I didn’t think they could top the first movie with the animation but they completely blew it out the water. We were literally watching a comic book. Every cut was a different form of animation and it worked. True artist talent and time/attention to detail at work with this movie.
When his uncle gave him that side eye, we were so scared for Miles in that moment. This movie is a masterpiece for tension. Especially that train fight!!
They foreshadowed the "wrong dimension" twist at the end so well. From Miles' mom saying "What happened to your hair?" to Miles' room being different (boxing gloves on the wall and different family photos), to his mom acting surprised about her own speech she gave her son earlier. Even the city was looking different when Miles landed. Only when Mile's mom said "Who's Spiderman?" it hit me to realize that Miles ended up in the dimension with no Spiderman that 2099 talked about earlier. That realization kicked in HARD. This movie is truly amazing.
If Beyond the Spider-verse is nearly as good as these first two movies were, we’d be looking at potentially the greatest film trilogy of all time. This movie was insane
Man, I’ve been a movie lover and fan all my life and all the time people ask me “what’s your favorite movie?” I always feel like there’s no way to answer that. This movie MIGHT just be that answer!!!
I absolutely love how they used colors to conveys even more the feelings of the characters, and mood of the scene. Especially during Gwen's story parts.

Spider-Punk was by far my favorite part of that movie. When he first showed up in the film they made it seem like he was going to be a throw away sort of character but he played a pretty big role and I loved it.
SpiderGwen scenes felt so special. the music is so beautiful, so emotional, and the character development and plot are absolutely tear jerking. BEAUTIFUL MOVIE , utterly BEAUTIFUL

Man, I just watched this movie and the ending had the audience angry. To me it’s a good sign because that tells me everyone was invested in the story and they were upset it ended with a cliff hanger.
I was so happy that not only did they show Spectacular Spider-Man more than once, but also they gave him a speaking line too!! He’s one of my favorite Spider-Man cartoons and I hope they give his series a revival for a season three.
I did see most of the easter eggs but the Alfred Molina archival voiced combined with the classic comic look of Doctor Otto Octavious was so good. This movie really showed that all the other universes are canon and can crossover to the main MCU timeline.
Man this movie is so awesome. Weve seen it 3 times now and still noticed so many things that we missed the first 2. But I loved the last 30 mins or so of the movie. The Prowler scenes were so great you can almost feel how he happy to see his uncle, then scared, then confused, then scared and it all just felt real almost
It's not that his clothese changed. That 42/Prowler version of Miles just wears purple and green. Our Miles just showed up and put his hoodie on without thinking. Gwen has our Miles' actual hoodie.
The chase sequence with Miles and all the other Spiderman is like something out of a dream for real. All the different Spidermen popping up, cats, T-Rex's - just bonkers.

The animation in this film is insane how much detail they put into it. The first film making each frame like a comic book was awesome but this film goes above and beyond to a different level with the layers and different colors and what not
Just saw it a few hours ago 🤩 That scene of Miles with his uncle was a dead give away, that Miles was NOT in his own univerese. Me: OMG! As always great breakdown. Punk Spiderman was absolutely my favorite loved how he took tech from HQ to make the timepiece for Gwen. He was the one that got to know her and knew she would rebel against Spider-Man 2099.
I have to say my favorite Cameo is Donald glovers prowler I also love how they put the spectacular spider man in it I really like how they fixed the plot hole with Michael Keaton's vulture being in the morbius universe this movie was just visually epic great character development and character arch's thank you for your content I never miss a video
Both of the things you mentioned I also loved. Donald Glover basically inspired Miles it felt right. I think I heard Spectacular Spider-Man talk right after they showed him in the top right alongside with Tobey's spiderman uncle Ben death scene.
This movie was nothing short of a COMPLETE MASTERPIECE. I have seen it 4 times now and it still has such a strong and endearing hold on me. No movie I've ever seen has impacted me so deeply. I will never tire of seeing this trilogy
Miguel seemed to not realize that Mile’s universe was not collapsing. So clearly everything was just fine and supposed to happen. Miguel was the real interference!
Why would it collapse? The only reason it will collapse is if he saves his father, which he wasn’t suppose to know. That’s why they tried to stop him after the fact.
The "All the O's always over the place" is also a reference to the movie "Everything Everywhere All at Once" which also deals with multiverse travel and the cosmic bagel used in the movie. The bagel also calls back to the Spot's origin when Miles threw it at him.
When the realization hit in that miles was not in his universe, I literally get chills every time. This is the perfect movie. I was going to go watch this movie again in theaters but then I found a way to watch in on my computer at home, so I can keep replaying the movie.
Shoe is called the Air Jordan 1 "Next Chapter" - retail price was $200 and you can pick one up for $220-280 resell. It's only on his feet at the very end of the movie when he "goes home" The first movie he worse a modified version of the Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" (the classic black white colorway he wears in most of this movie) - they sold those also for the 2018 movie with a ice blue outsole, those retailed for $180 and resell prices now are near $6-800 for a pair- The Air Jordan 1 "Origin Story". Rumor is there will be another one for 2024 Beyond the SpiderVerse. Could be the purple pair at the end of the movie on Prowler.

