The girl in the yellow shirt is an intellectual. I loved how she gave her input even though she has no idea of the storyline but she understands symbolism well. 💜

There are MANY Bible references in this video. From Noah's Ark and the animals in the beginning, the white dove, the thorns on Jk's hands (similar to the crown of thorns on Jesus' head), the water Jk washed his bound hands in (similar to the baptism), the people and children being led to the land of prosperity (land of milk and honey) and the overall resurrection theme.
True. Not sure if it is also meant to tie into the Lion King too, with the animals. I definitely noticed a life and death theme, or maybe healing.
I've spent a whole day connecting things because this video was driving me nuts trying to understand it.

MeRKiiNGz BTS has an entire storyline throughout their videos and has told their fans that each video makes up an ongoing story. So, we kinda have to look that deep because it all actually means and ties into something big for us to find out. It’s confusing and a little frustrating, but it’s fun and really interesting.
Your friend was spot on about the conch shell. It also is a sign of victory over suffering and the spiral formations of the conch from its smallest point moves upward clockwise & is symbolic of the human journey of life.

First time in 7 years they finally surprised me 👀 with so much symbolism and the moment Jin w/empty cage, blindfolded girl in V, namjoon’s with animals, binded ungkook running, Hobi in open field, Suga dark side, the wall and large rock it literally reminded of Noah’s ark with maze runner combination of the Lion King with the different time period outfits & scenes, apocalyptic fake love dance break, dove of hope and trying to understand story behind jungkook then he does the young forever run up the rock smiling and i’m like 😱🤯 After watching the second time OMG OMG I think finally got meaning toward the end Jin released the dove (represents JK), the horn call of freedom, walking through wall, the firestorm and up the rock is them beginning of a new chapter with new songs, genres, and concepts.....”No More Dream” shown is their debut track from 2013 then it changes to “DREAM” *THERES SO MUCH APOCALYPTIC FUTURE REFERENCES* #BTSOnMV

There's also a theory that Jungkook represented the dove that Jin saw. Him running meant that he was the dove that was dead. When Jungkook found the conch shell, that represented the dove that was alive and set free by Jin. But then people were saying that when the other members were walking up the rock, Jungkook was running with them, even though he was dead.

Hi it's KwanaWrites I loved the video. My take was I caught tons of biblical references, JK with hands tied with thorn like Christ and the crown of thorns and going into the water to be baptized. Also RM and the animals like Noah and the ark. Also RM seemed to lead like Moses. And V with the wall was like the parting of the Red Sea. With Jin the Dove seemed to go back to the white flower he's been shielding in all the other videos representing life ,death and now rebirth. Now who knows, I could be all wrong. It's BTS. :-)

It’s a real rock!!! They faked its surroundings and added pieces in the video but where they are seen walking is a real 150 foot high rock. It’s just outside of Los Angeles in a park called Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park or something like that. It’s the location for a lot of different movies and TV shows, like Westworld. I can’t figure out where JK’s pond scene was filmed. The steam coming off the water makes me think it’s a man made pond on a studio set. Or maybe a warm spring somewhere? The rest look like spots around Death Valley, Lone Pine and Bishop to me. I loved the addition of your two guests! They were very insightful. Just one thing: the shell’s name is spelled conch but pronounced konk

It looked like the guys with the black hood was holding the conch captive and it looked like they were going to face off in a battle., that's why they were dancing so fiercely. Their freedom was being held captive. And the guy with his hands bonded together could be seen as Jesus or somebody who is virtuous. The ones singing are telling his story of how he escaped for freedom and the first thing he did when he was free was use a conch to drink water. That's why they call a conch freedom. The first guy to escape and became free used a conch to drink water.
Edit: the girl represents the dove. In the beginning the dove is kept in a cage and is covered by a piece of cloth. The girl has her eyes covered by the same kind of cloth. In the end of the video when the cloth is removed, the first thing that both the girl and the bird see is pride rock.

I don’t think you guys noticed Jungkook was being eaten by a crow next to Jhope during his verse. I saw a theory that when Jin freed the dove, he actually freed Jungkook (conch=freedom), and that’s how he joins the other 6 in the end. Anyways, thanks for the reaction.
