Mark White and Scott Frost great commentary
Scott is actually becoming likable as a commentator. Miracles do exist.
Yeah he used to be completely insufferable years back.
Idk man. I always thought he was entertaining. On and off the table.
Excellent commentary, really enjoyed it.
Thanks to Railbirds and Bad Boy for the match! Keep them coming. 🎱👍
Watching these two play and listening to the two commentators is as good as a pool lesson from a real pro .
Scott is the best commentator ever. And I very much enjoy mark as well. Great work here
Great match and commentary
Love those lights
Great commentary!
I love how this is like chess. No politics. No international struggles (based on politics) taken into account. Just best man wins. I think it helps with international cooperation. These players don't care about such things. Just the best at their profession. Like the Olympics.
The only thing I don't like is when they don't shoot the last ball. They give the game. The should be obligated to shoot last ball. Everyone has been known to miss easy shots. Great tournament. Thanks for the streaming.
If I miss a straight in 9 bail like Pagulayan did, I give th game because I don't deserve to win.
@@donkeydiehard879 doesn't matter. Football players don't stop running towards the endzone just because there's no one behind them no freebies. Hockey player can't just pick up the puck when he's heading towards an empty net. He ha to put it in.
@@1971poolman Im pretty sure on either Euro Tour or Matchroom it's illegal to concede a rack or game, and if you do, you're reported to the organisers.
A person (player) can concede a game at any time they wish. The likelihood you will see a concession is when the upcoming shot is (decidedly) a given and it is the deciding ball of the game. As games became more and more televised, rules got added or altered so the game showed up as a complete 'thing' for the production of the show. If placing your stick on the table is a foul, and taking your stick apart before the game is over is a forfeiture, telling your opponent they need not shoot the last shot used to be allowed. He waited to see the ball position first.
What a game this would be these days if they would just play 9-ball and break the damn balls on the break! I think people like me started playing this game just because of the big loud break shot alone.
00:21:28 The pockets were 4 1/8 but more towards 4". I believe this was around 2:30 am.
2:30AM I would be falling over 😮
@@BenjaminMillam It was unbelievable. I don't know how they did it honestly.
In terms of players one experiences a sense of confidence in, I'd say Johann Chua elicits that in spades.
Hey Kevin 👋
One day I'm going to enter and win this. Or at least finish top 5.
Remember me when you do.. you gotta fan !
Most spectators will know that the voice over commentary was added 10 months after the tournament was played, I'm curious why it seems like they were pretending that the audio was being recorded live at the event (note the elevator comment at the beginning)? Nonetheless, good video, thanks for posting!
haha that was Mark just having a little fun with it. I don't think he thought the viewers would actually believe it.
"the voice over commentary was added 10 months after..." This game was in December, child. The commentary was live.
Twenty-Two minutes in and I'm like : Man! this is Rolls-not-Royce. nobody can pocket the Two?? They're wasted! whew. Long day much? Mark, the term i coined is "annoymare". Gorst is my main man. . an archer. . . .consistency is key.
How could it take railbird almost a year from event to post this. I hope this year doesn't take this long
Gorst and Filler are ruining the game of pool for railbirds and TH-cam watchers. They are such great shots but they are boring to watch because they never take chances and never do the unexpected. So they steamroll other pros, including greats such as Alex and Van Boening.
Maybe they should start insulting the crowds and jumping up and down on the tables
Watching this level of technique and performance can't be boring if you truly love the game and have enough pool knowledge to understand what you're seeing, IMHO.
I hope Corey Dual is playing this year.
No joke...where's he been ?
Deuel
Fedor went with the ghost because he felt like the russian robot was just a bit lacking in a humanity aspect (i forgot exactly how he said it)
At 7/3 ,Alex hit the4 with his cue stick, not the rake, and yes, the 4 would have been in the path the 3 took.
So, ‘foul’. Alex was right.
You guys really should have better camera angles, that is my only gripe with the production.
We agree. We have a lot of matches from this year with multiple camera angles. But this last batch has only the one camera, unfortunately. However, next year, all of the matches (not just some of them) should have better camera angles.
@railbirdstv don’t worry, the guy complaining has never been to derby and doesn’t realize this is literally a match going on next to dozens of other tables and you have to literally set up a tripod next to everything
He has more control than you my friend...free will..believe me now? Yes you.
7:19 why is this a foul?
Alex whiffed the 2 ball on the way in, and only hit it on the way back. And after he made contact with the 2, nothing hit a rail afterwards, and that's a foul.
Ok thanks!!
more above views , when a lull
Alex dumping
watching these two play is worse than watching paint dry.clock!
Why is he wearing a cuetec shirt
He was still sponsored by Cuetec at the time of the tournament
Should hsve a shot clock wzy eay too.slow inbeywren shots no sense of rhythm makes you too anxious trying to eatch
This match desperately needed a shot clock. Unwatchably slow.
The Aussie commentator is unbelievable bad
