Epic spinoff on TPIR the features a famous "falling contestant" moment. This episode aired July 27, 1987. A contestant from the first hour, Yvonne, is mentioned. See "Super Ball Blooper" video.
This is what made The Price is Right so good back then. They left everything intact and didn't do any editing. Nowadays they would've cut straight to the deciding spinoff.
I know Bob was just kidding about The Young and the Restless not getting on and besides, as many people know The Young and the Restless is upstairs of The Price is Right.
Bob is my grandmas cousin. I remember him and grandma having coffee Saturday mornings here in Missouri. I had no idea he was on tv. But in person he is exactly how you see him on TV. Just a very lovely man who went a little heavy on the Old Spice :)
@@garym444 We didn't have a tv growing up because of where we lived in Missouri there was no reception so I had no idea he was on TV. But on the show when he had the $100 bill in his pocket he always had a $5 bill and when I'd see him he'd tell me to reach into his pocket for "a little something." One easter he gave all of us kids a silver dollar inside one of those plastic easter eggs with a couple jellybeans. That was exciting!
Maybe you can find out why his family has sheltered him from the entire world. Even his best friend Bob Howrowitz said that the family ignores his phone calls and will not let him speak to anyone.
yesterday had the 3 strikes game which went on for like 10 minutes cause she could neither place the numbers in the right spots nor pull out 3 strikes. ended up being down to the last number and the last strike and she won
We like to announced that “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” will not be seen today, so in order we might bring you the rest of “The Price Is Right”.
Pretty cool. I have now watched a few of these TH-cam video clips where there were 3 consecutive ties between 2 contestants on the wheel. So, I take it that there has never been 4 consecutive ties by two contestants on the wheel on TPIR. EVER. (Or HAS THERE?......)
THis had to be about a seven minute segment in total, counting the fee plugs and the part edited out by the original poster. No way they'd squeeze something like this to modern TPIR with the commercial crunch these days.
You knew he was your grandmother's cousin and she never mentioned he was the host of TPIR? How strange, why would she keep it a secret? We're you not allowed to watch tv?

True. Bob and Roger were very much against editing and only did it a handful of times, usually if a prop malfunctioned.
I always loved it when Bob would joke about whether or not Young and Restless was gonna get on!

you are so lucky to have met him
So that makes you 1st cousin, twice removed, from Bob Barker.

Memories lol
I'm really glad that I got to experience all those years of wonderful TV.
This show was a really good part of my childhood.
"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS won't be seen at this time so we can present to you the full airing of THE PRICE IS RIGHT."

One of those "I Can't Even" moments in TPIR history.
Me: 3am. Time to sleep
TH-cam: old Price is Right spin-offs
Me: Ooooook!
Legend has it they are still in the spin off to this very day.
I thought Bob was gonna say "okay here's what we're gonna do. Rock, Paper, Scissors"
Edgar if you get 60 cents I'm gonna have you two investigated LOL go Bob
I don't know what have someone investigated means.
@@jordanjaynes390 it was a joke when Bob said it

its criminal how much Bob enjoyed his work.
Ha ha got it 😈
Imagine if this spinoff went on for forever, a la Michael Larson.
Oh yeah, #PressYourLuck
I miss Bob too. He's going to be 92 this year. He was not mean.
+Rob Roy You have no proof.
+Rob Roy And you have no proof of that, so quit spewing shit out of your mouth.
I loved the Yvonne jokes. lol
@@pendrew yeah, I'm glad he's no longer hosting

