He reminds me of what my guru Ram Dass describes. The way to help someone become enlightened is not to force them or pull them up, but to be this centered energy for them... A space for them to come up or out into. Not being pulled into the melodrama of their life. Just kind of a witness and a guiding force not being affected.
It's beautiful to see in real life.

My dad bought me Enema of the State in 5th grade to piss off my very religious mom after they separated. I’m 34 now and my dad is no longer here, but Blink has been with me through it all and is a huge part of the foundation of who I am. From an angry teen listening to TOYPAJ on my discman on the school bus, to missing seeing them the first time because of Travis dropping out of a show in Upstate NY due to DJ AM’s death after their plane crash, to “Always” playing a at my wedding, to “Dammit” played in the OR during my c section for my little girl. I cried tears of gratitude with 20,000 former emo kids in Dallas at their show this summer.

Outstanding interview! I love each one of these guys. Through thick and thin and old and new, Blink 182 will always be at the center of my heart!

Can we acknowledge Zane's excellent performance in conducting this interview! He struck a perfect balance between curiosity and straightforwardness

The sound and camera crew absolutely killed it in this!!
The least you guys can do is put them in the credits at the end of the video! :)

This was the perfect interview. Zane literally asked every question I wanted to know, at the right time. And to hear them talk about Jerry Finn so much and how he helped shape them to this point, that was a nice full circle moment. RIP Jerry 🙏🙌🔊🎛️🎚️

I find him so bloody irritating. His question delivery is so prepared...YET they were very good questions. They brought out some awesome anecdotes that were interesting buuuut this did all feel a little curated. If they aren't doing much promo then they have to nail this, so its totally understandable, I dunno I think I would have liked some organic curve balls?

It had that Architectural Digest or Vogue "vlog" vibe.

Angels & Airwaves was and still is a top 5 band for me. Every album killed it.

I’ve hung with these guys several times in my life! They are good people and Travis and I have a mutual friend that past. Ed Santos. I’ve never seen these guys so solid and in a mind set like this! Makes me really happy to watch them progress and rise above all the bs! Proud of Blink. Stoked for the album. You guys finally got outta bed!

Love Blink 182. One of the best bands from my childhood if not the best. Totally had the enema of the state album growing up.

I am so glad they found their form again. We had to wait quite some time for this. So now, at 42, I get to enjoy new music that has that same appeal any effect as it did when I way 19. Thanks, Blink. I'm happy for you.

It's unbelievable how a band like this that started our as kind of a joke band, is truly the most important music and and comeback of all time. I'm so glad I saw them on MTV in 5th grade and never stopped loving them! Best band in the world!
