1 next week. I have 2 weeks to get it moved the lady said. any way it is not fun. have a good week

I caught some worker bees at a canning supply store, attempting to buy a box of paraffin, but the clerk wouldn’t accept honey in exchange for the wax.

Hmmm could your customer have gotten four nukes for the price of two??? Just a thought that passed through my mind. Regardless, karma is a bitch so hopefully those hives don’t thrive. 🙏🙏

Did l see only one wire ? Maybe there were two. I was that guy who wrote that I'm using only one vertical stick sliced off a bamboo and put in the grooves for plastic foundation. Some time l put 2 sticks if the frame will end up for honey extraction in the first year
