@@larrydunn4626 I feel that as well! But she had to have been going through something! She belted that out as if it was one of the last times she was ever going to sing that song! If you watch any other video of this song live she definitely does not belt this song out like that, even the recorded version isn’t this powerful, this deep, you could feel her pain!
@@colinreilley9179 I hear you. I understand from a different post in another vid that she won't be (or isn't already) any longer with Elevation. At the New Year's Eve taped celebration, at first I thought she wasn't there. After re-watching it, I see she was stage far left, and it is almost as if the cameraman (or editor) was under orders to avoid any closeups of her. She got about 1/2 second camera time (clearly accidental) the entire night. One thing I've learned not just about Elevation, but any ministry where the founder has a lot of hands-on involvement... there are no coincidences, and nothing happens without that founder's approval, down to camera angles, wardrobe, positioning on stage, song selection, approved solos, and the smallest of details.
@@larrydunn4626 don’t get me wrong I love elevation worship, and I’ve built a heavy connection to him thought their songs and Pastor Steve’s sermons, but I’ve noticed Chris has taken really the lead. He’s getting the screen time, he’s the lead on just about every song they have released recently. I thought it was weird, but I guess what ever happens happens.
@@colinreilley9179 Yeah I agree. Part of that is that he's literally paid as their worship pastor though, whereas some of the others are volunteers. I definitely think that Anna's decision to transition out of the ministry would have been made a few months ago, which is why you've slowly started seeing less and less of her so it isn't an abrupt cut off. Members of the staff probably knew ages ago and so her big performance in their Christmas production would have been a big send off.
