This is great info…it’s crazy, I’ve been mixing rap/hip hop for 26 years and could only get my music to -12- -11…..as I said in the first video I seen of yours, the God Particle got me to -6.4 and I say the God particle got me there because it got me to start properly….i still had to do a lot of things to get it there . Selective band compressors (Not multiband compressors) selective band compressor. And using the real hysteresis helped a lot too and I still have no clue what it’s doing exactly but I just use my ears with it. I use the God Particle while I mix and always swap in a reference track now…..things I woulda never done coming up. Things change, it’s sometimes hard to keep up.
