Perhaps if we'd all met up that day, maybe we could have pieced it together. As it is, it became an event that marked me for life, and was my first real experience with mortality and death. Six months later my best friends sister got murdered also. They never caught the bastard, and it still remains an unsolved mystery. They are both buried in the same row. This song always reminds me of them.

I love this performance so much. If I was there and heard this song live, I'd probably cry even though people were jumping to it. It's a very sensitive song and I can see it being s crutch for me when I need it. Watching videos like this just makes the 90s/early 2000s era look so beautiful. I truly don't know what those times were like but I wish I was a teenager when Blink 182 was at their peak. I'm going to be a senior in high school and I am surrounded by technology and gossip and awful music. Not many people in my school like Blink 182. Or at least I don't think. And I just always hate being on my phone sometimes so I only go on it at night as of right now. I think technology is great and it's involved with my future career but I also miss days like this even though I never actually experienced them. Unfortunately the cord to the electric fire that my mother put into the bath she was sitting in was plugged in and in 1967 there were no cut outs as there is today, as a 7 year old I was traumatised for many many years, English NHS does not have the resources to help, and it wasn't untill I was nearly 40 could I afford the help I needed, I came within 5 minutes of passing through the gate of no return, the memories of what my mothers suicide did to me made me realise what it would do to my grandsons.
