After more testing, I was able to find the max attack power, which caps at 3000 on your weapon regardless of how many seals / virtue you obtain. It can be boosted by unreasonable amounts with 4 full trooper cards. The most I was able to do in one shot was around 1400 base damage, and in the 9000's to Armor with armor piercing. Was trying to break the game Final Fantasy VII style with overflow to potentially skip boss cut-scenes, but it appears to be impossible unless you mess around with the damage up based on health lost, and keep health at critical levels seals.
Seriously. The only one I attempted was Yakuza 7, the RPG. I think I gave up after 200 ish hours, not out of having stamina because I have done a fewer longer Platinums but out of pure boredom. Games that I am fond of have a platinum that makes sense for the player to experience everything good in the game, without wasting their time. Lies of P for instance, I beat 2-3 more times after I was done with the achievements.
dumb question: where do the item drops from bandit cave missions go? Do you have to disassemble them for them to move to your inventory? I've checked my personal inventory, in your room at the barracks, checking my storage at shrines- nothing. Feels like I'm missing something obvious here.
@@meet-cx5ns drops show up as an icon on the ground. You have to pick them up for them to go into your inventory. If your inventory is full, you will have to sell items.

It is how the game is designed unfortunately. All seals when earned from disassembling a weapon / armor give you the lowest level seal, regardless if you leveled it up. Which is super annoying, & forces you to grind more / push you to the DLC shop to buy Kiwami Seals. Ah Microtransactions. Gross.
Yo I got 2 questions dose the elemental boost help DMG? And how do I shoot that fast I'm on Xbox is there a skill that lets you shoot like that (I have all the same seals as you)
@@pimponator15 I am not sure what you mean by "elemental damage" the cards I use are boosting gun damage. Also you need to get specific weapons that have the faster shooting skill on them, and then boost their attack power to max with the blacksmith.
Seriously, this is so funny to me. But yeah, the 3-4 grind was a bit brutal. Think I ran it like 50x before I got this seal once. Weirdly I changed it to nighttime, and was getting it more often, but that could be a fluke.
@@stahnaileron7628 correct, or you can be cheesy and buy the 2.99 DLC pack for 2 kiwami seals which will get you back to 3% at a 100% rate, versus the potential fail rate of grinding out more seals. Also I love the name fellow tales fan haha.
Ok I know I’m a year late, but did they buff the drop rates? I’ve already gotten 5 seals in about 7 runs, with one of the swords being 2 seals in 1, so I feel like the rates were HEAVILY buffed.
You literally cannot miss this, unless you are skipping all cutscenes, I am fairly sure you are forced to interact with the person behind the desk. I believe the people are called the Shinsengumi (sp) and you will be inducted into them at some point. @@Icecube88

I don't know how you guys get the second shot seal, I've trying to farm it through the dungeon and the golden sneak by no chance, seems like a pretty important to have. Also, does the elemental damage seal do anything?
The second shot seal is exclusive to some weapons, I have never gotten it in the wild before. But some sources I googled made it seem like its possible. However I was grinding for hours to get some of these seals so I can safely say they don't come easily, and you have to farm them in specific spots most of the time.

Personally if you grind 3-20, and just leave the game on / let your cards charge, wander around the house cleaning / watching tv / petting the pets / etc and just checking on it like every other few minutes, with some increase drop seals, you will occasionally get the Dragon Hawk which sells for like 160 Ryo, and if you wear the virtue hat, sell that crap, buy a shit ton of hammers, and sell them to the pawn shop over and over it won't be too bad.
Personally I had more luck grinding 3-4 at night time, I got like 2 seals within an hour, then I grinded gold sneaks for Kiwami seals to upgrade them. Either way works, just depends on what is less tedious to you.
You can wait if you like, what is better is to stagger them and use one at a time by triggering manually. I just did all 4 at once to show off the crazy damage. Now that my attack is maxed at 3000, I don't even bother popping the cards.

Lol I literally used a fire blade with 1243 dmg, one dmg buff card, and farmed all dragon materials in a day defeating Sanada. Don’t grind for unnecessary amounts of time trying to copy the gun build.
It took me 2 days to find everything for this build, and it likely would have went faster had I not gotten the game on day one. Lol. In this instance I was not using seals to increase drop rate, and instead focused on a build that could reduce the amount of time spent in encounters. Some of the other comments on this video will explain further how I set this up.@@707zacbuster

Being that I made this video the week the game came out, you may have indeed found a faster way. While I was playing this game, I would get bored of the tedium of grinding. My PS5 is connected into a capture card in my PC, so I can minimize the game for 30 seconds while in the dungeon while things charge, do something else, and jump in and out. I didn't say its the fastest way to do this. The title simply says fast, with an emphasis of maxing out damage..........................
@@TheWereyCar not sure, but it auto-charges in the dungeons just doing nothing, so that was my method. Checking on it here and there while I was doing other stuff. I have a monitor that accepts multiple inputs, so I may or may not have been doing that while bored at work haha.
So, I've got a question here. I'm currently using a Vortex with Gold Pierce, x2 Silver Double shots, Bronze Repentance, and a gold Fierce attack. I tested a similar build with the Dragon Hawk against Sanada, and noticed the DH was actually a slower kill vs my 18-20 second kill with Vortex. Would Vortex with all out damage seals end up being better, due to the faster rate of fire? I have a few Kiwami Sphere seals on my thanks to Golden Sneak farming, so I want to make sure I use them wisely. Also, do you use this setup for farming Sanada for the materials for the Dragon sword? Or did you go with Pierce and all greed seals?
I used this setup to grind out the Amon sword. I can't say with any certainty that I have the best method. I have seen a few people in the speedrunning discord sing the praises of the Vortex Gun, and I saw someone recently post a really cool video of them smashing the 100 man arena with it, so if you are comfortable with the grinding aspect, I would agree that the vortex gun is faster. I do however highly recommend the armor destroy % seal on any gun because I am pretty sure its broken. Like I have one seal stating 15% more damage against armor, but I am hitting base for 1400, and armor for like 9000, so its clearly broken.
what I really want to see is someone combining the "keep health at critical levels seal" with the increase damage at low health seals. to see if it can out damage the build I made.
sorry for the too many words, but I also tested the elemental damage boost, and found it largely to be useless or perhaps more correlated with stun locking.
I am using Vortex with gold Pierce, 3x gold Double Shots, and a gold Repentance. The easy answer to your question is that unless there's a cap on attack like there is on defense, more Repentances will probably always be the correct answer, possibly except for a single Pierce. But functionally, having a maximum shots per second is more useful. Greed: I have a sword with 6 gold Greed seals. Greed is worthless. Maybe you're thinking you have a base drop rate of 10% and Greed will raise that by 6% a pop. No. Since I can't even tell that it's doing anything at all, I'm assuming it raises that hypothetical 10% to 13.6% (6x6%). Skip it. Focus on killing Sanada as fast as possible. My setup is pretty much like the OP's here, except with the Vortex, I can get by with using just one of them, cycling through them.
Honestly if you are willing to grind out virtue, I would do one Virtue seal, get it to gold aka 3%, then max the gun at 3000 atk. Def get one armor piercing seal for the end game. Then every other slot ideally if you want to just be killing it, the double shot's should encompass the rest, or if its possible to increase rate of fire further (I haven't tested that) I would go that way.

How high should I get my virtue up?
To max damage at 3% its around 3.2M, and at 6% aka two fully upgraded seals its 1.6M
