Mike “Fireball” Dechaine, at just 25-years old, one of USA’s Mosconi Cup selections, just claimed the 2012 Turning Stone title. He was in the Semi-Finals against Canadian Alex “The Lion” Pagulayan, 34, a former U.S. Open 9-Ball champion who recently won the Southern Classic 9-Ball division title. Unlike most, these commentators were not annoying and the match was enjoyable to watch.
What a match! I remember this one from back in the day. (Mainly, I remembered Alex trying his “jump shot” after the match.)

I watched this match live. Directly after as Mike was walking back up to his room and extremely visibly upset, threw his case up the hall. Ranted and raved about his bad luck and how lucky every Filipino player is especially when they play him. Pretty brutal to watch his meltdown.

Mike D really let Alex off the hook. Not taking anything away from Alex. But this was far from Alex’s best performance and Mike shoulda capitalized on it. Mike De-Shame
Yeah, you can't take nothing from Alex... he Worked that sh!t..! Developing shot, breaking balls out WITH position, threading the cue between tight balls for position.... If any thing Alex made it easier for Mike early in the match.
Great work, Accu-stats. If I may make a suggestion: I'd love it if the score were more discreet, or took up less of the screen.

The clock was bugging me. It continually shorted the player on their extension time.
Maybe the extension was only 35 seconds.
Not sure what you mean.
When a player called for an extension, the clock would reset to 40, then start counting down again after a few seconds, but if you count down, in your head, the original timer, the extension timer always begins 3 or 4 seconds too early.

Yeah if they called for their extension at 9sec, it would reset to 40 and short them original 9sec they had.

Self racking, that'll speed things up. Have seen Mike the nitpicker require a re-rack ten times once.
And then he loose racks for himself . . . smh
