Love the work you guys do and keeping the old tractors going with new technologies incorporated into them. Hey by any chance do you have an old grade laser you don't use anymore you'd be willing to sell me? I'm trying to get out on my own and can't afford a topcon or spectra at the moment. I can send you cash or PayPal or zelle app and if you're interested I have a new Milwaukee M12 drill/hammer drill with a new 2.0 battery I got 2 weeks ago as part of a kit I can send you along with some money. God bless you, your families and farm.
My gmail is heyyman420 if you wish to contact me. The 420 is because my birthday is 4/23 and that email name wasn't available with 423 at the end, I do not endorse the use of marijuana.

Been watching your family farm operation for a couple of years now. I marvel at the change of seasons, how defined they are and how fast they go. It only feels like yesterday I was watching you plant the 2020 crop. Down under we have our seasons but they all seem to merg together the calendar dictates the season more than the weather. Keep safe.

To take the wheels off easier. Got a piece of pipe that fits over the hub of the packer wheel. Welded one end shut with three 5/8 fine nuts welded together welded to that plate. partially weld the pipe to the packer wheel hub. weld a nut to one end of the 5/8 grade 8 ready rod. start heating the hub on the packer wheel. I used a 3/4 in impact a little at a time. pulls them wheels right off. . When you get it off take the torch and carefully cut the weld and grind off the shaft to clean it up a bit. Did a 45 foot 5000 by myself in a day and 1/2. Works sweet. Mark

The Buds really are something special. I love the old school cool of them and they are just beasts for what they do. Even more impressive is you guys have them set up for things that didn't exist except perhaps in the mind of some guy way back when. Love those tractors. I've not done any farming for many years. All of the farm work I did was " Hey! you are a big old boy. I've got 12 or 1300 bales of hay to do. Or, We have a couple hundred acres of tobacco we need to get into the barn today. Or, we have a few hundred acres of sugar cane to get to the mill". I haven't wanted to do much in the way of farming for a long time. I'm 40 now and sheesh the amount of time I've spent dropping tobacco sticks or on the hay wagon have beat me to pieces. You guys have it figured out. Fun to see how you do things and crud I would leave south central KY in a minute to help you guys just for the experience.

With the relatively small acreage, usually separated, down here in central Louisiana, seeing that setup for planting is quite impressive. Farmers around are basically split between John Deere & Case IH with just old school planters where you physically pour the seed in. Seeing the air and planting setup is sweet. Those Big Buds definitely handle it nicely.

Great planter setup. Seeding directly into the undisturbed last harvest stubble. No loss of organic matter or soils due to heavy rains runoff of winds blowing tilled stubble away 50 miles. Also, soil is sealed preventing any moisture loss during dry low humidity winds
Is your soil mainly ancient volcanic dust from the Rockies volcanic activity eons ago or ground up Canadian Shield granite rocks dust from the Ice Ages?
Need to put in an insulated heated koi tank, part under house with glass floor. Can watch them all winter swimming under bare feet. Grandkids feed the koi in the house.

Love your work although Koby is my favourite member of the Welker family! :) I'm not from the land myself, and I'm really interested in understanding a bit more about why you chose the crops you do (weather?, yield?, price?) and also the paddock/crop rotation that you guys have to consider in order to get the best out of your land. Would love to hear more about the science and thinking behind your business (without giving away trade secrets), perhaps as you're going around seeding and spraying! Anyways, great work and really enjoy your channel. :)

If you pay attention to my advice you will thank me.. make a water trough, put the roller gang into it submerged in water for min 2 days take out and take apart.. trust me I know it works. I took 100's of them and Disc gangs apart. Water and air makes rust, and dirt makes like a packing, basically like Silicone affect, water turns dirt to soft mud and the rust soften so come apart so much easier. Try it am sure if you try it you will thank me.. PS I was who thought of it and tried it and worked so awesome I did it every time
