This was all on his own, no outside help. Now a days the wow resources are literally everywhere. Back in the days of this video, you were on your own.
it's still worth noting the guy was in rank 14 kit and vastly out-geared anyone in the game at the time, making those 1 v n, fights a lot less impressive, not saying he wasn't good, he clearly knows what he's doing and is pretty good at jousting (moving in and out of melee range when the swing timer is ready) but there wasn't much to warriors back then , very few abilitys needed to pvp with

he actually returned at level 70 for some chinese / korean dueling tournament and got his ass handed to him he was good at 60 but he also out geared a lot of people (rank 14 kit) and theres clips in his video where he's against none 60's and 60's in green kit....hardly a challenge)
that fight versus the first mage was just pure skill to do wat he did in that fight is ridiculously hard considering that warriors had a 30sec cd on intercept and charge couldnt be used in combat and the frost mage had insane cc
not to say they didn't have skill in solo situations of course, i mean just look at laintime. maydie and pat just never made videos to show it, they just made good crit vids (which are fun to watch, no doubt).
I think Maydie and Pat still skilled becouse its impossible to have healer everytime sothey have to solo...and they got the gear,also look pat new video(okay now thats an old video) he had 2000+rating in all bracket
Laintime's videos actually show some skill, Maydie/Pat just are crit videos. Not saying they don't have skill, but I enjoy Laintimes videos more because there not just crit vids.
Are you a ranked 1 warrior in all brackets in a korean server? Laintime made R1 in 3 brackets when he came back to game after 2 years without playing, and he did it in S5, when warriors were a completly trash compared to any other melee. I laugh when I see warriors from nowday, that have no idea what is to change to zerker stance just to pop zerker rage to avoid a fear comparing themselves with the best old school warrior that ever existed.
i think laintime had much more skill than "maydie" or "pat", because the hits/crits from laintime are not so high as maydie but he ownes everyone :>(bad english sry :p)

Honestly he may have, hell even I think if I went back in time and had a go (giving myself say a month to adjust to the various differences in the game) I'd probably cream him. But that doesn't mean shit. The only reason I'd beat him is because I'm already standing on his shoulders. The only reason I and most people are good today is because people like him back in the day showed US what being good meant, as @Xeikai said, all the resources we take for granted didn't exist back then, he made them
I think that LAINTIME was good warrior but i he's only Ganking Low lvl geared ppl like a paladin with ful lightforge set? when he have Full Highwarlord set :P but long time ago All skill was gear ^ ^ but he is realy good

When he came back I have no doubt he caught on to any new tactics and game mechanics and I very much believe he got rank one. However the him of 2006 would probably get trashed by most 1600+ players, just based on the fact that the meta has evolved so much, even considering having to adjust to the old game mechanics.

to Nefoshaman...people who grinded ranks pre-bc usually ran with groups. so actually yeah, they pretty much did have a healer the whole time.
Pat pretty much also had a whole AV raid healing him, not saying he was bad, but he had heals the whole time.
