I just really hope they take advantage of new technology, such as tracing, better performance with bigger parks and hopefully they give animations of people actually getting on a ride and getting off a ride rather than they’re just magically there and then out.
To be honest, id rather not have raytracing but rather have really improved performance. I think even today planco graphics look great, in my opinion doesnt need to imepvoe that much and be over the top. But perfomance man, its been nearly 10 years since planco 1. if we dont see significant improvement and better fps even in lager parks with more guests than that would be a real bummer :/
@@EntitySevenParanormal yeah i agree it could be. But id rather have them focus on perfomance first and then on graphical overhaul and adding new gpu technologies thats what i meant :) but i see where you coming from, also with raytracing i think it would be more realistic especially for dark rides.
@@dean._.0.0 it’s not insignificant. There are far more hardware intensive games out there that have no problems with animations. If you were to build a large park and have a crowded park without any roller coasters or build roller coasters without any supports, the games performance works really well. Yeah it sounds strange, but there are TH-cam videos of people showing that coaster support beans for whatever reason has a huge impact on the games performance.
I'd love to have an amphibious/submarine-style transport ride, and a suspended monorail. Also elevators/escalators. Those are the three check boxes missing for me: it's very "elemental", land-based, water-based, and "sky"-based transportation. The creativity side can be left to us, but I'd be on board with the rides filling in those zones, first. That being said, realism enthusiasts want uber-hyper-super-extreme detailed nitty gritty stuff, and so I feel like Frontier can find the harmony by making sure the generic versions of rides are available, and the variations be something we create or at least have access to in a more simplified version (i.e. Disneyland Train with the sideways seating vs. generic train with forward seating being a train and seating is a pick your own list). That choice of variation within the transport selection also allows for more creativity or dare-we-say-the-word modding to happen.
I think it’s a bit of a pipe dream, but I’d love to see old fashioned cars as a transport ride, the kind that Disney has on its Main Street. Of course, as long as there’s a steam train I’ll be happy
I love transport rides. Some new options I would like to see. Large Boats that could be pirate ship, steam boat or ferry boat. Trolley/streetcars that ride on paths by guests. Stage coach ride maybe for a Western DLC in the future funicular for mountains Elevators, moving walkways and Escalators.
I would love for them to have the ability to make working railroad crossings on paths so you dont have to raise the tracks or lower the paths. A lot of parks have trains that run around or through the park with crossings. you can fake it with collisions but not the same.
I think it’d be cool if it were possible to have employees drive through the park on golf carts and similar vehicles that pick up patrons and cart them to different locations of specific areas of the park so they don’t have to walk everywhere. They could have us preprogrammed specific routes so that it still operates similarly to the transport rides, but still reduces the amount of “guests are tired” notifications you get
You would love Disneyland. Much more intimate than Disney World. It's a 4 hour drive from Las Vegas to Anaheim...so you would need more than a few hours....😁
I think they should take some inspiration from the Disney Transport, particulary the buses. Disney has about 500 buses that take you to the parks and resorts, plus you do not have to pay for them.
My wife and I both worked at Disneyland in our 20s. The monorail is ok, the track only takes it through some of tomorrow land and fantasy land, then goes to and from Downtown Disney. When I was a kid, instead of going to Downtown Disney it went straight into the Disneyland Hotel (that ended in 1999). I still remember staying at the hotel a a kid and getting up and heading to the Monorail Cafe and having breakfast there before jumping on the Monorail and heading directly to the park.
I'd love to see a chairlift/gondola ride on release. Other than that, I hope we eventually get the smaller versions of trains & monorails, like Chance Rides' CP Huntington train or Zamperla's Monorail (with the ability to have multiple cars per train, I don't remember if you could do that with Zoo's version of the monorail). I also would appreciate it if they gave us versions without any type of cover for the cars; to have some cars without shade or design your own with the new in-game tools. On that note, I definitely have plans to make tiki-themed gondolas if we get a lift like Cedar Point's Sky Ride. Not necessarily rides, but with PC2's new path tools I hope they can eventually add elevators (high capacity and more normal capacity ones) and escalators.
The Cedar Point, Great Adventure, & Sea World Sky rides are all VonRoll rides from Switzerland. The round cabin that raises on a tower at Carrowinds is also VonRoll
oh I love transport rides. I hope PC2 can build roads for trams, carts, bus, horse carriage, and service vehicle just like Disneyland. ohohoh wouldn't that be cool if we can design parade and the parade flow. wow.
Adjacent to transport rides, would be scaleable trackless cubes that can be drawn on any surface like PC1 race tracks and have timed intervals, in order to make PARADE FLOATS! Also include the option for bands/ dancers and mascots as clumps in a parade sequence or on the floats themselves!
Not really realistic park wise, but I enjoyed making mostly underground subways in RCT3. Each stop was a different area. Pool area, Kiddie Area, etc...
Hi Sdan thanks for the shout out for my channel. I think you’re right steam trains and theme parks go hand-in-hand. I would definitely love to see a aerial Tramway. Great video thanks for sharing. Be safe till next time. -George.
Now I know it’s not a transport ride, but I’d like to see the bumper boat ride make it return from the roller coaster tycoon series. I love that and roller coaster tycoon one and two you can either make it a circuit with track or you can make it where they can go out into an openlake and bump into each other 8:13
Unless u have a really good pc I think transport rides are useless. I play on console and because of the limitations I can never build a park big enough to warrant a transport ride. ( not a well detailed park anyway.)
To be honest, I am not interested in new content besides the customizability of roads and water park. What I'm really interested in is optimization. I want to be able to build large parks without lag.

people getting on and off a ride is so ridiculous to me. why waste the performance on something so insignificant.

All i would wish for is a small monorail and a small miniature train. ❤
Monorail - Shuttle Operation would be nice. Never understood why it was never an option.
The pools and changes to water makes me hopeful for planet zoo 2 to get more aquatic animals and fish

I would love to see an elevator transport ride, just so we can get some verticality.
liked and (already) subscribed, all the content, gimme gimme gimme

I’d like the parking lot type of transportation that would be fancy
I hope to see staff pathing in behind the scenes locations , items and decorations.

What about Planet Coaster 2, Having Mini-Subs to go with the Water parks options? also more boat options too?
ooooo that zoo monorail is super cool. hope we get something like that
Double-decked open-air transport buses that can be set up along pedestrian pathways and routed with bus stops set by the player.
The Cedar Point, Great Adventure, & Sea World Sky rides are all VonRoll rides from Switzerland. The round cabin that raises on a tower at Carrowinds is also VonRoll

For a sequel that only differs from the first one in details, all I can say is: no real co-op, no buy!

I’m pleased you mentioned this coz in the new video recently, I never saw transport rides in the menu

I’d love for you to make a video like this but about dark rides

Hope the open sky ride gondolas like at Great Adventure
Thank you sdan for mentioning my comment and name ❤
I hope they have a lot of options for transport rides.
i think we just need really standard one, we probalby will also be able to add scenery to them like rollercoasters and attractions....
I struggled with the transport rides in PC1 - could rarely get people to use them.
👍
Will it get physical release, does anybody know?
Probably