I love when Miguel shows miles the web. The key was the sacred timeline showing everything connected in a way easier interpretation. P.s. if you think about the spider verse is just a variant of the tva but just spider people, Instead of Kang.
I think the opening dialog from Gwen is the pitch meeting she is giving to reclute the other Spidermen at the end of the movie. Notice how this monologue is built around: - Belonging to a band - How Gwen and Miles have both tragic pasts - The cannon can be changed ("this time it's different") We hear the ending of that dialog at the end of the movie when she asks "Do you want to join?"
I thought the baby powder reference was also a call back to the first movie when Peter B Parker told Miles "You're gonna wanna use baby powder in the suit, heavy on the joints. You don't want any chafing" haha. I just watched this today and I'm blown away. Can't wait to watch it a couple more times.
I also love how they did Gwen's universe like the pastels change like a mood ring depending on her emotions I like how they made Peter B parker a father how they did the whole uncle Ben and captain Stacy Cannon was brilliant there is just so much in this movie I loved I like how they had jk Simmons in the Lego spider man universe spider punk was amazing I loved how they did his animation I heard it took a over a year just to do his animation I like that this is just as much about Gwen as it is miles Gwen's back story
My favorite part of the movie was the first 30 seconds when Gwen was rocking those drums. I knew at the moment. This movie will absolutely stunning art.

Miles makes me love being black and speaking Spanish so much !Hes such good representation for black and Latino people. His Jordan's, where's he's from, his family, everything. I got chills from every part of the movie. And the end when he met himself ( with a Puerto Rican accent jaja) it was so fire. Love him so much ! Best multiverse movie and I love Wanda lol.
The scene where Gwen and invisible Miles are in the building the Spot destroyed/escaped from is a nod to the famous scene in The Wire where McNulty and Bunk only say the word “fuck” when arriving and investigating a crime scene. In this movie for younger audiences, Gwen and Miles just say “shoot” repeatedly

I knew what was going on as soon as I saw "Earth 42". I was like that's where the spider is from!! Miles is from 1610. The Prowler twist definitely caught me off guard. I also feel like Miguel is hiding something else too. All those villains in 2099 but none of them seem to affect the Canon in their perspective universe?
Spot being hit by the bagel could also be a 'Everything, Everywhere, All at Once' reference with the bagel with everything on it causing the downfall of the multiverse in that movie
I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it Saturday morning and needed a few days plus a couple of Charlie videos to really absorb and appreciate all the greatness I experienced. The artwork, graphics, look of the film left me speechless. It is so well done. I loved the way Gwen is fleshed out in this film. The voice acting is exceptional. The story is great and you get completely drawn into the world of all these characters. These two Miles films along with NWH are just perfect in my book. Miles in his universe along with his alter ego in 42 are night and day. The 42 universe is amazing. A hard Miles with braids who is the Prowler, his uncle is alive, his mom, and his dad being dead. Heartbreaking. Makes me think how J Jonah always ridiculed and vilified Spidey but how hollow and empty a universe is without him. I could go on but this film was satisfying and I cannot wait for the sequel. I always loved the Miles character in the comics and these films have done him justice. Great job Sony and Marvel!!!!!
"All Of It Always All Over The Place" was also a reference to the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. It's rather fitting, since both that movie and Across the Spider-Verse involve the multiverse... and a bagel.
SM 2099 is unfairly taking out his anger on Miles because of his own guilt. The guilt of messing up the timeline and causing it to collapse, and the the guilt of being the "bad guy" who has to watch every SM's loved ones died and preventing them from changing it. He blames Miles for his suffering from his own guilt.
I have seen this masterpiece 5 times and I CAN NOT get enough!!!! Every time the movie ends I just wanna yell "AGAIN!!!!" It LEGIT is the best sequel I have ever seen. PERIOD!!
My favorite easter egg was including Donald Glover's prowler! Totally forgot about him from the Homecoming film and its super cool to see why he's in this movie (plus Hobie brought him in - is there a reason for that?)
My favorite easter egg/cameo was definitely seeing my boy Last Stand Spider-Man. He's always had one of my favorite designs. I also like that looking back at the poster now, it foreshadows who supports Miles and who doesn't, and possibly who may come around in the future. My one gripe is as much as I love Ben being portrayed like the little edgelord that he is, I feel like if anyone would sympathize with Miles and stand up to Miguel, especially after what Miguel said on the train, it would be Ben, and i don't think he would have stuck by him after that.
49:25 the spider-woman in a wheelchair is called Sunspider! They had a competition in the comics a while back where fans designed and submitted their own spiderverse characters, and she’s the design that won and got her own comic!
the easter egg of miguel walking into miles' original universe and it being shot in the same way as the "sad spiderman walk" meme was probably the most subtle but hilarious one in the movie. I get that the scene was serious but noticing that made me take it a bit less serious

