In today's times where every manufacturer is deleting features and increasing prices every year salute to MG to give a loaded base model like this. Pure gem❤. More makers need to learn a thing or two from them.
Well you can't add basic accessories like a reverse cam in the base model of astor without effecting warranty if you want a reverse cam they are forcing you to spend approximately 2 lakhs more for the next variant plug n play type connections are not provided
Actually you can add a reverse camera without voiding the warranty and you're not just getting a reverse camera for paying 2-2.5 lakh extra, you get 17 inch alloys wheels, roof rails and LED brake light, push button start and cruise control. Does it justify the price now?
@@westandforpeace777 i enquired at the showroom they replied that it will affect the warranty mg is not providing that option if it had a reverse cam it was a sweet deal @ 9.98 ex showroom
I bought MG astor in March. Have drive about 4400 kms.. My feedback is that even though brezza is a good car, here u are getting a much more value for money package considering its more than 4 meter cross over SUV and has got the enough brownie points to make it fall in love with you. I got MG Astor for 11 Lakhs overall and have not invested anything else on it except getting ceramic coating done. Its giving me an Average of 18 to 21 on highways and 12 to 15 kms on City drive. The AC is fantastic and the suspension is soft for city roads. The steering mode can be changed and large 10.1 inch screen is responsive. The big boot is a bonus and large viewing area gives the car an airy feel.. I have taken it to the hills and only at that time did the mileage tough 8 to 10. Its a recommended car. Its maintenance cost is also reasonable. Plus its got 5 years on road assistance free and 5 years unlimited warranty.
I own Astor too. I get 15-16kmpl on highways. 18-21 I haven’t got. Only if you don’t do any braking or change gears, then we get 18 but that’s not possible in highways.
@@BuvanAlmighty if I could just share the screenshots.. yes u r correct. But if u r maintaining a good speed and not overtaking or doing fast acceleration then it's achievable.. last week I got 23 Kmpl. I don't know how but I m still surprised 😀
If your running is low then go for Astor. Its claimed mileage is much less than it actually is. I have heard it hardly gives 11-12kmpl even on highways so go for it only if you have low running
I test drove Astor and it's engine is very very bad.. the throttle response is poor.. it's a loaded car with bad engine.. Suitable only for relaxed drivers.
I seen lot of reviews, they give different values of mileage,.. So on average I concluded the mileage must be 9/10 kmpl in city and on highway mileage is 14/15kmpl
@@unknwn_usr3077 yes.. u can say.. it's a little controlled drive u can expect. But the difference between other similar cars/ SUV's is not major as has been told everywhere. Brezza vxi is non hybrid, I guess moreover Astor being a higher segment car with a premium interior. Astor is the clear winner. Those, whose running is more than 1000 km monthly can consider others. I prefer Astor as my running is low.

MG Astor base model is full of features and after market or from showroom you get roof rail, rear parking sensor installed. But Astor is Under Power when it comes for long rides and In case taking to hills.
Your comparison videos are very good. It would be better if you consider below points on 5 years ownership. .. 1. The appreciation of money due to initial difference in 5 years 2. Perceived re-sale value after 5 years..
I think the ground clearance of MG Astor given here in Video is accurate which is 180mm. Most website says its 205mm which seems to be false just by looking at Astor
The perceived value of features will not directly indent your pocket but refueling more frequently will , People can addon features like armrest , features life soft touch are good to have but not essential . In short people will generally get used to the car's features but they will always curse when they see the actual running cost. And your running cost is skewed , Astor will not give over 8-9kmpl in city or hills where as Brezza will consistently return 13-14kmpl in city for non smart hybrid & 16-17 for a smarthybrid one. In highways run the difference is even much more. Also you didnt consider service network, Resale & spare parts cost which is also a major factor !!!!! TLDR Brezza is for people whose have decent running , Astor is for people whose running is very low
Jagdev Kalsi Sir, I need the comparison of Kia Carens Primium Optional variant vs Maruti Suzuki XL6 Zeta Variant. Because both are 6+ seaters and have similar price ranges.
Hi @V3Cars, Is there any article or video from V3cars comparing the SUV & Sedan? I'm a bit confused here about whether to take the Mahindra 3XO AX5 or the Skoda Slavia Classic. Can you please help me here.
dont go for skoda as Skoda is owned by Volkswagen and since VW is looking to leave India market, Skoda will also go away. So, better stick to our desi brand Mahindra xuv
Just go for Brezza eyes closed. It's not under featured anymore, And the peace of mind you get considering its a relatively safe car with Marutis after sales and fuel efficiency is unmatched.
It is very dissapointing to see wrong assessment by v3 cars. I followed the channel as I thought that give genuine assessment. As per the astor v brezza video the average claim is almost 15 per litre. I have an astor and it gives not more than 6 km per litre in city drive and highway may be 11. No way it gives 15 so seems this video is paid video to show astor value by giving wrong info
New Astor has a different transmission. Has improved a lot. My astor gives above 19 kmpl on highways with AC on and within 10 to 15 kmpl in mixed traffic.
Everyone knows features of astor sprint..... Question arises on milleage only.... But so far none of the u tuber is able to give clear view on its mileage in city / highway / and in comparison to seltos creta etc.... So that the buyer can take decision... It's better to bring video on that
I think us people in india will never realise the kind of design(that resembles with s class, maserati, volvo) mg has managed to bring to the table for a fraction of price, I agree the rear tail design could be better but hey slapping a bar tube light is not always an option when the front looks so luxurious. Biggest dimensions, best interior in the segment and after that introducing a luxury brand color british racing green in top model just makes it so tasteful but the only cars that seem to work in india are the ones that every other mf on every other street has Thar, Creta😂
