Yes you can iron it. You can also use hemming web to put the facing down

Hello! ❤️❤️No it’s not. It’s just not tight fitted. There’s enough allowance and a wide neckline

Used your this method to make this same style but with a stretchy fabric and the cowl neck didn’t form.please why is that so?
Hello Clara.... that’s odd cos one of my students did with a stretchy fabric and it was just fine. Although the technique for sewing stretchy fabrics differ but your cowl should form nonetheless
You could try cutting your cowl while your fabric is folded on the bias grain.

@@Farshioncrafts while your reply is very authoritative (no please, no Thank you) I’m replying because I genuinely care about my viewers. What I can advice you to do is to try with scrap fabric & see if works for you. Might be your methodology .... you can also fold your fabric on a bias grain & cut it out. Always attempt anything you’re unsure of with scrap fabric first. I hope this helps.