I hope we actually do get a live action version if 2099 Spider-Man ever since shattered dimensions came out on PS3 and Xbox 360 I’ve been interested in seeing how he’s story begins like everyone else and his abilities compared to other Spider-Men he probably has to be in my top five favorite Spider-Man characters 💯

I don't understand that why was there a problem in Miguel's new universe (with his new family) and why was there no problem with Gwen's universe. What is the difference? 3. It would be awesome, if the 3rd pard showed us a Spider Man from a live action movie, like Tom Holland, as part of Gwen's group.

I just saw the movie yesterday. WOW!! Phenomenal and insane!! I’m now very curious how the hell Beyond the Spider verse will top the first and 2nd movie!! Across the spider verse is DEFINITELY the most ambitious and insane animated movie I have EVER seen!!! All of the connections/ cameos from Venom, Donald Glover’s MCU Prowler, Tobey Maguire’s Spider man and Andrew Garfield’s spider man made me love the movie even more!!! I lost my mind especially of the movie acknowledging Tobey and Andrew’s spider-men!! So nuts and so fucking cool!! I’m so freaking excited and interested for the MCU’s future and Sony’s future as well!! So many possibilities for cross overs!! Especially for Secret Wars!! It would be so so cool and nuts to see some of the spider man variants from these movies in live action form!! The story of the movie felt so well done!! It was really grounded with all the different elements which also blended really well into the whole part of Miles traveling across the spider verse!! The visuals and soundtrack were on a completely new level beyond the first movie!!! It was super cool and fun to see all the different spider man variants!! I absolutely can not wait for beyond the spider verse next year!!!
I’ve never seen an animation that had me glued on my seat for a while and honestly this movie was so good, that I will definitely be watching it more than once. If they make the final one just as a good as this one, I think we’ve witnessed one of the greatest animation trilogy’s of all time. Loved it
I havent seen anyone say this yet but as I watched the movie and the characters kept referring to "canon" I read the black void they used when the canon was messed up is actually a plot hole being created, except they haven't called it that yet.

