I have been running the driver, extreme external speaker for about three years. It’s the best speaker I’ve ever run hands-down for the money you can’t beat it. It’s got a deeper sound and it’s crystal clear.
That’s a good looking mic and I thought it sounded good on all the radios as long as the mic gain was turned up. When you had it down around 12:00 there was not enough modulation. I think it really sounded good on the Uniden pc68. I enjoy these type of videos thanks for posting!
That anytone 5555 plus is just a great sounding radio, I may have to get one those, not a big fan of the menu driven radios, the mic is a nice quality, I like the sound of the superstar 507 a bit better, a bit more natural sounding IMO
That is a different test, usually mics are compared to each other on the same radio. I like hearing the mic on multiple radios. My 2 cents, the first radio sounded the best. Quad 5 N2+
Hey Rooster, using this mic on the first radio, the Anytone 5555 plus, does the pin with the voltage on it that’s coming out of the radio not need to be disconnected?
Dull Muddy Weak with donut in...would be more open if you take the donut out of the mic...speaker is an awesome speaker...the mic is detracting from the speaker...but also shows the quality of sound reproduction in the speaker as it shows the dull Muddy Weak quality sound of the mic again with the donut in the mic...
I thought it sounded best on the 68ltx and the 5555plus. To me, muddy isn't what comes to mind, but there's a lack of punch and presence, but again it is a noise cancelling mic, so I believe my next test will be comparing it side by side against other noise cancelling mics
@@Rooster_Radio Rooster this is Flying Squirrel hope your well...there is inside the mic a donut if you remove it it will open up the mic response..was not throwing off on your test or you...thought it was a good and fair test..I have one of those speakers one of the best I have ever had probably the best...any way just wanted to let you know I was trying to be honest in my comment and not a naysayer....trying to be helpful...and give an honest report from this end ...hope it helps....

Yes sir! Next test I do will probably be comparing the popular noise canceling mics against each other on 2-3 different radios.
Glad you enjoyed it

Never disconnected any pins on a 5555 plus and I've yet to have an issue
