I miss this time of pvp. Many people didn't like MoP as an expansion but I had the most fun in pvp during that time. Between my Destro Lock, DK, and HPally, so many memories of pure ownage on peeps, lol. Forgot about this video, thanks for everything that you've done over the many years! Cheers mate!

I really liked the cinematic feel that the intro gave to the montage, it really set up a great mood for a movie, I feel like it was spot on, the music was rising and the rumbling feel together with the images being displayed nice, I was hooked to watch the rest of the video.
The opening clip synchs well with the music in terms of pace and the action that is going on. I am also personally a big fan of this type of music in montages where it starts up kind of low and slow, but then explodes with the action, and I felt that is was a really good follow up to the intro. Purely as a feel, the song choice is subjective and can be discussed for a many days, but I liked it. The effects also complimented the action and the feel quite nicely, especially when then contrast, or is it the saturation, both or something else I am no expert, when they go down and the picture gets darker, it matches my gut feeling of the fight and it fits the music in my opinion. Plus the follow up that shows Power that again lines up nicely.
Then the curve dips a little during the warrior fight, where the fight seems standard after he is separated from the pact, the urgency and the feeling of power is gone. Now this is just the way gameplay goes and in a pvp montage you do not pick your fights, so all in all it is a nice clip but the start just feels better.
The cut to Gold mine is nice and again it synchs nicely with the music that greets me to a new battlefield with two opponents that is presented nicely at the start. I feel like the effects get a little bit out of hand here where it takes away from the “story” because it removes the vision of the enemy almost completely. The effects tie well into the music, and with a better camera position this might have worked well, but in the end it subtracts from the concurrency of the fight. The fact that they die at the same time is just an epic ending to the clip, allowing him to cap and prepare for the oncoming assault.
The next clip is not as good as the others, in the sense that nothing is really going on, other than the fact that he seems to be beating the same two guys from before, with the same stick that he did earlier, just more of the same with a little bit less excitement.
I appreciate the music coupled with the death scene that is shown, I like the idea, but it feels rushed, the feeling of hopelessness is properly conveyed to me, the build is missing as he dies instantly after the cut.
It could have been a great moment of him falling only to resurrect back to glory, seconds before it is too late, but it vanishes a bit in fact that everything is happening so sudden and quick that it never get a foothold in my mind.
Following this is a decent duel with a pally, I am not at the edge of my seat at this point, and I feel the awesome Cobrak will pull through. That is until he is facing multiple opponents out of nowhere. The anticipation and the impact of this sudden “s**t run run “ moment was not really felt, I like the focus on the low health by zooming in on the rogues target of him, but it could have been used to greater effect. Perhaps with a bigger image of his health, like taking the name plate in the top left corner and making it fade across the screen.
The fight through the mines felt hectic and looks like an awesome struggle, and the fact that he gets him at the end is just well-tasting cream on top of the frosting of a nice cake. Especially with the slow ending that sit around with fainting music and a nice colorful filter on top, saying this was a great way to die.
Cobrak delivers again with an insane start to the second song, with music, effects and the whole thing, really awesome and takes me right from the nice death of the last clip to a new and awesome fight in the next. The heavy combat and heavy music really carries us through a few minutes, where it just flows like a nice montage that just does its thing.
Back to AB we go, with some less exciting moments, and the often used “zoom when we disrupt our opponents thing midair” thing. Didn’t really feel that inspired, it is nice and a “lucky/skillful” moment but, I wish that something more could happen.
The next effect that we are exposed to, really felt good as with the other great moments, in this and all montages, the music, the effects and the gameplay lineup to form a feeling, this time it is overwhelming power, while we stare death straight in the eye, love it!
And then more of the same occurs as the bridge that takes us to the next part.
The last goodie goodness happen, when the music and the action kind of ties together and from there the montage slowly dies out with some nice moves and more fighting, but without the same kind of feel to it.
All in all I really enjoyed the good parts of the montage, they felt awesome, not nerd-chillingly awesome but, still awesome. The two music intros, where really the best moments for me, and they were by far what I liked the most about this video.
Some of the other parts died out and became run of the mill clips that felt like filler, at least to me, they were nice but comparatively they were dwarfed in the fluctuations and that is a shame.
Not a movie, but a really nice montage.
I am usually a very quiet subscriber, but I wanted to do something in return, the only thing I know how to, by writing a freaking long passage about the piece I just had the pleasure to enjoy, hope someone or something find it helpful and otherwise meh, I enjoyed the bloody video so I didn’t really lose much watching it a few times while writing this ^^
You know, I've been waiting the day when The Great Art of Living gets old. I keep expecting myself to get sick of it, but I never seem to. Maybe one day.

I didn't know the first song was your intro until it got to that part and in that moment I got goose bumps. You should have timed it so that when that part hits we'd also see some amazing play (some clutch fat Chaos Bolt or whatever). Maybe something to keep in mind for a future video, I sure will! :D

Just a quick question...on what realm Cob plays?
I'm thinking about rerolling an alliance alt so I could be killed by Cob and then brag about it! :D
I like you for a lot of reasons, Cob. And you're very very good. But I don't traditionally think of you as someone I go to in order to see top-of-the-line gameplay, you'll openly confess to not being too crazy about Arena and that you play for fun.
So I hope you had fun kicking as much ass you did there, because while I might have to go through your videos to confirm, I sincerely believe that this was some of the best gameplay we've gotten to see out of you =) Nothing different per se, but it was all done so smoothly, consistently, and _perfectly_ that it reflects some real clutch skills. I hope you take to the arena next expansion =)
I also really like that you did Damage Vault - Painlost as your opening song, which I think is the same song you play in all your intros. Really makes this feel like YOUR video montage, for some reason XD I can't really explain it, there's just a kind of serendipity to ending the expansion with a video using the song that we've seen on almost all your videos =)
I think this may be the first time you've played the full song for us on a video too.

Man Cob, that is an amazing video! Unfortunally MoP is gone.. I started playing World of Warcraft at the beginning of Mists of Pandaria, and I loved this game so hard! In my first Arena season i got to 1.8k what was an amazing milestone for me, in my second season to fucking 2.5k and this game was so fucking awesome.. And now, Warlords of Draenor is out, DMG changed, removed 50% of all skills from all classes, they changed everything! Everything that was fucking awesome! And now its shit! Im really thinking of stopping play WoW, I also can play tetris now! Its the same difficulty!

I liked the part around the mines in AB. Nice montage!! Really dislike WoD pvp so far but won't judge until the expansion is actually here and I get to play some real PVPVPPPVPVP with the new talents. Who knows maybe it'll be awesome? It just feels really slow paced and boring atm. I think they removed too many abilities that were actually useful... Why keep soothe over fucking hibernate!?? Skillcap lowered so much by just removing 1 ability. /Cry.
Anyways I really liked the part in the mines. :D RIP FEL FLAME you will be missed :|

About the ability removal in WoD, for DestroWarlocks at least, it's quality of life spells that have been removed. I think Fel Flame was actually fine =] Nerfed our ability to damage on the move and all that. But I do feel like removing Backlash procs and Curse of the Elements was uncalled for ^^ We can't even take a Grounding Totem or Spell Reflect now without spending a Conflag or Incinerate into it
Cobrak affliction warlocks cant get rid of tremor totems or healing stream totems without using their pet :/
