I do not care if the power claims of "my tuner" are toom high, the engine didn't last and I moved on. Love the DSD content a lot, keep up the good work guys. I have quit some bad experience with a tuned Biturbo TDI A6. It was done by a apperantly very respectable tuner, mounting the wagner FMIC, and replacing the airbox by a RS6 airbox (which is less restrictive). It got a custom tune delivering very solid numbers, 460hp/925Nm, speed limit was removed, so managed to put close to 300kmh on the odo several times commuting Amsterdam - Hamburg every week. The fun didn't last too long.On the Autobahn (unlimited speed) the engine seems to get overheated at Autobahn moderated speeds (200-220kmh), without showing any alarm, it just starts dumping coolant till it reaches minimum levels, and then the alarm comes. The coolant spill will initiate below the tank. If you increase the common rail pressure, another point of attention are the 6mm tension bolts that are holding down the injectors, they will fail in the end causing injectors to start leaking and in the end loosing them completely by being blown from their seats (again without alarm). On top of that, with the cone filter upgrade in the RS6 airbox, the car was eating MAF sensors, and with a MAF limb mode the car was unable to being driven. In the end I always carried a MAF sensor with me, which is luckily only a 125 euro piece that is nowhere to be found on stock.....and it always happened on Sunday nights too.... For me this was the moment I decided to leave Audi for what it is (having the 4th injector tensioner, and continuous overheating / coolant dumps inside the left wheel causing braking problems in the end, switched to ///M and never looked back. Keep up the good work and you very informative channel, but be aware of the problems when pushing these engines, mounting these massive FMICS in front of a radiator is in general not a good idea. I do believe the problems only surface at extended periods of 200+kmh therefore the upgrades it could work when driving and occasionally sprinting in any country other then Germany, however the 6mm tension bolts seem to remain the bottleneck even when in standard tune, so it would be great to develop a quick fix, which should be easy, but reassuring for your customers. Would like to see a vid on A4 2.0 tdi b8.5 sometime if possible but great content as always 👍🏻
Have you ever flowed the TDI cylinder heads or before and after dynoed a car after having the cylinder heads have been properly ported?
Yes many times, we can make a video one time!
@@DarksideDevelopments , I will look forward to it! In the mean time I will sacrifice at least ten pints of adult beverage each week to strengthen the magical inclination to make such a video and share it!
Could you maybe add water/meth injection before adding the hybrid turbo?
We are not on this car
Think the cooler is to big .
Maybe 25% bigger would give better power but higher intake temp .
I'm not sure about that
@@DarksideDevelopments are your coolers open ended or do they have direction fins in the cooler end pipes .
@@MA-ff5to They have fins on the intake side (Y)
Any reason why you went with Bentley wheels?
probably to fit over the huge disks
Got them for decent price!
That beep man🤣🤣
what do you think of the 3l I6 diesel engines from BMW? the B57, is it better than these TDI units, and are they tunable?
B57 seems good!
Where do you get the silicon air intake tip from?
Link for them is here - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/3-0-bitdi-audi-a6-a7-c7-platform-airbox-to-tip-silicone-hose.html
Ordered tip and filter thanks!
@@DarksideDevelopments is the tip smaller end the same on the non biturbo? I have the 3L tdi 245hp

All The btdi is the same? 313,320,326 (competition)? Same engine? I have a competition, stage 1 tuned, claimed to be 406 hp, 750 newton, thats bullshite then?
It's all just tuning, 313hp is an older engine but not really much of importance power wise. 406hp seems a lot
Seems abit much ye, the stage 1 is done by bsr, dont know if u heard about them, its in sweden, its not a custom ecu program, u get a little handdevice, stick it in the obd, and reprogram urself, made a whole lot of diffrence tho, to bad u guys are over seas🤣
@@tero8391 i have the same power(390hp, 820nm). It was a custom tune i had done. but the car is at the limit of fuel and turbo. EGTS go 800+ after 4kRPM, quickly hitting 1000c. so i never rev past 4k. i have had the Cat and DPF removed. sounds way better. I notice the gearbox is struggling on the stock TCU. im changing the oil every year and it seems burnt to me each time. interestingly i have no idea what EGP is or any of this with the simple log manifolds. I wonder how much work needs done to get any more power out of this car. manifolds? GT-30 upgrade? fuel pump and injectors? but replace with what? 2 CP3 pumps? lol. also the gearbox, can it really handle 1000nm+ for any length of time. its not the RS6 version its lesser rated to something like 750NM. I have an upgraded intercooler. average AIT of 25c and peak at 40c on long pulls. your high 12 second pass seems to be what i get too.
hello, i have one question: in croatia, police interceptors are stock a4 3.0 tdi, quatro ,single turbo and i doubt they tuned it illegally, because it can reach 263km/h. so they remove speed limiter(250), and should do some things more, question is what they changed , but it must be done by few clicks on laptop and without dyno test, because they have dozens of that cars and it woult take too long and too expensive
They might come from the factory like that, they have options we don't have access to!
@@DarksideDevelopments these cars are not for police made, they bought stock car and they modified it in some garage, illegally to spare some money on atests , so what is easiest tune they could made(speed limiter off, boost to max, what else?) because stock can not reach 263km/h
Where’s the follow up video? Keep checking but sad reacts only.
Soon, the next video is awaiting upload ;)
Now remove the DPF and straight pipe it. : )
WTF, why would you put Bentley cups on the wheels😂
Cos they are Bentley wheels?
Shame they don't do Mercedes
What happened to this guy?
He still does videos
@@DarksideDevelopments haven't seen Ryan for ages tbh.
You should make him present the next video as punishment for interrupting you...
Lol
you could damage the dp... what? 😅😂
DPF diesel particle filter
@@roybm3124 god dammit carl 🤦🏼♂️ don't you get it?
