This tuned A6 bi-turbo diesel is much cooler than the current stock S6 TDI (C8) sold in Europe in my personal opinion.

As soon as I saw those ridiculous facelifts after this I started to cry on the inside. They just ruined it. Those latest facelifts look like a 19 year old's ricer. Completely ruined all the while class that the car had.

@@g_webb21 Not sure if they'd be making a right move with that. As fas as I know, most "younger audience" (that'd be interested in a ricer type of car) doesn't have 80k to spend on a car that costs at least $400-500 per month just to drive. I was gonna buy one and one for my dad too but this is just no longer it. Now I'll just be looking for the lowest mileage versions of the C7 generation.

Seeing the Mazda 3 struggling to pass you *AT 180 KM* is just incredible to see. I live in Canada. I can't wrap my head around that. I hope car enthusiasts make it clear to the German government that the Autobahn is a national treasure, and it should stay.
There's a 417kmh bugatti chiron run on TH-cam from the autobahn. The government talks about it, it's in the news. It will probably end the no speed limit policy

You must try it once. I drove from the south of France to Denmark at 230 km / h without stopping and that was amazing. If you drive at 190 km/h there is a lot of car behind you, and not young people... an old nice woman was behind me at 190 km/h.
I know what you mean, I lived in Canada for 21 years. I spent my summers in Eastern Europe and whenever I came back I was always swearing constantly at the idiotic driving.

My stock 2008 XC70 D5 peaks out at 205, i've tested it several times

@D G The XC70 rides higher and that affects aerodynamics more than people think.
THIS is german engineering. 2 turbos that harmonize together to eliminate turbo lag is simply a dream. Unfortunately, this is becoming a rarity. Audi has simply built an insane projectile.
Audi's 3.0 v6 diesel sound great. A5 B8 with 3.0 tdi had a real nice sound too, sounded like a petrol engine🙂🙂

I agree. And funny thing is, sooo many do this, I see it all the time. Expensive, fast car and 10 y old tires and usually they dont even know how old brake disks. Even youtubers with lots of money, Ferrari and ancient tires. SeenThroughGlass comes to mind amongst MANY. I think he had 14yold tires on his 360 and drove all around Europe. Nutcase. Scary and dangerous for others. Should be treated as drunk driving if he causes an accident.
Tho as you probabily know, most of companies todays use China for labour/products manuf. so this could be the same tires as the best, I dunno, Pirelli, only theyre called Xiuo.
And he uses it as the family car. I hope his girl wakes up and tells him to fix that car before they start hauling their kid in this death trap.
I was just about to leave the same comment. He spends money to give a car an extra 100bhp and 300nm but runs it on the cheapest tyres and useless brakes.
He should have kept it stock seeing as with all the extra power and torque it's slower than stock 😑

@@ChopStickZero thats why I told people I know to buy some Michelin because they make them in my city 🙌. + no don't worry they premium tire are not at all like Chinese cheap tire. Just watch the performance comparison on some website by car club like the Touring club Suisse or else.
@@spyder2001to keep it real this Audi spec o what ever u call it has probably the worst tires and brakes possible for a car that is this quick. Stock it comes with 326hp my Buddy has one and i have never seen an Audi quattro with such bad grip
Discount tyres on a car like this, doesn't make sense..
My theory is all that torque shreds through tyres on hard acceleration, so the owner probably went with cheap ones to replace them more often since maybe they accelerate hard more often than going top speed. But also 🤷♂️

I have this car 2012, mapped at 380hp I absolutely love it. Super smooth and powerful and just a beautiful car. This engine is amazing. And my fuel consumption is 6.2l/100km at 140km/h amazing

No power without control. Tyres are key to any performance car
Never cheap out on car tires, especially in powerful cars like this one, it's the only thing keeping you in touch with the ground...
Such a shame, it must be so much quicker with good and grippy tires, and feel so much safer

Never cheap out on your tires period. what ever you do your tires and breaks are the 2 most important components on any car.

this was great. As an A6 TDI owner, I approve of this. As a fan of good quality tyres, I totally agree...... leave the top speed run for later! The laugh from the backseat was most hilarious.

