Dave, thank you, your staff and all of the wonderful volunteers for giving these adorable creatures another chance! I absolutely love this series, and live vicariously through every episode
Awww around 08:01+ Seeti's little sucking song is so adorable.....but as Dave talks about they are adorable NOW, but they are NOT DOMESTICATED animals like dogs, and cats. They are Not meant to live in homes with human families!!! I love watching the VMF videos because #1 I learn a lot, and #2 because they are Rescuing these amazing animals and doing their Best to return them to the closest life they would have in the wild!!! #notpets!!!
Mrs Gold is so sweet, she's such an Awesome foster Mom. I love how Edson is sitting next to Lottie & Mrs G and he's lip smacking/talking to them 35:23-35:38......it makes you wonder what he is saying, I like to think it's something like "Lottie move over and let me snuggle too!" !🐵💜🐵
Thank you Dave and Vervet Monkey Foundation volunteers for rescuing these orphaned baby Vervet monkeys. You do an amazing job of giving these wild baby monkeys another chance. Thank you for all the wonderful video's full of information; explaining in detail why it is never a good idea to try to make a wild monkey a pet. Thank you for giving the critically injured baby monkeys excellent medical care. I hope little Yolanda and little Zebulon recover from their serious trauma's. It is amazing how resilient these tiny babies are. Thank you.
Thank you for all of the education Dave! I think it's awesome that y'all explain things again every so many episodes. It's not only important for new people but helps us all understand why the work you do is so important. Thank all of you for the work you do and taking the time to update us.
@@VervetMonkey Occasionally I share your videos with the supporters of the TH-cam Monkey Star channels to demonstrate the lifelong damage that is done to the stolen infants. This is an exceptionally good video to show the difference between just feeding, diapering, dressing, and a pat on the head for a photo op, and your showing of playing with the babies, giving them a little climbing play area, tummy rubs, and how you integrate them into the troops. Yesterday I saw a vid of a 3 month old trying to nurse from the nipple of its male kidnapper. Everyone thought it was so funny including the kidnapper. So upsetting.
Another great video. I want to thank you Dave for going into such detail explaining all the procedures and the necessity of why you do what you do. All the babies are so adorable. Glad to see Yolanda is improving more each day. Little Seeti is so cute. I love the way he plays with the caregivers. You have so many babies to get adopted by foster moms. Hope it works out for them all. Mrs. Gold is such a fantastic foster mom. She has the patience of a Saint. You are lucky to have her. Great job everyone. Thank you for your devotion to all these beautiful monkeys. Be safe everyone. God bless you all.
These 2 babies would not made it at all without your SUPERIOR CARE, at this level of care there is so much involved. The staff who care for these little fragile babies are HEROES, God will Bless you TRIFOLD. 😥🤞🤞🤞💓💓💓💓💓💓🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Your special care for this monkey babies is a amazing - I can see, that both little monkeys are back in life and they are enjoying there "new" life! A big thank to you!
I always say if I had the money, I'd adopt an entire family of Monkey Babies and then someone will start telling me how crazy I am to want a monkey! They tell me about all the work, the money & the risks.... I then explain I don't want to physically adopt a baby money, I'd like to virtually adopt a family or troop of Vervet Monkeys from the VMF & offer to send a link since I am not able to adopt/sponsor right now because my cat needs dental surgery. I tell people when they ask if they can do anything to repay a favor that if they wanted to donate to the VMF in my name or honor of be grateful. I explain that MS has made it hard to ready or watch tv for long periods but watching or just listening to your content brings me hours of rest & entertainment! Watching the interactions, of these create brings me hours of joy!
You care of each monkey baby so well - and you know what they need. I wish Yolanda a good healing process and I am happy to see, that she gets better evey day...
Another amazing video guys. Thank you all for your emotional investment into these little bundles of mischief. The fact that all these babies are given a second chance at life in a safe, natural environment is evidence of what big hearts you all have. But for you all these little monkeys would have died a cruel, slow death mourning alone for the mother they have lost. If you watch the progression of these little imps, the come in so scared and unsure of what they will encounter. And that your foster mums are so good at it just serves to reveal they are content in their lives. There is no amount of money that can purchase that, it is an attribute of evolution. Thank you for giving them all 600+ of them space to just be.
It just amazes me how the babies don't APPEAR to try to get the bandages/slings, etc off and even while getting nebulizer treatments, Zeb wasn't afraid of it and just stuck his face in it! I think once they get settled and grieve, then get cuddled and nurtured, they understand that everyone is trying to help them. (They're STILL wild though! ') )
Thank you VMF for putting together another fantastic episode! I just love the work you do. My greatest dream is to volunteer at the Foundation one day. I love the explanations Dave adds to your episodes- like another viewer was saying- how he explains why vervets do not make good pets. Moreover, I love how he gives innuendo to the complicated social and hierarchical issues when integrating a baby. I can only imagine pairing a baby with the personality of a specific troop. It requires an intimate knowledge of the ins and outs of every single troop (its key players- alphas, the interworking, dynamics), along with the personality of the baby. As we saw in Season 2, sometimes the consequences are heartbreaking when something goes wrong. It's not all fun and games and cuteness (although we love those parts too). Thank you so much for educating us and including us in your lifelong commitment and journey at the Foundation! (p.s. Connie has an amazing Instagram page- I urge you all to follow her- she has so much great footage. Plus, you can see real-time all of the orphans that join the Foundation).

How is it that Zebulon uses that nebulizer like an adult human ? It must feel good on his lungs but you’d think the mist and the noise would freak him out a bit .
This is the first video about people that like monkeys for real and not for the photo and money.Other people dress them as kids and force to do things.

I'm glad I found this channel! Happy to here you educate people on the morality of not owning these beautiful creatures. Some time ago I watched a show called Monkey Boo, never again!!! He had a capuchin monkey, he would preach to everyone about how they should not get one. He visited the place where he bought his. He acted like the location was top secret, that way no one else could buy one and sit at home and collect TH-cam$$$ and gifts and treats in the mail. (my opinion). It was cute at first, but it really nagged at me that the little guy wasn't free. The day came that he had his K9's removed🙊... Then he went and bought another one! It was explained that the baby's are ripped from their mother's arms and bottle raised!!! I was done!!! I regret I every gave him any views. Bless you and everyone at the camp for supporting these babies 🙏
The reason for the secrecy is because it is illegal to own monkeys in those Asian countries. They buy the monkeys illegally from poachers that kill the mothers, and sometimes entire troops to steal the babies and sell them. It is horrific how they are obtained and treated. I use to watch them also. Not any more.
You all are amazing working so hard for these babies to make it and have mommies! Watched you while it is 23 F and snowing atleast 4 inches on top of so much sleet! Be safe!
