I think with this performance and winning all 4 grand prizes, BTS gave the Grammys the F U they deserved.
BTS planned and coordinated all the preparation of the stages for THREE MONTHS in between tours and other schedules. I can never say enough about their genius and hard work.

Jonas Brothers only “beat them” in US tour attendance numbers (and barely) because they’ve done 58 Arena tours in the US. BTS only did thirteen (13) shows in the US for the Love Yourself-Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour. 7 of which being STADIUMS, though. Jonas brothers can’t sell out a stadium in the US. But with 58 (thus far) US arena tours - of course the Jonas Brothers attendance has been higher. But these are just US numbers, as well. You also have to remember BTS still doesn’t get the radio play they deserve like Jonas Brothers were just handed in a silver platter and their songs were on every other song. Ultimately BTS crashes Ticketmaster and Sold Out US Stadiums in under 2 hours. Jonas Brothers could never.

Honestly thank you so much for putting the whole reaction video on YT. I was waiting for some of my fave reactors (which you're part of, of course) to react to this and when they finally did, it was on Patron or idk for people to pay to watch it when even the live MMA broadcasting was free. I was so pissed off. Thank you for reacting to it for free.
The work that was put into this performance is incredible! The planning took 3 months. It took 270 people for the stage production. They were flexing SO HARD! Just for BTS, there were 170 performers on stage. They used 218 costume sets. They had to hire 30 hair and make-up artists. It took about a month to remix all the songs for solo performances. It seems like Jhope choreographed parts (or all, not sure) of his own dance moves for his solo. All of them were super busy, but they actively participated in the planning of their solos and how everything was put together.
Idk if I can describe how happy it makes me to see you guys vibin so hard to a BTS performance. My jaw hurts from smiling. These 7 guys bring so much joy to so many people, it's honestly incredible.

Remember in the video Meet the 7 members of Bangtan, it shows there that Jimin studied contemporary dance in middle school. He even got a scholarship to go study abroad but he opted to audition with the advice of his teacher. He also is a black belt in Taekwondo and another type of martial arts. Jimin is a work of art. :) This MMA performace by BTS is iconic and will go down in history.

BTS go all out for every performance. They really take performing on stage seriously. That takes a toll on their bodies. Jimin has chronic muscle cramp so he is constantly in pain after hard dancing sections . For Jungkook, he literally passed out . They have to bring oxygen pipe for them . That's why people became a fan after watching them perform. They really great performers.

I love the fact that you mentioned the set tells who they are in the solo stages because that was what they were going for. That means that they have actually executed it in an effective and beautiful way that tells each members uniqueness and individuality. You mostly see them perform as a group and I cherish the times that each member gets the chance to also shine their own lights for the whole world to see that BTS is made up of 7 super talented individuals deserving of the greatness they are achieving right now as BTS. It makes me happy for the group and happy for fellow ARMYs, too. 💜😊
Jimin was doing contemporary dance, it was mentioned in one of the videos you saw when getting to know bts, you saw his flips too XD also the solos these guys did was showing the different gods they were, god of the sun( Apollo), war, moon(Artemis), fire, sea(Poseidon), lighting (Zeus) and wine (Dionysus)

Just a lil bit of info on their Solo dances: V = Apollo God Of Sun performance includes Cirque du Soleil (circus of the sun) Seokjin = Ares God Of War... him entering on a Trojan horse Jimin = Artemis God Of Moon... dancing like the moon that shines in the night sky Yoongi = Hephaestus God Of Fire... Hence the song Burning Up (Fire) and all the flames.. Jungkook = Poseidon God Of Water... obviously dancing in water and moving fluidly like water... Hoseok = Zeus God Of Thunder.... as the God who presides justice his performance is expressed through numerous lines (the lazers) Namjoon = Dionysus God Of Wine... he is obviously Dionysus because of the Thyrsus in his hand... The way that they actually managed to top last years performance is incredible... their attention to every little detail in this is amazing... in case anyone was wondering apparently during the dance solos they each represented a member of the pantheon. now i may not be 100% correct as its from memory but i believe that in order of their dance solos; V = Apollo God of the sun, hes lit up brightly and his surroundings are red Jin = Zeus God of thunder and ruler of the pantheon, hes standing above the others and directing them the lighting is blue/grey with clouds Jimin = Artemis Goddess of moon and the hunt, its a soft lighting and the dance is elegant and gentle, yet firm and sure like a hunter stalking prey Suga = Haephestus God of fire, fire in background and on him too Haephestus also lived in volcanoes so would climb stairs to arrive Jungkook = Poseidon God of ocean, water in background and on stage would rise from the water like the fog J-Hope = Ares God of war, dark lighting with lasers similar to flash of light from a blade and surrounded by loyal troops following his lead RM = Dionysus God of wine, vines up the staff and his actions gets the song started leader of the group is leader of the banquet apparently the horn summoned them to Dionysus' banquet and the dance solos were like them arriving one after the other with Dionysus starting the banquet once theyd all arrived, which is why its RM leading the banquet despite not being Zeus the God of the pantheon. if ive misspelled any of them let me know and ill correct it. likewise if i have remembered the gods wrong
the Mikrokosmos part & the horses (pre dionysus) part were pre recorded the day before. it’s still live recorded but it’s recorded before the show. that way, they can change clothes lol

