I’m loving the amusement park so far. Just a small suggestion, can we please get more building in the next episodes? More than half of the video was just you explaining what you’ve done behind the scenes or what you plan to add in the future. I guess most of us watching, would like to see more of the building. Haha I may add some more Timelapse but that’s not really my thing 😄 My gaming sessions are so long and all over the place so recording the entire thing just feels weird and I don’t think I build as freely as when I’m just “gaming” recording Timelapse for me just feels forced
Your enthusiasm is contagious. I also like that you are developing the whole area. Very cool stuff. I like the idea of the monorail going through the theme/coaster park. You could even set up the monorail station in the park to be a separate type of park entrance. You can go to the front gates for entrance or those riding the monorail would enter the park from the monorail station. To simulate this better, you could even incorporate a guest spawning point in the monorail station. Anyway, take your time with the water park. I recall a LOT of pleading during the PC1 days for the addition of water park stuff. We got it now, so have fun with it!
I love the idea of the monorail giving a view through the theme park like EPCOT but ending outside the theme park (for passengers who are riding but do not yet have theme park tickets). So they’ll have to walk through the ticket entrance. Great work. You give me much inspiration and excitement for the game. Keep it up!!! Have a great weekend! 🎉

it would be so cool to see the monorail station be in the hotel, add some life and foot traffic in there, either way this park looks so amazing, every update I hop in PC2 and just am in Awe as I look around the park.
Walking through your thought process when putting a building together would be so helpful to us building newbies. Maybe just taking a small building - like a guest services stand or something - and just showing how you approach building your buildings.
Love this build! Personally, I’d make willow grove another hotel given its proximity to the theme park. Heck, instead of making it fancy, make it a generic “cheap” motel!!
Love the update, still so excited every time a new video comes out! For the Willow Grove area, a neighborhood could be cool, but I did like the idea of what you were talking about last video too. Like, a more adult-oriented nightlife area. What if you did something similar to Downtown Disney/Disney Springs and Disney Pleasure Island. Like, a boardwalk/nightlife/shopping center there along the water, and then maybe you can include what Brian said, having some really nice large "Event Venue" lodge for weddings/conferences, and then toss in maybe a few timeshares if you do want some semi-residential sprawl on the outskirts of the waterfront.
Since the beginning I've loved how excited you are to build new things, and now that is totally turned up a notch by the hotfix making peeps finally ride things. Love it!
Cant wait to see how the water park wraps up now! Try putting a splash emporim near the lazy river entrances and making tubes free. Should help with guests using tubes in river
What if up on the mountain it’s a hot springs area? A lot of resorts started around hot springs for “medicinal” purposes. Some hot springs have been closed over time to preserve them, so maybe it’s more of an education walk through/hiking trail of the “old resort”. Just an idea to add to the lore. Plus hot “springs” wilderness “springs” huh huh? Love theory crafting about this park. The hot fix makes things look so much better. Great job PC2 and SDan!!
Looks like the park has life, finally! I mean it's not like life wasn't there, but now that we can see the slides working like parks would have.... queuing up the towers, and riders.... well, there wasn't life before. Huge change! Great job Frontier!
Would be so cool to see an alpine/mountain coaster or 2 built on the mountain side that is exclusive to the resort/waterpark. These type of coasters are often found at resorts like this and would be a good alternative for those who want to ride a mild coaster-like attraction while staying at the resort but aren’t entirely interested in visiting the amusement park across the highway.