I have a theory that all the spider society is actually Miguel covering up his mistake, he did the daughter thing, broke the universe, and he has been trying to patch it up for years, but the problems keep escalating, he needs more help, so he recruits more people, and all of it is to fix his one big mistake.
38:16 and you point out a red and blue next a black. I think the one you call a black suit is the Spider-Man from the Bullet Points comic. "Spider-Cop" is from Universe X after he slims down, not the Spider-Cop you are thinking of. "Female Spider-UK" is from the comic, this is a variation on the costume like with India. "Glowing Yellow and Black suit" as you call it is Poison Spider-man from Venomverse, I think. The Spider-Mobile was created by Gerry Conway and Ross Andru, not Stan Lee. In the first walk through of the prison I think who think is Kingpin is one of the Enforcers, possibly Montana. The thin Doctor Octopus you think is from PS4 is from Gwen's world and was in Into The Spider-Verse. She fought him while being first pulled through a portal. 43:23 is very popular villain named Videoman from the Amazing Friends cartoon. When Miles meets Spider-Byte behind them looks like Gog to me. In the last cage you can see Big Wheel. There are bunch of props to find as the characters enter 2099's lair set up as trophies like the Batcave. In the room where Hobbie swipes a watch I barely made out most other than a Doc Ock tentacle and a goblin glider (comic book version). The ring they walk through is "something" to figure out.. Starting from "The Intervention" The Captain (Flash) appears behind Miles when he says "Is that why you're here? To let me down easy?" Julia Carpenter appears momentarily on the left behind Miles right after Spectacular gives his speech and Miles says to Peter "Stop calling me that". As the chase begins and Peter says "This is bad parenting" we get very clear views of many like Bag-Man, Superior, The Captain, Spidercide and more. House Of M is third to last running to the left of Hobbie right before Superior as he portals out. Three pointing at each other is the left Disney XD 2017? Two frames from that Prince of Arachne for Fairy Tales is in the background and Julia can be seen again from behind. After SM 2211 turns around in the bottom right there is a tiny chibi one and to the left the is one wearing a snow suit holding a hockey stick. Hanging upside down in the center of the turnaround scene is Arácnido, Jr. Chibi drops down behind him on a web followed by many others. The Spider from Exiles appears to be to left among the batch that chases Miles after escaping the T-Rex Hockey stick in snowsuit, Spinneret, Julia, Web-Slinger and Widow, monkey among others are casual dining in the cafeteria (despite many already being in pursuit of Miles). Among therapist SM's office décor is a a golden Spider-man head bust and there is a spider shaped Rorschach test hanging on the wall. Above the test is a hanging Spider Plant. As 2099 leads chase past the prison cells there are many Easter eggs. Just some I caught in frame by frame are Screwball, Hypno-Hustler and someone is mooning them and grabbing his buttocks. This background anim is recycled in the second run through with the werewolf in it. Sun-Spider is the disabled character and is voice by disabled actress Danielle Perez. Kaine is seen from behind as we enter the in Strength + Conditioning Center. A Spidercide is hold up with his legs. The villain holograms are Rhino, Kraven, Doctor Octopus, Electro and Green Goblin. Miles followed by everyone in chase runs across a chasm held up by Marvel vs Capcom Spider-man. A quick two Easter Eggs in the scenes where they all go home in Peter's home Mary Jane is drinking from a Spider-Man mug, stands up and walks past their wedding photos on one wall and a picture of Aunt May on the next. Baby Mayday's pajamas have Spider-Pig printed on them. Altverse Uncle Aaron scene. In Into The Spider-Verse we were introduced to Aaron turning on the record in the exact way as he does here, then the scene moves reverse with Aaron walking toward the hanging pots and pans and over to Miles practicing with the punching bag. Later in Into The Spider-Verse when Aaron finds out Miles identity he begins strangling him. Miles says "Please, Uncle Aaron." exactly as he does in this movie. I can name many of these by looking at Spider-Geddon and the Handbook, which much is drawn from here as Into drew from Spider-Verse. Including the chase scene appears to be (they were coming for the Inheritors instead of Miles in the comic). Spider-girl MC2 has a LOT of variants in the comics, those are most that you think are "female versions of Peter", I recognize most the designs. But yeah, review Spider-Geddon and the Handbook for that and figure most of them out.
This is an easter movie of all easter egg movies for real, can't imagine what Secret wars is gonna blow up like, after watching this it honestly feel like earth 42 Miles is gonna be the main big bad of the sequel.

Maybe I just missed it, but I didn't see/notice any reference to Nicholas Hammond's Amazing Spider-Man. Hammond was the second live-action Spider-Man (if you count the version from the PBS kids show The Electric Company, where he was played by Danny Seagren). Hammond's show only lasted 12 episodes over 2 seasons (or 13 if you count the 2-hour premier as 2 episodes). But until the Tobey McGuire Spider-Man movie, Nicholas Hammond was the only live-action Spider-Man people might be able to catch on TV as those episodes were repackaged as movies for syndication and international releases. I really think they should have had a reference to his version. Heck, they should do the Electric Company version too. I'm 55 now and was the perfect age to watch Spider-Man on the Electric Company and in his 1977 CBS show. But the best version was the 1960s animated series. Unfortunately, the voice of Spider-Man from that series (as well as the pizza guy from The Incredible Hulk), Paul Soles, passed away last year. Nicholas Hammond is still with us, and I think he deserves a cameo.

