This is probably the most beautiful band interviews I have ever watched. I relate so deeply to Tom when he talks about being "moved by emotion" and being on a constant path of self discovery. Felt the same for years. Listening to Mark talking abouts his experience so candidly too is so deep and touching. All leading to the point they find themselves at now, which seems really genuinely positive. Travis, not only one of the top ten technical drummers on record ever, but he says 5 words while everyone else talks their heads off and is just all about the music. Its insane how he became the total center of this band. Im not kidding you, if there is the equivalent of a Nobel Prize for rock n roll, here's my nomination.
As a lifelong diehard blink fan, this is the interview that I (and all blink fans) have dreamt of but never thought would actually happen. The same thing goes for the new album. I’ve grown up with you guys and to see you all in such a great place and hearing the music that you’re making these days is the best feeling. blink-182 life. For life. 🐰❤️
Blink-182 holds a special place in my heart. They were my very first concert at The Forum in 1999 when I was in the 6th grade. I practically grew up with their music, and seeing them perform live again this past June in LA was nothing short of magical. It's amazing how their music can make my 35-year-old self feel like a kid again. This interview and seeing them hanging out and joking around together is giving me goosebumps. It's incredible to witness the bond they share. I'll continue to love this band forever, and I'm so grateful they're making music again. Long live Blink-182!
Love these guys so much. What a respectful interviewer, love all Blink albums, their newest one is gold for old school Blink fans, they have matured a lot. I love it all
Can absolutely confirm that they are performing their classic songs with a whole new level of ferocity. They slayed every single one when they were in Denver.
Love this interview. Feel like Zane nailed the questions as a genuine Blink fan. Makes my heart happy to see Mark, Tom and Travis in a great place again!
Blink has been the soundtrack to my life. I’m a beaten up 49 year old pop punk kid, that will be listening to this band till I’m put in the ground. Thank you to Mark, Tom & Travis for giving me something that always makes me smile in its familiarity. ❤❤
This band changed my life and it has been there for me through the hardest times in my life. Love that blink is back, the brotherhood is back. blink-182 life, for life.
I was in a nasty car wreck in 2018 and lost my gf and dog. A month out of my last amateur mma fight before going pro and ended up with a broken body and spine. IMMEDIATELY after coming to it I started connecting with old friends I had falling outs or disconnected with. As a lifelong Blink fan this album already resonates so much! The art of redemption! And true value of life. So stoked guys! So happy for you and thankful
So sorry for your losses man and hope you're doing the best you can now. I'm going through a lot as well and can relate to a certain extent. You're not alone!

My god, Mark Hoppus is an incredibly bright spirit, I love to listen to him and watch him smile in anticipation for the punchline of Tom’s joke. I loved listening to Tom laugh and take everything in jest. Travis is so thoughtful and seems to absorb every word in the room. I loved this interview; no one could be more articulate than Zane Lowe and I am happy for the hour and I half we received with these four!!
And you would never guess that Travis is the most grounded and calm spirit, at times almost apathetic staring at a point on the wall and just soaking in the moment. Beautiful mind there
This is absolutely the PERFECT interview. It answers all the questions that everyone has been asking about for years. Goes into breakups, Jerry Finns style and if they're aware that it made blink, What Mark thinks of Boxcar. It goes into EVERYTHING.
Most of us did grow up with them. Dude Ranch was my first blink album. I was 14. I'm now 40 and still experiencing blink. Still have them in my life. I can not express to people how much this band got me through shit in my life. Now as an over the hill adult, they are still getting me through shit. I will always love this band.