I'm usually an asshat when it comes to my games but for some reason when it comes to Frontier they get mercy...IDK why but I'm happy that they are listening to us!!!! To me that makes them a stand up company and I feel they are #1 to me and are my pick company when it comes to games I like to play. Love being able to load your park myself and see the progress! I think an interesting addition would be to build and hide a track underneath the highway with a ride which has trains that resemble cars, and leaving that in test mode to give the illusion of cars driving down the highway.
I really admire your passion and enthusiasm combined with creativity. What’s being done with this park is really giving me a ton of great ideas (even if I’m not talented enough to recreate them yet)
What you said about around 9:37. It got me thinking about Great Wolf Lodge, LOL! I love going to Dollywood, Great Wolf Lodge, Water Parks. I would like if you do the theme park the theme of Dollywood, since you put in the Gas Station from East Tennessee, that I go every year for vacation to visit the Smokies. I enjoy your content very much, it's gets me unbored and makes me like watching how you do this. I couldn't really do the detailing that good, you've good experienced skills from playing Planet Zoo or Planet Coaster. I've watched other videos from other contents for Cities Skylines 1 or 2 and it is soo good. Seriously, I love watching your videos. You're pretty good at these stuff. Thank you for making me not bored! :D (Not Important: I'm from South Carolina, and loved seeing Carowinds from Interstate 77 when rarely traveling up to Charlotte or outside of Rock Hill, SC. I also live in a small community town right next of Camden, which is Lugoff. The only little town with that name on Earth.)
Looks great! I'd make Willow Grove the cabin area and put a bigger hotel where the cabin area is currently at. Can have a water park connection from the other hotel. Nestle the cabins away from everything else then maybe a nature park that jets out to the water area. Give a bigger peace of mind for camping residents lol. Nevertheless great work. Keep it coming!
I like the idea of having a rollercoaster by the water but instead of it being part of Wilderness Springs, maybe it's a public park with a small rollercoaster and some food/drink stands that are all owned by Wilderness Springs. A place where people can go for picnics, walk around, enjoy an inexpensive ride or two while staff pass out flyers/discounts to the main park. Almost like a low-cost preview of Wilderness Springs. I'm thinking Coney Island-esque but less beachy.

My only "suggestion" is that rather than an "expensive gated community" I would turn Willow Grove into an "event venue" - possibly themed to look like the resort and set for large gatherings (weddings, holiday parties) - seems it would be ideal as a way to attract groups to the resort. Could build a gazebo overlooking the water as a photo op for the wedding couple. Just my 2¢ while enjoying watching your creations!
Not a bad idea at all! Would save me from having to create a giant neighborhood as well. This could conceivably be a Wilderness Springs Wedding Venue - Even could have a live music stage, actual ceremony area etc. Maybe have a large oak tree where the people stand under to get married. Very clever idea buddy!
loving the vids keep going. i think you should expand the water park as much as you can. i mean why leave the space where yo can build much more.. i think you should flatten the terrain till the edgemark and extend the water park till there.. withmore water rides ofc ;)
This game has to be top tier coding for sure. One of the best in any game series. Millions of possibilities available in this. With the thousands of people that play not one park would be the same. The creativness and personality of each player makes the game different for everyone unlike 99% of games 🤯 had to edit to make head explosion dude cause honestly this game mind bongels me.

Beautiful park it actually looks very similar to a water park/ ski resort i live kinda close to, it’s called mountain creek (formerly known as action park) and the resort looks so similar to what you built, I love it!
At this point, just build an actual city. 🤣 But in all seriousness-a small rustic mountain town supplying goods and labor to the massive regional theme park would probably be sick.
Obviously this video is like a big planning session, but when you get down to the nitty gritty... how do you plan what goes where and building the paths and which direction you want things to flow... It's just all so impressive!
I tried going through all the earlier episodes to see where you constructed the map itsself, but it almost seems to just appear from one video to the next. Is it one of the base sandbox maps, or did you use something else? Was it homemade and if so, any plans to share the map itsself on the workshop? Love the park and the whole setting. I'm currently struggling with trying to build a map myself for my own park, and I love the way your map is laid out.
Oh no bud this was just the 1st map that popped up when I went into sandbox mode and I started building 😄 I hadnt even thought about custom maps tho, that could be a pretty cool idea to do one day
I've just had a look at your park last night, it's epic. I've checked it out from day 1. But your latest build with monorail is 87% memory usage. I'm on console. Are you gonna finish up the water park portion and then make the theme park on a different park save, then publish that separately? As us console players will loose the ability to check your park out from the workshop if it's over memory for us.

I still think thats something thats being worked on so hopefully we get a fix on that soon and the barriers work properly! My biggest tip honestly is - clutter. Just have fun with adding as many pieces to your build as you can and always go back and think, what else can I add that will help tell the story

I’m still having problems with people using the flumes. I have other rides in my park and guests still seem to be favoring the rides over the flumes and pools. I don’t think the guest behavior is balanced across all attractions yet. Gonna try building a water park with no rides like yours is now. I’ll be interested to see how your guests behave once you start adding flat rides and coasters.

Open area right of resort (next to heindals pass) should be an indoor water park with breezeway to hotel! Great wolf lodge vibe for off season

You could build a campground, cabin and parking lot area near that river. Maybe put an outdoor theater and entertainment area there as well.

I can't find the blueprint after I subscribe even in sandbox with unlimited money and research off. :( I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(