Charlie, I also want Andrew Garfield to continue playing peter parker in the sony's spiderman apart from Tom Holland's version of MCU spiderman....it'd be totally complete vindication for his version of the character to get further development. Rogue Theory: what if they make Tobey Maguire's version of Spiderman be the live action version of Peter B. Parker from the Spiderverse trilogy movies...that would be really cool....it'd be a good tie-in to the final conversation between Doc Ock and Tobey's Spidey about growing up and getting his life together...Peter B. Parker did say himself that he's 43-year old spiderman and has had that job for around 22 years totally could make sense!!! Also imagine if the president/ceo of Alchemax is an alternate older version of Peter Parker from Spiderman 2099/Miguel O'Hara's future....like in the video game Spiderman: edge of time.
The spider-woman in the wheelchair is actually from the comics, she's called Sun-Spider and was in that edge of spider-verse comic run almost a year ago.
Small correction to the sneaker thing …which in the movie was a small detail in the end but also cool. The sneaker he wears throughout the movie is just a regular jordan Chicago 1. (They released a version for the first movie). The one that is pictured in the vid is the second version released for this movie the “glitched”. In the end when he’s in the alt universe there is a precursor that he’s in the wrong universe. As he’s walking up the stairs to the roof with his uncle his reg jordan one turns into the glitched version the one pictured in this video.

I JUST HAD AN EPIPHANY Every single spider-man is suppose to lose 2 close people; the “character development” death, and then the “you can’t save everyone” death. and every single spiderman is supposed to lose a 3rd not so close person that’s not important to the spiderman arc. who did Tobey Maguire lose? 1. Uncle Ben (spiderman) 2. Harry Osborn (spiderman 3) 3. Norman Osborn(spiderman) who did Andrew Garfield lose? 1. Uncle Ben (TASM) 2. Gwen Stacy (TASM 2) 3. Tony Stark (Avengers Endgame) my point is MJ (Zendaya) was suppose to die in NWH but then was saved by Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman. A Spiderman outside Tom Hollands Universe. That’s why the sky ripped itself into different portals; because just like the indian spider-man’s universe in the “across the spiderverse” movie, there were dimensions opening up in the ground. I didn’t think they could top the first movie with the animation but they completely blew it out the water. We were literally watching a comic book. Every cut was a different form of animation and it worked. True artist talent and time/attention to detail at work with this movie.

They foreshadowed the "wrong dimension" twist at the end so well. From Miles' mom saying "What happened to your hair?" to Miles' room being different (boxing gloves on the wall and different family photos), to his mom acting surprised about her own speech she gave her son earlier. Even the city was looking different when Miles landed. Only when Mile's mom said "Who's Spiderman?" it hit me to realize that Miles ended up in the dimension with no Spiderman that 2099 talked about earlier. That realization kicked in HARD.

Spider-Punk was by far my favorite part of that movie. When he first showed up in the film they made it seem like he was going to be a throw away sort of character but he played a pretty big role and I loved it.

Man, I just watched this movie and the ending had the audience angry. To me it’s a good sign because that tells me everyone was invested in the story and they were upset it ended with a cliff hanger.
I was so happy that not only did they show Spectacular Spider-Man more than once, but also they gave him a speaking line too!! He’s one of my favorite Spider-Man cartoons and I hope they give his series a revival for a season three.
And the best thing: it’s the original voice actor!