This is such a this is so therapeutic. Seeing the 3 of them together at this level again has helped me heal relationships with past friends that I had a falling out with. These 3 guys don’t realize the impact their music has made on so many people. Always respect and appreciate the contributions from Matt and Scott of course but at the core of it these 3 ARE Blink-182. Not to sound too mushy but we appreciate you.🤘
This was the perfect interview. Zane literally asked every question I wanted to know, at the right time. And to hear them talk about Jerry Finn so much and how he helped shape them to this point, that was a nice full circle moment. RIP Jerry 🙏🙌🔊🎛️🎚️
I find him so bloody irritating. His question delivery is so prepared...YET they were very good questions. They brought out some awesome anecdotes that were interesting buuuut this did all feel a little curated. If they aren't doing much promo then they have to nail this, so its totally understandable, I dunno I think I would have liked some organic curve balls?
I can’t believe we’re gonna have a new album in just two days, it’s felt like forever since we had the classic blink. I already know I’m gonna cry like a baby.
What mark was saying about how he cherishes people's smile on their faces is so true. I felt that with absolute honesty when they were playing the show and how he went around the stage putting hand on his heart looking around to see everyone.
Every single time these guys have dropped music it seems to be exactly where I am in life Can't explain how much these guys mean to me and how happy it makes me seeing them together, healed and happy! Long live blink!
100%. I was just thinking that. I grew up WITH them. I’m only a couple years younger than them and it seems like as they released music it was perfect for that moment in my life
Blink 182 are playing 15 sold out arena concerts in Australia in 2024 and could have sold out more. It's a great feat for any band to tour the world successfully and these guys deserve it after a long career being together and apart, physically and mentally.
Well there is "the urethra chronicles" part one and two which a official documentaries the first one came out in 1999 and part 2 came out in 2002, those are the only 2 offialy released by the band that I'm aware of... my guess/hope is that after this tour, we get part 3🤷
So good that these guys gave so much love to Jerry Finn. That guy was literally the fourth member of the band and brought the best from these guys. He would be so proud of his boys.
Amazing. What a calm, collected interview for all the fans to sit in the room and listen with the band. To answer so many deep questions from over the years, and to let the answers patiently unfold made for a great interview. As a lifelong blink fan who’s drawn so much inspiration from these guys (Matt and Scott too), this comeback means so much. And what a narrative it has been. To live through the hard times and come out together with a plan to make it happen more than just one more time…it’s amazing for everyone involved. 🙏
The fact that Tom sings "Bored To Death" live says SO much about how they've put aside any old BS. You gotta love these guys, the new album is GREAT, and I hope they continue to be happy.
Love these 3 guys. Saw them Saturday in Birmingham. Stood front row side of stage. Mark came and stood next to me and my daughter to sing "Adams song" our family anthem. Last time I saw them was with my son Cain. At 26 he was diagnosed with a grade 4 terminal brain tumour. Mark looked straight at me and sang "tell my mum it wasn't her fault" broke me. The emotion of the new album is intense and personal for me and my girl. I love them even more now 💞 Thank you Mark, Tom and Travis for your music and your energy and utter brilliance. Thank you so much for the comeback. Can't tell you what it means to me and my daughter
I've watched a LOT of Tom interviews. He's always comfortable in his skin. In this one he was NERVOUS and just looking at his posture at the beginning, it was tough. By half way through it's like, yeah they're all together again (literally in the shot, and just Tom's responses). Maybe it was all planned but IDK it makes me happy.
The thing with Tom and Blink is that the reason Tom left the band twice was because it was clear stress. I feel like so much was thrown at him in a way that he was completely overwhelmed by it and especially in the mid 10s after neighborhoods. That almost sent him over the edge to quit a 2nd time. I hope Mark and Travis understand that this time around and make sure Tom isnt stressed again. Because thats the last thing Tom needs now. More stress. Hes getting older and that kind of pressure isnt good when youre at that age
After being a fan for over 20 years, I finally got to see Blink live for the first time this year. They crushed it!! When they came on stage, I just started smiling uncontrollably -- I felt like a teenager again.
I love Travis so much. I would love a direct interview with him. You can tell he’s an incredible listener and incredibly intentional with his energy. He’s got some insane wisdom.
It's unbelievable how a band like this that started our as kind of a joke band, is truly the most important music and and comeback of all time. I'm so glad I saw them on MTV in 5th grade and never stopped loving them! Best band in the world!
No matter what, reunion with Tom is the best thing happened for Blink and us as fans! One more time is really all of us! We can never wait to see Blink playing music again! ❤

They have given us so much music over the years and they still seem to have the magic most bands lose after their first albums. Wish these guys nothing but the best.
This whole thing was such a joy. I am so grateful they connected Travis’ production back to Jerry Finn and did such a lengthy segment on what Jerry meant to all three of them.

