Lately I've been upset about not being able to feel closure when praying and praising our Father I was upset because i wanted to be able to be feel His presence. Well .. I just felt God in my heart right now I stood up and started crying. Crying it all out because I was happy to feel his presence in my heart . Because i was sad and angry about everything . Because i felt that he can see that I'm trying to be a better person and set a good example. Now All I wanna say is God is the love inside my heart . God I know you are in my heart . I thank you So much. You are my confidence . I love you so much . Thank you Bethel worship. Praising God with you has brought me the closure I've been needing . Amen I love you .

I thank God for the feelings. I love feelings but feelings can come and go, and even when they are not present in me I know and believe that God is in me because He has said it in His Word. And that Word endures forever, no matter what my feelings or thoughts are telling me :DD
Living by faith is way better than living by feelings and these are things that I'm growing in and sharing with you my friend, brother or sister :)

+zigler I feel you are a bit too vague with the "good" part .Are you talking about the "good" things that appear to be good that happen in High school/life/the world or you talking about true good stuff that God provides. For example God's love, which i think is good, does last for ever. Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. I'm not trying to take credit away from you helping but I just felt the need to clarify it.

When I lost my last hope after I lost my grandparents who were like they were waiting to just get to marriage , God You did again by showing me your faithfulness.

🙏Jesus was with me 1-8-2022 and the 13-1/2 days when I was alone in hospital and through a rare never seen before aortic aneurysm surgery 1-20-2022. I talk to and called out to Jesus from the first day into the operating room. Jesus has given me calm and peace that is beautiful beyond words. It was found I have an egg sized mass in my chest by my heart that needs removed in 3-6 months. Jesus will either remove the mass, or will give wisdom and direction to my thoracic surgeon.🙏

Fair point. I guess the lyrics are sort of ‘romantic’. Certainly sincere but maybe they somewhat compromise the truth of the sovereignty of God, making what he does seem a bit circumstantial. It’s good to reflect on who God is before ‘what God does’. I’m sure, though, many have been blessed/reassured/inspired by this song. I always find it helps to see how ‘ragged’ some of the Psalms might seem without understanding the circumstances of the writer and maybe knowing that for this song might be helpful.
I understand and I hesitated to sing "yet" at first as well. But now I confidently sing because the word "yet" to me it represents His work since the beginning of time and it is actually reassuring that we all are in His hand and the hope that has "yet" to come, YES AND AMEN! :)
I know, it used to confuse me too. But apparently the man who wrote this song was a soldier and whenever he came back from war, his fellow mates always said, "there'll come a time when your God will fail you", and his response was "He's not failed me yet"

I think a lot of people misunderstand this phrase. Saying something has "never failed me yet" is a pretty common figure of speech, meaning something is extremely reliable. A lot of people seem to get hung up on that lyric, thinking it's saying God might eventually fail them. It's really not, or I'm sure most of us wouldn't be ok with singing the song at all =P

So you may have new ears to recognize his voice & a new mouth to stop gossiping, cursing, talking dirty or sexual. Become obediant in His word. Begin to build a relationship with Him, based on trust. Do what I do: I talk to Him every minute about my life, struggles, relationships, school, my addictions, my worries and more. Why? Because He is my father, mother, best friend and Jesus is my big brother. They will look out for me and will straighten my path.