I did see most of the easter eggs but the Alfred Molina archival voiced combined with the classic comic look of Doctor Otto Octavious was so good. This movie really showed that all the other universes are canon and can crossover to the main MCU timeline.
Man this movie is so awesome. Weve seen it 3 times now and still noticed so many things that we missed the first 2. But I loved the last 30 mins or so of the movie. The Prowler scenes were so great you can almost feel how he happy to see his uncle, then scared, then confused, then scared and it all just felt real almost

As always great breakdown. Punk Spiderman was absolutely my favorite loved how he took tech from HQ to make the timepiece for Gwen. He was the one that got to know her and knew she would rebel against Spider-Man 2099.
I have to say my favorite Cameo is Donald glovers prowler I also love how they put the spectacular spider man in it I really like how they fixed the plot hole with Michael Keaton's vulture being in the morbius universe this movie was just visually epic great character development and character arch's thank you for your content I never miss a video
Both of the things you mentioned I also loved. Donald Glover basically inspired Miles it felt right. I think I heard Spectacular Spider-Man talk right after they showed him in the top right alongside with Tobey's spiderman uncle Ben death scene.
This movie was nothing short of a COMPLETE MASTERPIECE. I have seen it 4 times now and it still has such a strong and endearing hold on me. No movie I've ever seen has impacted me so deeply. I will never tire of seeing this trilogy

I think the opening dialog from Gwen is the pitch meeting she is giving to reclute the other Spidermen at the end of the movie.
Notice how this monologue is built around:
- Belonging to a band
- How Gwen and Miles have both tragic pasts
- The cannon can be changed ("this time it's different")
We hear the ending of that dialog at the end of the movie when she asks "Do you want to join?"

I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it Saturday morning and needed a few days plus a couple of Charlie videos to really absorb and appreciate all the greatness I experienced. The artwork, graphics, look of the film left me speechless. It is so well done. I loved the way Gwen is fleshed out in this film. The voice acting is exceptional. The story is great and you get completely drawn into the world of all these characters. These two Miles films along with NWH are just perfect in my book. Miles in his universe along with his alter ego in 42 are night and day. The 42 universe is amazing. A hard Miles with braids who is the Prowler, his uncle is alive, his mom, and his dad being dead. Heartbreaking. Makes me think how J Jonah always ridiculed and vilified Spidey but how hollow and empty a universe is without him. I could go on but this film was satisfying and I cannot wait for the sequel. I always loved the Miles character in the comics and these films have done him justice. Great job Sony and Marvel!!!!!

SM 2099 is unfairly taking out his anger on Miles because of his own guilt. The guilt of messing up the timeline and causing it to collapse, and the the guilt of being the "bad guy" who has to watch every SM's loved ones died and preventing them from changing it. He blames Miles for his suffering from his own guilt.
I have seen this masterpiece 5 times and I CAN NOT get enough!!!! Every time the movie ends I just wanna yell "AGAIN!!!!" It LEGIT is the best sequel I have ever seen. PERIOD!!
My favorite easter egg was including Donald Glover's prowler! Totally forgot about him from the Homecoming film and its super cool to see why he's in this movie (plus Hobie brought him in - is there a reason for that?)
My favorite easter egg/cameo was definitely seeing my boy Last Stand Spider-Man. He's always had one of my favorite designs. I also like that looking back at the poster now, it foreshadows who supports Miles and who doesn't, and possibly who may come around in the future. My one gripe is as much as I love Ben being portrayed like the little edgelord that he is, I feel like if anyone would sympathize with Miles and stand up to Miguel, especially after what Miguel said on the train, it would be Ben, and i don't think he would have stuck by him after that.

49:25 the spider-woman in a wheelchair is called Sunspider! They had a competition in the comics a while back where fans designed and submitted their own spiderverse characters, and she’s the design that won and got her own comic!
the easter egg of miguel walking into miles' original universe and it being shot in the same way as the "sad spiderman walk" meme was probably the most subtle but hilarious one in the movie. I get that the scene was serious but noticing that made me take it a bit less serious

I just saw the movie yesterday. WOW!! Phenomenal and insane!! I’m now very curious how the hell Beyond the Spider verse will top the first and 2nd movie!! Across the spider verse is DEFINITELY the most ambitious and insane animated movie I have EVER seen!!! All of the connections/ cameos from Venom, Donald Glover’s MCU Prowler, Tobey Maguire’s Spider man and Andrew Garfield’s spider man made me love the movie even more!!! I lost my mind especially of the movie acknowledging Tobey and Andrew’s spider-men!! So nuts and so fucking cool!! I’m so freaking excited and interested for the MCU’s future and Sony’s future as well!! So many possibilities for cross overs!! Especially for Secret Wars!! It would be so so cool and nuts to see some of the spider man variants from these movies in live action form!! The story of the movie felt so well done!! It was really grounded with all the different elements which also blended really well into the whole part of Miles traveling across the spider verse!! The visuals and soundtrack were on a completely new level beyond the first movie!!! It was super cool and fun to see all the different spider man variants!! I absolutely can not wait for beyond the spider verse next year!!!