Absolutely blew me away, thank you Zane for this beautiful interview and thank you Mark, Tom and Travis for opening up and being so honest. As a 37 year old who grew up with Blink, this is by far one of the greatest comebacks in the history of music (at least to me) I know so many people grew up with them and then had their hearts broken when they split.....but I think for a lot of people my age, we're in the perspective and realization that life is indeed too fucking short. Toms heart is 100% in it this time! Hopefully he’s here to stay this time! It’s amazing to see them all
In such a great place together!
Until next time....
I think he's actually grown up. I think he realized his ego destroyed a lot of success and happiness he could have achieved. He understands these 2 other guys are the reason he is where he is today and is humble.
Too bad the new songs are all subpar so far

Tom speaks so openly and honestly - mad respect as a whole band always classy
This is probably the most beautiful band interviews I have ever watched.
I relate so deeply to Tom when he talks about being "moved by emotion" and being on a constant path of self discovery. Felt the same for years.
Listening to Mark talking abouts his experience so candidly too is so deep and touching.
All leading to the point they find themselves at now, which seems really genuinely positive.
It really puts things in perspective, and gives me hope for my own friendship issues and over all hardships working out eventually.
i LOVE old mature blink. you can see and hear the life experience on their faces and in their voices respectively. this makes me so stoked for them. they’re all obviously in a good place in their lives and as a band
It also is weird that we all blinked and it’s like 25 years later.
For real same here !!! Real life topic
@@justinTime077for real .. feels like it was yesterday sometimes
Travis is the definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover” what a guy his optimism and kindness is a dream quality every person should have in their life.
Yep you don't expect him to be as soft spoken. It's great
Sorry can’t respect anyone that’s fake hungry and stupid enough to be with a kardashian…as a drummer he’s amazing as a person he seems like a fn moron in many different aspects
Fame hungry
@@floridapunkarchivist Lol what? Who is?
@@kathleenclark815 Travis who else?
For life. 🐰❤️
It was cool to hear all of it directly from them and not some opinion of a TH-camr or journalist.
@@spfadden082711 Exactly! Loved every second of it.
Man, what an interview! I grew up with these guys, and as a 34 year old grown man, I still get emotional. So excited for this return
This band made my childhood great, and now watching them back together again brought a massive smile to my face!
Funny that Travis looks like a gangsta with rough personality, but when he talks he is the sweetest guy ever.
Hes very soft spoken ☺️☺️☺️
The Kardashian family does not deserve Travis
He is very happy with them, he found a new love and thanks to Kourtney he flight again @@jonbourgoin182
It’s so cringe and lame
I remember Joe Rogan tried to get him to talk shit about Tom and him leaving the band for "alien hunting". NOT A BAD WORD out of Travis' mouth.
I saw them in Manchester, can't agree enough it was hard af
Yep! I was at the San Diego show in June!
100%
I'm hoping that doesn't change for the next batch of shows they just added. I missed the first round because I thought it was too expensive.
@@Womb2DaTombMe too!! What a night!! 🤘
You said it ALL there bro ... same👌
This band changed my life and it has been there for me through the hardest times in my life.
Wild story dude, you made it far! 🙏🏼
So sorry for your losses man and hope you're doing the best you can now. I'm going through a lot as well and can relate to a certain extent.
You're not alone!
I heard One More Time for the first time while recovering in the hospital. I love how music can reach into your soul and bring physical healing and make you want to call everyone you know just to hear their voice. Thanks so much fellas!
B - for brotherhood
L - for love
I - for immortality
N - for nostalgic
K - for kings
1 - because this is who you are, no.1
8 - because it represent infinity
2 - will never complete the 3 of you guys!
Stay together for us so we can grow with you! Nothing but the best and hats off to Zane who guided this for us and represented us in the best way as blink fans!
Totally agree with everything you said! These guys are so deep and genuine!
And you would never guess that Travis is the most grounded and calm spirit, at times almost apathetic staring at a point on the wall and just soaking in the moment. Beautiful mind there
This is pure therapy. For blink-182 and all of us who grew up with them.
This is absolutely the PERFECT interview. It answers all the questions that everyone has been asking about for years. Goes into breakups, Jerry Finns style and if they're aware that it made blink, What Mark thinks of Boxcar. It goes into EVERYTHING.
I agree. It was nice to hear from them directly instead of some rumor or made up story
Except where is Scott and would you guys ever plan with Scott again - 2 drummers - lol
Oh, thank you yeah I watched it too.
I find it hard to explain or even understand for myself how much this band means to me. They make you feel like you grew up with them.
@@Ayy_MinusCheshire Cat was an amazing album!!! This was amazing old school ❤
@@Ayy_Minusagreed. I started listening to them when I was 7. They helped me greatly through my parents awful divorce when it was so unheard of back in the day. I’m 33 now and still love them with all my heart.
Exactly. There are no words. It’s the way it is. ❤
agreed. they define my youth
I remember when Mark was sick I used to watch him play with Legos on twitch. So happy he pulled thru and these 3 are making music again.
He used to play a lot of songs on his bass for us as well! ❤ he’s my ultimate inspiration and I have a bass and I’m just scared to play but I hope someday I will
This is such a this is so therapeutic. Not to sound too mushy but we appreciate you.🤘
I’m so glad these guys are around. This whole interview made me smile, something about their chemistry feels like home in a way.
This is absolutely the BEST Blink-182 we and they have ever seen. It's heard on the album and viscerally felt in this interview. Rock on!
It had that Architectural Digest or Vogue "vlog" vibe.
I can’t believe we’re gonna have a new album in just two days, it’s felt like forever since we had the classic blink. I already know I’m gonna cry like a baby.
Finally saw them live this year. And holy fuck, it really was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. It really was like a party.
What mark was saying about how he cherishes people's smile on their faces is so true. I felt that with absolute honesty when they were playing the show and how he went around the stage putting hand on his heart looking around to see everyone.
Every single time these guys have dropped music it seems to be exactly where I am in life
Can't explain how much these guys mean to me and how happy it makes me seeing them together, healed and happy!
Long live blink!
your soul is connected to them
Can we acknowledge Zane's excellent performance in conducting this interview! He struck a perfect balance between curiosity and straightforwardness
there needs to be a biopic about them someday. it would need to be hilarious and fun but also serious just like their catalogue of songs.
It would be a real nc-17 film 😂
There was a documentary that was being filmed in 2009-2012 it was called the “Blinkumentary”! Think it got scrapped though.
Well there is "the urethra chronicles" part one and two which a official documentaries the first one came out in 1999 and part 2 came out in 2002, those are the only 2 offialy released by the band that I'm aware of... my guess/hope is that after this tour, we get part 3🤷
yeah for sure with the docs but a screenplay/film someday would be rad
like when they’re old old old in 15-20 years or something
So good that these guys gave so much love to Jerry Finn. That guy was literally the fourth member of the band and brought the best from these guys. He would be so proud of his boys.
That was so good. Better than any movie I've seen in years