Remember in the video Meet the 7 members of Bangtan, it shows there that Jimin studied contemporary dance in middle school. He even got a scholarship to go study abroad but he opted to audition with the advice of his teacher. He also is a black belt in Taekwondo and another type of martial arts. Jimin is a work of art. :) This MMA performace by BTS is iconic and will go down in history.

BTS go all out for every performance. They really take performing on stage seriously. That takes a toll on their bodies. Jimin has chronic muscle cramp so he is constantly in pain after hard dancing sections . For Jungkook, he literally passed out . They have to bring oxygen pipe for them . That's why people became a fan after watching them perform. They really great performers.

I love the fact that you mentioned the set tells who they are in the solo stages because that was what they were going for. That means that they have actually executed it in an effective and beautiful way that tells each members uniqueness and individuality. You mostly see them perform as a group and I cherish the times that each member gets the chance to also shine their own lights for the whole world to see that BTS is made up of 7 super talented individuals deserving of the greatness they are achieving right now as BTS. It makes me happy for the group and happy for fellow ARMYs, too. 💜😊

Jimin was doing contemporary dance, it was mentioned in one of the videos you saw when getting to know bts, you saw his flips too XD also the solos these guys did was showing the different gods they were, god of the sun( Apollo), war, moon(Artemis), fire, sea(Poseidon), lighting (Zeus) and wine (Dionysus)

V = Apollo God Of Sun
performance includes Cirque du Soleil (circus of the sun)
Seokjin = Ares God Of War... him entering on a Trojan horse
Jimin = Artemis God Of Moon... dancing like the moon that shines in the night sky
Yoongi = Hephaestus God Of Fire...
Hence the song Burning Up (Fire) and all the flames..
Jungkook = Poseidon God Of Water... obviously dancing in water and moving fluidly like water...
Hoseok = Zeus God Of Thunder.... as the God who presides justice his performance is expressed through numerous lines (the lazers)
Namjoon = Dionysus God Of Wine... he is obviously Dionysus because of the Thyrsus in his hand...
The way that they actually managed to top last years performance is incredible... their attention to every little detail in this is amazing...

in case anyone was wondering apparently during the dance solos they each represented a member of the pantheon. now i may not be 100% correct as its from memory but i believe that in order of their dance solos;
V = Apollo God of the sun, hes lit up brightly and his surroundings are red
Jin = Zeus God of thunder and ruler of the pantheon, hes standing above the others and directing them the lighting is blue/grey with clouds
Jimin = Artemis Goddess of moon and the hunt, its a soft lighting and the dance is elegant and gentle, yet firm and sure like a hunter stalking prey
Suga = Haephestus God of fire, fire in background and on him too Haephestus also lived in volcanoes so would climb stairs to arrive
Jungkook = Poseidon God of ocean, water in background and on stage would rise from the water like the fog
J-Hope = Ares God of war, dark lighting with lasers similar to flash of light from a blade and surrounded by loyal troops following his lead
RM = Dionysus God of wine, vines up the staff and his actions gets the song started leader of the group is leader of the banquet
apparently the horn summoned them to Dionysus' banquet and the dance solos were like them arriving one after the other with Dionysus starting the banquet once theyd all arrived, which is why its RM leading the banquet despite not being Zeus the God of the pantheon.
