Everyone knows the Mansion Incident. May 11, 1998, The Arklay facility fall victim to its own hubris and the Tyrant Virus escapes its laboratory confines. But the S.T.A.R.S. investigation is at least a month away.
What went on in those final weeks?
Play as Trent, an Umbrella Agent sent to assess the facility and retrieve Umbrella's precious research. A man with a shadowy past and his own agendas.
Are those footsteps you hear down the corridor friend or foe? All is to be seen.

I miss the old school Resident Evil Style. Tank controls,fixed camera angles,interesting plot and scary and macabre enemies.....the whole nine yards.

I loved the tank controls. It took me a while to get used to RE4, today it's one of my favorites, but playing RE2 and 3 was an absolute treat... what a well designed game.
Would like to see a modern RE with the classic control mechanics.

Honestly I love these kind of mods where they make completely new scenarios to play instead of say mods that just throw a lot of monsters in a small room.

you are absolutely right. Those "Randomizers" are so boring and lazy... just putting random Enemies in different Locations isn't worth playing

It's like watching a thriller movie. The old resident evil series never get old. This is cool.😁👌
That's why I still like playing the originals, with the static fixed camera and tank controls. It's like playing your own monster movie.
@@guyvizard549yup, i agree. The remakes are nice but i prefer the originals. Too much graphics sometimes takes away from the focus of the game.

I'm at 13min and this is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere, the mix of original music and beautiful creepy new music, the backgrounds the details .. who ever did this is a genius.

I love what they've done with this mod, the author really understands the charm of ps1 era resident evil, this is the sort of game i'd imagine about as a young teen after playing resident evil 2.

this is awesome. love the use of the parasite eve 2 backgrounds and nostalgic feel. and the amount of references to other games and franchises surprised me.

Excellent references to "Night of the Living Dead", "The Return of the Living Dead" and, of course, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" at the end.

7:04 the design of that wall to look like a giant face about to take a bite out of you is actually brilliant. You can’t take your eyes off of it once you notice it
The PE location is great for RE, but I also love the movie cutscene and the zombies that follow through doors occasionally. The tall zombie is cool too!

Using parasite eves background really made this feal like a new game instead of just a mod. People are getting really good at these fan games. I would love to see Re Underworld book come to life. Its kinda like that one Re movie where Alice wakes in an underground Umbrella controlled simulation. They have cities, some forest, a small lake. It would be great for a fan game.
I missed the original style. The background music and environmental sounds and the mystery. I lived thru the year 1998 and the environment was just like it was on this game

32:03 ENG: Personally i think it's the best easter egg I've ever seen in any official or fan-made game. fantastic detail. In case someone didn't understand, that zombie is Barbara's brother from the Night of the Living Dead movie that can be seen on TV. It's even in black and white colors. Seriously, great detail.

I’m sure of it & I still remember the beautiful cutscene of Aya taking a warm shower and then an earthquake happened and appeared its a giant monster that I fought him from the 2nd floor. wow what a nice memories 😊
