i just `modded` my origin 20 by putting a eq pedal or tube screamer on full volume and dimed the eq`s and it pushed the tubes well. jhs volume pedal in the effects loop to get gain at reasonable levels
Mega stoked to see some Mods, it looks great with the gold band across, authentic looking. If you dont mind me asking, which caps have you replaced, and I'm in the process of adding a PPIMV Trainwreck Type 3, and just wanted to confirm the location of the final coupling caps for the output valves? Couldn't help.could you? You're getting some meat out of that amp at low volumes, bet it soars when you get to crank it. Thank you, :-)
Hi. It wasn't me who modded the amp but my tech. I'm in the vid and I adjusted the bias with this German Bias Master which is very easy to use, I also drew the line with some masking tape, a ruler and a gold sharpie. But I do have pics of the inside of the amp, just send me your email address and I'll send you the pics, in them you'll be able to see the caps, they are orange and yellow. In case you can't see the caps well, I'll ask my tech. Cheers and thanks for the comment.
@@elbenaso ahh, wicked, thanks. It's jasonfieldhouse1@hotmail.co.uk Now way, you drew that with a gold sharpie? What a cunning plan, 'as cunning as a fox who had just been appointed professor of cunning at Oxford University' brilliant ingenuity! Keep on rocking bud, \,,/

Can you send me a close up of the strip to my email?
I sold it! But you only have to use two strips of masking tape and a golden marker.
elbenaso so it was just like drawn on? I thought maybe like you dented in a line and then filled it with something gold
Ivansito Gonzalo I just painted it.