The other A6 BiTDI with 460hp had 3 times the amount of kilometers on the tacho though... It had probably at least one bad injector aswell. I have seen an A6 BiTDI tuned by the same tuner and that one did 100-200 in flat 12 seconds after correction first attempt.
Also bare in mind, the newer diesels tend to get hot. When they hit the EGT limiter it cuts fuel. To avoid that situation you have to shift before hitting the EGT limiter to maintain a quick acceleration.
I agree with you. And was the run done under exact the same conditions, jd engineering is a very good tuner.

Probably it’s just me but I’d rather run smaller wheels with better tyres than larger ones with questionable tyres..
Yup. Until this Saturday (in 2 days) had a 2008 Allroad 3.0 TDI - and had 16" winter and 17" summer tires (winter ones barely, barely fit - but with lots of rubber sidewalls are absolutely great) - and this saturday, if all is good, am buying a 2012 allroad with the same stock engine as in the video (230kW) - currently it has 18" and I'm like... meeeh.. Tbh the new one won't fit 16, minimum 17. Also tested one with 20" wheels - and it rode like crap. Why do people prioritize looks ahead of driving comfort bugs me.
R20 is a nice SUV size, cheap tires and rated for that family wagon weight. also if you have air ride, you can even lower it and it still drives smoother than most cars with 65 sidewall stock height, love it when you can plough trough speed bumps with /35 R20 tires, and it doesnt feel bad.
I've driven one of these stock. Didn't know it was a bi turbo so had abit of a shock when the second turbo kicked in haha
The S badging on the steering wheel is a fun aesthetic touch.
To launch these 3.0L V6 Audi's you need to turn off ESP, foot on break and then press the throttle! At 3k ish rpm you take your foot of the break and away we go! :-)
The sound is really nice, not a big fan of the loud turbo-whistling though. Still i've got a strange feeling something isn't quite right with the powerdelivery I think. I've seen some tuned 3.0 BiTDI at @400HP and they seemed to be more powerful. Does it feel almost 100hp more powerful than let's say a stock TDI Competition?

@@SajjieSajj exact same on my mom's A6 with Dunlop Sport MAXX gt's. Air suspension doesn't help in this case paired with garbage Chinese tires but that's typical Audi understeer and since it's quattro it's predestined
@@azeQify Its still just a A6, which is not made for sporty driving. A RS car will take corners like that at higher speed with no problem. Saying all Audis are predestined to understeer like that just because quattro is wrong.

I am curious how do you manage to get 12,4 100-200 ? My BMW F11 535d have pretty nuch same HP (we measured 358 hp on the weels) and 0-100 is 4,9-5 sec but 100-200 is 15 sec... Those 3 sec are a big difference...

Sound wise. I personally think the Volvo d5 2.4l lump, is the best sounding 'everyday' car. But those audi torque figures are double what Volvo can deliver. Fantastic cars and possibly my next choice.

The Stock A6 TDi with 313hp can get to over 270 km/h while crusing with around 45 MPG or 5L/100km. Just impressive!

In Germany we mostly have a limit of 30 or 50 kp/h in cities and a recommended speed of 130 kp/h on the autobahn, so it’s to make the numbers more conspicuous

I have 3.0 bitdi 2014 A6 Avant and says It amazing car for a diesel engine. Thr car has things that i would improve, very high weight, uphradeable brakes, mirrir caps sound at hig velocity, more options to configure air suspensión. But its a very good car. Forever use premium quality tires, i use Michelin piloto sport 4s or Michelin supersport. Never use chinese tires.

No it's not available in the A4, but performance (talking stock) is similar with the 280 something HP engine