Watching them gather together is more than enough, they made my childhood a good memories.
I don’t think there’s any other band I could watch an hour interview of, this was glorious !
You guys are the definition of hope. This gives me joy.
this is by far the best interview I've ever seen
Love Blink 182. One of the best bands from my childhood if not the best. Totally had the enema of the state album growing up.
The fact that Tom sings "Bored To Death" live says SO much about how they've put aside any old BS. You gotta love these guys, the new album is GREAT, and I hope they continue to be happy.
When I saw them I was surprised they played something from the time. I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t want to but doing so shows a maturity.
Glad they didn’t play that one. Cynical is definitely a better one played live
@@NateSkates182Nate knows
Honestly when I heard him sing bored to death, I was surprised at how good it sounded.
He does look a like Bored to death playing it though
I just want you to know that they've added +44 and BCR on the setlist for the current tour
Blink-182 isn't just a band. They're a family. And we're all a part of it.

It's unbelievable how a band like this that started our as kind of a joke band, is truly the most important music and and comeback of all time. I'm so glad I saw them on MTV in 5th grade and never stopped loving them! Best band in the world!

I saw them play last week in Mpls. Professionalism is an understatement. They were flawless. I've seen them play before, but this was top tier. They've perfected their Art.
Only Blink can produce lines like this from people not even involved in the band: "And I say that as a lifelong enema fan...."
Haha, I didn't even notice it. Getting someone to say that line in a pretty serious and heartfelt interview is exactly what they were talking about with always being about the jokes. Legends.
Tom, Mark, Travis it’s been 20 yrs I’ve been a fan.. I love you guys .. thank you for your gift of music. You guys inspired punk rock to me when I was 12.. ive been a loving witness to your success, triumphs, and story
You can see the way Tom and Mark lit up talking about their youth and meeting and the beginning of the band. I loved that.
I'm 37 and got a blink tattoo at 18... only got to see these guys once, but imma see'em again!... best band ever!
Out of all the interviews I've ever seen so far in my life, i feel this is just the best because its so real, they are themselves and nothing else. Fantastic interview 🤙
One of the best interviews I've ever seen no one has that same passion that Zane has
I never comment on videos but felt absolutely compelled to do so with this one. This interview has absolutely everything, the questions are so well articulated and Zane really gets down to the nitty gritty super deep stuff pulling on all their emotions. Absolutely blew me away, thank you Zane for this beautiful interview and thank you Mark, Tom and Travis for opening up and being so honest. The new record is ace and has everything I could ever wish for from a Blink record.
Sometimes we need reminders of that - and to see what they've created now and being a band again is seriously one of the best fucking things ever