I have a theory that all the spider society is actually Miguel covering up his mistake, he did the daughter thing, broke the universe, and he has been trying to patch it up for years, but the problems keep escalating, he needs more help, so he recruits more people, and all of it is to fix his one big mistake.

"Spider-Cop" is from Universe X after he slims down, not the Spider-Cop you are thinking of. "Female Spider-UK" is from the comic, this is a variation on the costume like with India. "Glowing Yellow and Black suit" as you call it is Poison Spider-man from Venomverse, I think. The Spider-Mobile was created by Gerry Conway and Ross Andru, not Stan Lee.
In the first walk through of the prison I think who think is Kingpin is one of the Enforcers, possibly Montana. The thin Doctor Octopus you think is from PS4 is from Gwen's world and was in Into The Spider-Verse. She fought him while being first pulled through a portal. 43:23 is very popular villain named Videoman from the Amazing Friends cartoon. When Miles meets Spider-Byte behind them looks like Gog to me. In the last cage you can see Big Wheel.
There are bunch of props to find as the characters enter 2099's lair set up as trophies like the Batcave. In the room where Hobbie swipes a watch I barely made out most other than a Doc Ock tentacle and a goblin glider (comic book version). The ring they walk through is "something" to figure out..
Starting from "The Intervention" The Captain (Flash) appears behind Miles when he says "Is that why you're here? To let me down easy?" Julia Carpenter appears momentarily on the left behind Miles right after Spectacular gives his speech and Miles says to Peter "Stop calling me that". As the chase begins and Peter says "This is bad parenting" we get very clear views of many like Bag-Man, Superior, The Captain, Spidercide and more. House Of M is third to last running to the left of Hobbie right before Superior as he portals out. Three pointing at each other is the left Disney XD 2017? Two frames from that Prince of Arachne for Fairy Tales is in the background and Julia can be seen again from behind. After SM 2211 turns around in the bottom right there is a tiny chibi one and to the left the is one wearing a snow suit holding a hockey stick. Hanging upside down in the center of the turnaround scene is Arácnido, Jr. Chibi drops down behind him on a web followed by many others. The Spider from Exiles appears to be to left among the batch that chases Miles after escaping the T-Rex Hockey stick in snowsuit, Spinneret, Julia, Web-Slinger and Widow, monkey among others are casual dining in the cafeteria (despite many already being in pursuit of Miles).
Among therapist SM's office décor is a a golden Spider-man head bust and there is a spider shaped Rorschach test hanging on the wall. Above the test is a hanging Spider Plant.
As 2099 leads chase past the prison cells there are many Easter eggs. Just some I caught in frame by frame are Screwball, Hypno-Hustler and someone is mooning them and grabbing his buttocks. This background anim is recycled in the second run through with the werewolf in it. Sun-Spider is the disabled character and is voice by disabled actress Danielle Perez. Kaine is seen from behind as we enter the in Strength + Conditioning Center. A Spidercide is hold up with his legs. The villain holograms are Rhino, Kraven, Doctor Octopus, Electro and Green Goblin. Miles followed by everyone in chase runs across a chasm held up by Marvel vs Capcom Spider-man.
A quick two Easter Eggs in the scenes where they all go home in Peter's home Mary Jane is drinking from a Spider-Man mug, stands up and walks past their wedding photos on one wall and a picture of Aunt May on the next. Baby Mayday's pajamas have Spider-Pig printed on them.
Altverse Uncle Aaron scene. In Into The Spider-Verse we were introduced to Aaron turning on the record in the exact way as he does here, then the scene moves reverse with Aaron walking toward the hanging pots and pans and over to Miles practicing with the punching bag. Later in Into The Spider-Verse when Aaron finds out Miles identity he begins strangling him. Miles says "Please, Uncle Aaron." exactly as he does in this movie.
I can name many of these by looking at Spider-Geddon and the Handbook, which much is drawn from here as Into drew from Spider-Verse. Including the chase scene appears to be (they were coming for the Inheritors instead of Miles in the comic). Spider-girl MC2 has a LOT of variants in the comics, those are most that you think are "female versions of Peter", I recognize most the designs. But yeah, review Spider-Geddon and the Handbook for that and figure most of them out.
This is an easter movie of all easter egg movies for real, can't imagine what Secret wars is gonna blow up like, after watching this it honestly feel like earth 42 Miles is gonna be the main big bad of the sequel.
He will be a level boss. Spot is still the Big Bad.
@@rmhartman Right, but there's something about earth 42 miles that makes him look and sound like he's not to be messed with not to mention the evil he's got in him whereas Spot is evolving but he still got that light-hearted side in him.
Maybe I just missed it, but I didn't see/notice any reference to Nicholas Hammond's Amazing Spider-Man. Hammond was the second live-action Spider-Man (if you count the version from the PBS kids show The Electric Company, where he was played by Danny Seagren). Hammond's show only lasted 12 episodes over 2 seasons (or 13 if you count the 2-hour premier as 2 episodes). But until the Tobey McGuire Spider-Man movie, Nicholas Hammond was the only live-action Spider-Man people might be able to catch on TV as those episodes were repackaged as movies for syndication and international releases. I really think they should have had a reference to his version. Heck, they should do the Electric Company version too. I'm 55 now and was the perfect age to watch Spider-Man on the Electric Company and in his 1977 CBS show. But the best version was the 1960s animated series. Unfortunately, the voice of Spider-Man from that series (as well as the pizza guy from The Incredible Hulk), Paul Soles, passed away last year. Nicholas Hammond is still with us, and I think he deserves a cameo.
I think Miles will get desperate enough to want to trade his spider powers for his dad's life.
Absolute masterpiece...we all thought seeing 3 spiderman on screen in no way home was amazing but this film featured all the spidermen!! Straight fire!!
The Lego scene being animated by a 14 year old is absolutely crazy and fantastic
24:35 I’m pretty sure Ganke is playing Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2. If you look back at the footage, you can see the gadget wheels shown in the Spider-Man 2 gameplay reveal. You can also see Peter’s iron legs.
Damn good movie huh man. Gave me all the feels. Besides the ending. But still already can't wait for part two like a damn addict.

