We have a 2016 Avalon and love it. In Sport mode it takes off like a rocket. On a long trip it was very comfortable. I could write on it forever.
I just purchased a 2016 touring! On a Black Friday event got almost 7000 off of sticker! So far I'm loving it!Quality throughout and reliability that Toyota's known for! 18 inch dark gray alloys!doesn't look like grandpa's car!

I bought the Avalon 2017 limited and I think this accurately describes the car.
The climate control screen is really cool. I like that this year model comes with a power sun shade vs the newer, redesigned model. I like the newer model better but these small things make it more interesting.

So 2016 and 2017 are pretty much the same car? I wonder if they will make big changes in up-coming models, as to keep up with or jump ahead of the competition?

+Harry Jones Well they all have their virtues, but we prefer the Maxima because it is more sporty. Between the Avalon and the ES, the Avalon is the bigger of the two and it pretty much has the same luxury features so that would be what we'd pick. Thanks for watching!

Toyota did not specify how many watts for either of the sound systems in their press materials. For some reason they only listed the speaker count in all 3 locations I checked for you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Sorry, but there was no clear analysis of the differences between the Touring model, the XLE Premium, XLE Plus, etc. The seats are not perforated as an example....

A very nice feature of the Avalon is "DRL Off" on the light switch. You don't have to drive around with your lights on during the daytime and look like an idiot.
Driving with your lights on in the daytime is a very big advantage towards your safety. Why would you care what other people think.
The 2017 highlander has a heated windshield. The avalon doesn't. Toyota drives me nuts .

Car Confections: The first thing I noticed was your description. @6:50 "...tasteful chrome piece..." as you pan the camera over a cheap sticker with the words "Super Store". Seriously? That is infuriating, I have had four new cars since 2005 and as a condition of sale I ask the the dealership to remove all cheap after market badging. This dealer should due the same, it makes a new car look crappy. The license plate frame is enough advertising.

Bullshit rather get a Lexus for same price but better quality I own both a 2014 Avalon and a 2015 Lexus GS 350 and also have owned a 2013 Lexus IS 350 and hybrid.Go for Lexus much cheaper better quality even though they're are both made by Toyota
The BUICK LaCrosee is better... Check it out.
$2,000 more and (in my opinion) somewhat lacking....I trust Toyota quality & longevity more than the GM brand. But to each his own; both seem like fine automobiles
Buick is the #3 most reliable brand in the world if you ask Consumer Reports. So, in general, I would agree, but I don't agree when it comes to Buick. This Avalon interior is "lacking" as you say. Buick is all around better in my opinion. More prestigious, more class, and way more respectable than Toyota.
Dillon Ocaña checked out the lacrosse last week and it wasnt that good the interior was cheap looking but the ride was comfortable
