    I love the single light at each peak pointing straight down, then the sides are perfectly symmetrical. Very professional.

    Yo JB! You were not lying when you said you had one hell of a rescue! This came out fantastic!! You guys did amazing! For those watching this video and reading this comment, JB and his team are definitely worth the money. They know what they’re doing and they do it well.

      Yes sir. Thank you for taking time to view our video and commenting on your thoughts. It was a tough one. Takes time to install indeed but having to repair the holes, seal them and do touch ups on the paint is a whole another ball game. It just didn’t make senses to have the homeowner have multiple contractors to fix that when we are there already doing a rescue. My family and I appreciate the support. Glad we could help you out with your install and adding an additional 100ft to the backyard. Thank you 🙏

    I'm sure you do good work but the thing that gets me is the Ryobi drill....

    • @jbsdiytv
      @jbsdiytv  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a 18 gauge ryobi brad nailer. Each clip has two finishing nails. The clips we use are uv transparent clips that blend in with the soffit color. They don’t shatter on impact. It’s clean and reliable. 190 installs in Texas without issues. That’s all anyone wants is an install that stays and works with a warranty. It can’t be used on vinyl or metal soffits so those we use screws. Thanks for watching the video🙏

      Are you in Texas? Also, you are in control of your installers work. Have them present some photos or videos if they have any. Not just night time but of their install how it looks during the day. Ask questions and tell them if they provide extra clips or purchase extra clips for them. You do get what you paid for in most cases. Craftsmanship is a myth to some and that needs to stop since some pay high dollar for permanent light installs. Govee being one of the most DIY and inexpensive products out there compared to the high competition

      😂 actually that does. GOvee is know for that cone/scallop look to their lights. Same goes for Asahom and Enbrighten lights. If you want to installed them out further than 2” it will have a more umbrella look

    Great video. Have you tried hiding the wire with some trim or tape to make it blend in better?

    • @jbsdiytv
      @jbsdiytv  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching. I have informed each client that some areas will be exposed and I can hide them so then they tell me, what’s the most affordable price I can give them. Then I know I value my time and my work so I tell them and some just tell me, do the best you can to make it better than the average homeowner would do it and that’s what we do. Do an install 5x better but still make them happy.Your talking about raceway channel to cover up wires correct?

      lol. The more I travel Texas and see Govee lights installed and they are hanging, I just want to walk over and knock on their door😂. All kidding aside, It’s not a bad product, it just requires a little thinking. Regardless, cleaning the surface with alcohol to think that it will last 10years is carelessness on the installers part. Do it once, do it right. Our videos help bring awareness

They wont light even if i remove the extension and splice the lights directly back together. We have reset power, remove device and reinstalled, idk what to do.

    I’ve had a problem with my govee pro 200ft. I installed 3strings of lights, 2 4ft extensions together, 2strings of lights, then the converter because they said after the 5th string, then 1 12ft with a 4ft together, then one string of lights, then another 12 and 4ft together, then 7 strings of lights. The problem is that 4ft extension went bad, after the 6th string of lights. We moved the other 12ft and 4th from the other side and they worked but today I used all my lights and the 6th string and the rest after stop working again. What’s going on.?

    • @jbsdiytv
      @jbsdiytv  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can try two things. 1) is make sure you have all 12 segments(12 strands) place correctly in your app settings. 2)do a factory reset if 1 does work. That’s holding down the power for 6 seconds. Let me know what happens
      Were any strands spliced? If so, make sure you hit yes when ask if the device has been spliced. Look for red lights within your install. If you look how you explained you said 3+2+LED Module Driver+1+7. That’s 13 strands. You can’t have 13 installed in one power adapter and controller

    • @notbabyrodney7040
      @notbabyrodney7040 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jbsdiytv I’m sorry I meant 12 installed. And nothing was spliced. The 4ft extension that’s attached to the 12 ft after the 6th string is the one that went bad, we tested it. So that makes me think this time is the same again. And to confirm is
      3+(2)4ftextension+2+module driver+4ft extension/ 12ft extension +1+4ft extension/12ft extension+5.
      Would water mess them up where the 4ft and 12ft extension meet since those are on top of the shingles exposed.? Or something cause it to short out.?

    • @jbsdiytv
      @jbsdiytv  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ok no worries. When you say we tested it, did you use a multimeter or did you swap the other 4ft extension? This would be the best testing method because then it would be a process of elimination of finding out what doesn’t work after that bad 4ft extension. Looks like you did everything correctly by using the provided extensions within your install. What I would do is write to Govee within the app and describe what you have going on. You can write and add video/pic of your problem under device settings using the support button headphones at the top right corner. They have been good at responding with problems like this. Be detailed