Charlie, I also want Andrew Garfield to continue playing peter parker in the sony's spiderman apart from Tom Holland's version of MCU spiderman....it'd be totally complete vindication for his version of the character to get further development.
Rogue Theory: what if they make Tobey Maguire's version of Spiderman be the live action version of Peter B. Parker from the Spiderverse trilogy movies...that would be really cool....it'd be a good tie-in to the final conversation between Doc Ock and Tobey's Spidey about growing up and getting his life together...Peter B. Parker did say himself that he's 43-year old spiderman and has had that job for around 22 years totally could make sense!!!
Also imagine if the president/ceo of Alchemax is an alternate older version of Peter Parker from Spiderman 2099/Miguel O'Hara's future....like in the video game Spiderman: edge of time.
The spider-woman in the wheelchair is actually from the comics, she's called Sun-Spider and was in that edge of spider-verse comic run almost a year ago.
Small correction to the sneaker thing …which in the movie was a small detail in the end but also cool. The sneaker he wears throughout the movie is just a regular jordan Chicago 1. (They released a version for the first movie). The one that is pictured in the vid is the second version released for this movie the “glitched”. In the end when he’s in the alt universe there is a precursor that he’s in the wrong universe. As he’s walking up the stairs to the roof with his uncle his reg jordan one turns into the glitched version the one pictured in this video.
32:36: “all of it always all over the place” billboard actually references the movie “Everything Everywhere All At Once” including the bagel picture.

Every single spider-man is suppose to lose 2 close people; the “character development” death, and then the “you can’t save everyone” death. and every single spiderman is supposed to lose a 3rd not so close person that’s not important to the spiderman arc.

That’s why the sky ripped itself into different portals; because just like the indian spider-man’s universe in the “across the spiderverse” movie, there were dimensions opening up in the ground.

Idk if anyone else noticed this or not but the cameo of Insom's Spider-Man ( 43:29 ) is actually in his new Advanced Suit in Spider-Man 2 Game, also he has a wrist watch, which kind of suggests that this movie might pick him up from his earth after the events Spider-Man 2.
