The GMC all day. Forgot to mention me and the wife have slept in the back of my 2020 Silverado dually folded the back seats up I don’t have that storage cubby so I get the complete floor in the backseat just put down blankets for the slight hump it really wasn’t that bad I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
Personally I think the GM HD Duramax truck it a more refined vehicle. The powertrain is smooth and works well together. That 10 speed is butter and I think you'll be impressed when pulling with it.
I prefer three different movements in the cabin and get different spaces. Whether for work o recreative, i love 100 % versatility with ram megacab. Only I wish 8 foot box!
I would love to have a megacab RAM 3500 Cummins, but I don't have $100K laying around, plus an additional "rainy day $25K" for emergency maintenance purposes, if the situations would arise.
@@XploreAz they wont. The reason Ram HD still use the old Cab is because they are built in México along with the Ram 1500 Classic. Which both use the gen 4 cab. The gen 5 1500 is built in Michigan
Nice side by side comparison. It's hard to show on video just how much stuff you can put behind the seat in the Mega. I have a tool box, air compressor, a bubba rope, jumper cables, Ratchet straps, moving blanket, bug out bag with food and water. various rope and gloves etc. Under the seat is reserved for more temporary things for the rear passengers and the dogs things. Over the past 5 years I have slept in the Mega cab 15-20 times and I can lay flat out if I angle just a bit, I am 6'0". I never seen the Mega cab as a feature to attract buyers from other makes but if Ram is on your radar and you don't have to have the long bed the Mega is worth a look. That being said I'll probably go for a long bed my next truck because the kids don't ride with us as much and I prefer not to have that huge slider hitch the older I get.
Good stuff, like you mentioned the mega has so much space inside the cab that if you switch trucks you will literally have no place to put your stuff lol! For me it was shocking how much stuff I couldn’t get inside this GMC 👍🏾

@@jeraldhogan not stupid, depends what your needs are. I’m getting a mega cab because of the back seat room I have a lot of sitting and waiting on my job and it’s good to take naps back there

Need advice!!! I have a mega cab 6 passenger. What 3/4 ton has the most room in the front middle seat. We travel with 6 but my son is growing and the front middle seat is now uncomfortable. I don’t like Fords but might consider.
Great videos, keep them coming. Is the room in the Super Duty more comparable to the Ram or GMC? To me without actually sitting in it, the Ford looks like it would be comfortable as well. Any thoughts?
Thanks Brian, a lot of people complain about the seats in the GM’s stating they are stiff although I think the ride makes up for it. Ford still uses a solid front axle so GM will feel more comfortable on the road. I think the GM feels bigger but maybe I can do this same video against a ford at some point 👍🏾
Nice video. So here’s my thoughts. 1) clean your truck! My goodness. 2) you don’t have to pay extra for the GM crew cab. You buy a crew cab and you have that space unlike with Ram. 3) where we as owners of these trucks do spend our time, the GM is WAY ahead of Ram and Ford for that matter. GM gives more seat travel for the front and it’s not even close (5” more room I think than what Ford list). 4) having a fold up rear seat is much more convenient than the way the Mega Cab set up is. I was able to put a full size microwave oven behind my driver seat adjusted for how I set (I’m 6’3) and all I had to do was flip the rear seat up. That’s not an option for Ram. 5) that was a nice Ram truck. And that’s how I’d wanted one if I was buying a Ram. I think that particular dash setup is way better than the 12” screen version. It does need dual zone climate however.
Lol! Yea my truck is dirty but I cleaned it this past week so it looks a whole lot better. Second point I agree with you on, MegaCab is expensive but 4WD is standard 👀 Third point, the front seat is clearly bigger in the GM for sure! Fourth point, I disagree fold down seat is way better and the storage space in the rear is no comparison, thanks bro 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork lol. Good. I hope you took that sticker off too from the glove box! That has been driving me nuts! Lol. My fourth point I should clarify that is not available for the mega cab. I think the Ram crew cab does have a fold up seat. My first truck I ever bought had a fold down seat (2006 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab) and I very much prefer the fold up seat. But that probably is a personal preference type thing. It is however easier to haul big things in the rear with a fold up seat. But you do have a truck bed so there’s that.
@@matthewanderson9912 yeah honestly it all depends what you use it for. I’m going for a mega cab end of year or new year, reason been is I drive a lot for productions in motion pictures. I bought the Mega Cab because we travel with our two 90# dogs. There is no way they co❤use travel in the rear of the Jimmy without having to manufacture a flat floor for them. It’s too bad because I was a GMC Denali owner until we bought our 5th wheel. I hope the RAM updates their cabin by the time I buy my next one.
I have 2 148lb rotties and they fit great in the denali back area. Big dogs could ever get on top of the folded down ram seats and if they could they would be too tall. The pups is why I purchased the gmc

In a interior there are a few things that are huge. One: Power Pedals, Two: Power steering Col Adjust, up and down and in an out. This gives you room away from the Air Bag in case of deployment. Three: Power seats that have multiple adjustments, Usually like 11 ways or 8 way adjust. I think what gives you a better understanding, is the inside dimensions of the interior (Model Spec's). A person needs to sit in a vehicle and play with all the adjustments before he buys a certain model. Plus in this comparison your not doing peaches to peaches. So I don't really think this is a good analysis of interior space. Just my take on it, no offense meant.
