Do you recall when Queens, BY had a sound which was developed by Nas, Prodigy & Havic of Mobb Deep, Capone & Nore and others? #prodigy #nas #theeezeexperience
Prodigy was in pain his whole life. You could hear it in his raps. I personally can't recall a lighthearted verse from P. He had presence, and a real love for the streets and his adopted hood.
@@fansmx4-hd7dw like after Mobb Deep signed with G-UNIT? Yep the queens bridge project by the higher ups who own the music industry. They choose certain ppl for a reason and to have certain principalities in certain places.
I had the honor to meet Prodigy in 2007. I saw him on 125th StNear Victoria V Movie Theater. I Said Peace Prodigy .He Looked Up Pleasantly Surprised and said Peace To My Mother & I . He was with his family wife and children. One of my Favorite songs is Eye For An Eye. Prodigy and My Father Share the same birthday. Prodigy Is Remembered In Perfection !!!🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Same that made hip hop so amazing and unique every region had their own slang sound and style from east west midwest and dirty south sadly is not like that now.

Nas, Havoc, Cormega, 50, Nore,we’re all dope queens MCs but Prodigy just had that grimy sound that set him apart. He wasn’t the best lyrically but his voice, his accent, the presence, sound good on every beat
P definitely had presence. He was the most relatable mc I ever heard. His newer stuff was so good. Aged like fine wine. I can’t believe dude is no longer with us.
Prodigy is my all time favorite rapper, nothing beats that infamous grimey Mobb Deep sound. Queens had so many other great rappers too like Nas, Nore, Tragedy Khadafi, Cormega, Big Noyd, AZ, even G-Unit.
P was an Alien 👽.. Nobody ever been able to spit 4 Barz where almost none of it Rhyme but the Vical Tone, Presence along with the Wording and Content still made it 🔥Fly... Queens Get the Money and they always had a Specific Sound.. Even the Cats that Never did drop Albums... I'm a long time Fan of Queens Emcees and when it Comes to The Don I've got a Connection witem and also a Pretty Kool Nas Story of my Own Ima Share on here one day...
That’s a fact I’ve been listening to Mobb Deep for 20 years and only in maybe the last 3 years did I even peep that. P’s bars didn’t even rhyme but you were so pulled in that you didn’t even notice. Look at his bars on Survival of The Fittest, the opening bars don’t rhyme, then he rhymes a few bars, then goes back to not rhyming. It’s crazy I only peeped it years later. His presence on a record was.. weird. In a good way. Very unique cat.
