I wake up to coffee and a few videos about vervet monkeys. I'm fascinated in length of time each baby learns to trust you all, especially after the death of their mom or being abandoned.
Thanks to all the volunteers who care enough to help these babies and to the one who saw what was needed and made it happen. I call this the foundation of love..lol
I'm touched by your love, willing to train others in the life of the Vervet monkey. Because of your channel, I will not support these people who put close on them, drug, and other things that are devastating just for money.
I would LOVE to volunteer, but I can't so I can be your cheerleader, send others to your channel. Thank you again for caring and giving these monkeys a chance.

It’s absolutely fantastic that these babies get a new mom after losing theirs so tragically. The best thing of all is that these little ones get to actually be monkeys and not pets that are normally so abused. So thrilling that after such horrible things happening to them they get sort of a new beginning in life. I wsh I was much younger so I could volunteer. The primates fascinate me. I guess it’s were they’re so much like us. Thank you again for your caring hearts.

So many babies! May God bless Mrs. Gold, the wonder-mom! Poor little Claudette-Marie seems especially frightened and insecure. Only she knows what trauma her young mind is harboring. That so few of you manage to proficiently guide each baby with their individual conditions and needs, from intake to foster-mom readiness, under often adverse conditions and sparse resources, is profound. This video in particular for me illuminates some of the many constant, simultaneous challenges you all face and overcome with limitless patience and fortitude. And I know what we see is just some of what you all deal with. It is truly humbling.❤

The foster moms are super-natural in how they not only ‘get’ the situation but that they understand what us needed of them and step-up accordingly . Astounding . I mean , if even the very young ones are aware that they - as tiny outsiders - would ordinarily be in grave danger ,,, then what a monumental leap for the foster moms to ultimately go against their ancient cellular memory - i.e. the survival and health of the troop sadly requiring that even an adorable , (to us humans) and helpless , tiny baby would need to be “shunned” , destroyed . Of course my soft human heart would prefer if it were a swift and sure ending of his/her life - without the nasty bullying but … I’ve been binge watching these videos and I embarrass myself at how stricken I am by the cuteness factor . It’s far more than their cuteness that slays me . Adding the way they move , their already individual characters showing up , their facial expressions that are SO profoundly recognizable , combined …?! “Cute” is almost a silly term to describe them .

The males are vasectomised so the females can take care of the orphans but every now and again there are a few born as no contraceptive method is 100% but we are a non breeding sanctuary it would take a massive amount of resources and there would be no room left for the orphans.

Seeing how you put out hearts and soul into saving these small babies it make me warm and happy, It's sure that your channel want me to see more. I have not seen channels about monkey babies for a long time, because of the abuse there is around the small babies, just to make money out of taking them from their moms and force Them to act, or abuse them trough the Day, a lot of Them dies because of the abuse they are exposed too
I when i ser such a Chanel, i try to convince the wiewers to donate their money instead to foundations like yours, and i will ask the wiewers here to do the same when you see a abusing channel, report Them, and the, try to convince them to look and suscribe to this channel, or donate some money.

What y'all do is so great!!! I try not to watch the other TH-cams where they just release their money making monkey babies back into the wild when they get too big. They literally end up A drug addict who has to go through withdrawals and after the other monkeys watch that, they get beat up, bitten. The other monkeys do not accept them cause now they think something is very wrong with them. The babies all end up alone, starving to death and It is a painful sad death and the cameraman just keep video taping it until they're dead. They gotta make their money off these poor little souls too. Every time I watch one even if it was 3yrs ago to present I pray for their little souls🙏😪❤

But the way I help is by watching your videos. I do have a question though. When I first started watching you had a foster Mom for each baby. If you had 3 babies then you had 3 moms. But here lately, there's only been 1 foster Mom for 3 babies. Sometimes 2 moms. Why did you stop having one on one?

Susie Holley - After watching for almost four years, the mom’s do not breed. They allow their foster babies to suckle like a pacifier. l always thought that sounded painful but they don’t seem to mind.

How did these babies get orphaned?

I really hoped they moved Claudette. I understand she was scared but Edmond needs a chance to find a mother without being clung so tightly by Claudette. I really hoped Angelica or Mrs Gold would've separated them.

As much as I can appreciate what the VMF does, I wish they (and other Orgs) would concentrate on animals that are in real danger of extinction or special concern. Vervets are in no danger of being listed special concern or going extinct. There are many, many locations where Vervets are labeled pests and are legal to hunt (as they ravage many farmers crops). It's very kind what y'all do, there are just many other species that really need human help. Vervets do fine by themselves.

so we should just leave them on the road to suffer and die after a car accident because they no endangered - those that are in danger of extinction became that way because people did not care enough when they weren't - every living being deserves compassion and care regardless of status

I love these people that give there all to save these poor sweet creatures but it annoys the shit out of me and I don't get tht they don't pull a baby that will only cling to another baby sometimes a bit of a bigger one clinging to a smaller one first that doesn't happen in the wild they cling to their moms which they have to be made to understand but really both have been through the awful trauma of either watching possibly while clinging to them seeing them killed or pulled off them and their mom taken away or left for some reason by their mom. None of them then should have the added stress from that to being in a new place and have to have the responsibility of carrying another baby everywhere not being able to get around as easy as they could before this put upon them certainly not able to climb or meet and make friends with others like them if the one clinging to them like super glue screams and holds them back or scares the others wanting to meet the other that wants to meet them to. Why let that pressure be put on a baby that's been through the awfulness of losing its mom? Why allow that then not only do they not stop it but sometimes its one clinging to another then another clinging to that one so it is held back by having 2 to be made to carry and even when that one tries its hardest to get the other off but can't they don't help they laugh while one has another hanging from underneath it like it would hang under its mom while she walks around they don't stop it then put them in to meet moms and can't because the one that thinks the one its clinging to is its mom and wont stop screaming until the mom goes away also again can't climb either and its the same outcome always they have to end up separating them what the fuck then all of a sudden the one made to play mommy now for the first time is free so has to figure that out plus meet the moms why not figure it out and stop it if its gonna have to be stopped anyways they talk about getting them used to being in the wild everything except letting 2 of them get used to it it holds both back and after being let to cling to another for so long goes through the trauma of losing its other foster mom (a baby ) all over again why the fuck do they stress them and not be able to be allowed to explore and be taught to be a baby it drives me crazy and makes me so mad its nothing to laugh at you end up having to separate them anyway why wait until after they are supposed to get used to all of the new stuff they've been thrown into it makes no sense and is bad for both the babies to lose out on their introduction period stop making one have to be held back

I don't understand why you guys always put one mom with two or three babies??? Only one gets the love and attention it supposed to get right?? I'm sure there are plenty of foster moms to have one each then two or three for some and none for others....
