If you haven't seen my video on how to tie the four types of friendship bracelet knots, this one is a little shorter, and might answer your questions: • How to Make Friendship...

    Thank you for making this video. I used to make friendship bracelets back in the 90's (yes. I'm aging myself). There were no complicated patterns back then. All we did were candy stripes and chevrons. My son wanted a 4 leaf clover bracelet for St. Patrick's day. After printing out a pattern, I realized this was definitely more advanced than what I knew. I know this video is pretty old. And, I'm so happy it's still here. Happy Knotting!

    this is sooo helpful!!! but once you reach the end of the pattern, if the bracelets not long enough, do you repeat from the very beginning??

    • @agmo8132
      @agmo8132 5 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Yes! If the pattern repeats itself ( like a bracelet with puppy faces)
      You just start again from the beggining. :)

    • @ally7609
      @ally7609 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      AGMO what if the strings don’t match up like if their in the wrong place

    • @agmo8132
      @agmo8132 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@ally7609 Firstly, make sure you are following the pattern correctly.
      If you are, that means that your pattern is a little off. You need to find the row that you are that matches another row from the beggining of the pattern.
      Or find the part of the pattern that suits well with the end of your bracelet, and then follow it normally.
      It's a little bit tricky, I hope you understood It. :)

      She just explain it. You have to pay attention to strings, if they have the symbols is going into the knots, and if it doesn’t it’s left out. In this case, the white strings in the second are out because it doesn’t have the knot symbols.

    Great tutorial. Thank you. I would really like to make a bracelet using this pattern. Would you mind sharing the pattern number? If I were to make this bracelet with a sliding knot closure, what length do I need to make my strings?

    In Minute 11:24 you mean „finishing like a backward knot“ but you said forward.
    But it’s a very Logic and relaxed explanation of these patterns. Thanks ❤

    How neat! I suggest you make a bracelet step by step entirely from beginning to end at completion, which I know would be tedious for you, but very helpful to us beginners following along! Really good directions. I got a little lost when you left at rows 3-5... :)