His mustache not big enough.
Notice when Jeff says " If she's good".....he immediatly starts playing pocket pool.
Back in 77' Ill never forget when 2 contestants kept landing on the dime! It must of landed on it 8 times! lol
LOL...I get tired just watching it. I miss those good ol' days of TPIR
Thanks for putting this on. I had this clip but my tape was to old and it does not come out anymore but I remember this . Yes, it was july 1987
We like to announced that “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” will not be seen today, so in order we might bring you the rest of “The Price Is Right”.
LOL 😂 Twilight Sparkle is the hottest one too ❤
My birth date is july 19 1987 and i still love this show
Nobody cares shut up
Wow. Quadruple spin-off
It's Old Skool Time
@zachhoran That's why I wrote "Aired" instead of "originally aired."
Retro Game Shows Do You Have The Full Episode?
That might be the first triple spin-off in TPIR history, though I'm not sure.
Rest in paradise, Bob.
"So Annie are you okay? You okay, you okay Annie?"
May 20, 1987
holy shit bob has brown hair
MrDicky55 yup, on October 15th 1987 was the first show with Gray Hair
You know what, I didnt even notice that until you mentioned it hahahaha
There were two people on the show who were serial killers, they were at the show in May of 84 but I can't remember when the show aired. 🤔
I have secondary embarrassment for Jeff.
Poor Bob needed a nap after that!
Bob Stop Dyeing His Hair In October Of 1987!
@pennman82 You can now watch the entire episode at the web address show in the bubble at the beginning of the clip!
Not anymore
I miss bob so much..
Bob was a class host..
I wish my job was about holding a microphone an hour per day lol.
3 of the 4 people on stage have passed away, and the young man is now an old man
Bob Barker, last I checked, is still with us.
How do you know this? Are you their son? No? okay thanks.
Zerogravity99 You can Google things up, and read papers. Until then, your "rejoinder" means zero, pal. Bye!
+Zerogravity99 Google, dude.
I don't think people got my joke, but okay.
He should’ve quoted Michael Jackson: Annie are you okay?
never laughrd so much at a poor wee old woman falling oh dear what a shame
Edgar if you get 60 cents I'm gonna disqualify both of you & give both showcases to Yvonne. LOL. :D
4:50
Small wonder that not long after this episode Bob's hair turned white!
I can't believe his hair color drastically changed that much in a few months
@@squeallymaniac Well it didn't. For years Bob had been dying his hair dark and he finally decided to stop doing so.
I think it was in 1987 bob can't stand 60 cents

I think these two ate the same amount of Wheaties don't you think?
The first wheelie
When Annie fell back, what if Jeff ran over and started curb stomping her?
i love my dog as much as i love you
That might hurt someone's feelings.
Jesus! That's crazy!
Rest of the show must have been REALLY rushed after this...
What is going on at 1:58? Did they cut out the part where a guy can spin? I would like to see some unaired footage of these guys can do spin-offs.
what a showman
What a comedy of errors this particular episode was. Must have been in the top 10 for most people in things that have gone wrong.
lol, this was awesome
4:50 If you get 60 cents I'm going to disqualify both of you and give both showcases to Yvonne.
What year was the 5 and 10¢ spaces green for $5000 and the $1.00 for $10000?
George Master 1979 for $10000 on dollar wheel then they changed it in 2008 to &25k.
Was this spinoff going from the ridiculous to the sublime.
Finally he beat it Jeff
Edgar, if you get sixty cents, I'm gonna have you two investigated.
3:37
Bob barker has an ageless voice
That's just a 1 in 8,000 probability of happening. A spin-off requiring 4 rounds.
0:52 is it just me or does he look like Jim Carrey?
you spin me right round baby...
the fabric of the universe consists mostly of hygrogen, helium and tpir
No wonder why Bob Barker went gray.
was barker drunk on this episode? lol

oh Anie, my goodness!!...lls
The way he says it too lol
Another Price Is Right history
THis is probably a rerun from earlier in the season, even if it would have aired on 7/27.
I ship Edgar and Annie
I ship Jeff + Bob + Yvonne!
Flamecalvin well I never shipped anybody
Hope pluto air this episode
jeff has great hair
How many spinoff rounds is the record?
WOW! I never noticed that red dot on the dollar space before! When was it removed?
That's the decimal point.
But why was it removed later on?
@@STO_1601 Probably just a different paint job or that is a different 1.00 face on the wheel later on.
Too funny
Want to inspect the wheel? Blame it on Pat Sajak and Vanna White
Just curious, what game did Edgar play?
@Smardaz Haha. So true.
OMG!! jeff looks like mark wahlberg
Annie are you okay? are you okay Annie?
what that first wheelie ever on TPIR?
