Kai's Sushi & Grill (two locations Minnetonka and Chan) has a very good squid salad. "Ika Sansai". Squid, mushroom, ginger, sesame seed ... I get it every time we eat there. Excellent place all around but not AYCE and not cheap. (Not outrageous either.) It's the closest decent Asian place to home and probably the best Japanese food I know of outside of Mpls / St. Paul city limits. Probably.
@@warrenj3204 I’ll have to go check it out. I love Ika salad. It’s ok to splurge once in a while. We hear Billy Sushi down town is good but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet.
There is this place called "Haven Asian Eatery" owned by some Lao people that looks promising. 62 and Shady Oak. They do brisk take-out business. I've yet to try it. Closer to home than Kai's.
@@warrenj3204 th-cam.com/video/ntjPTrIzyvQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kOZUWkOSsxC0fzdz We did enjoy the food there. Everything was delicious! I do want to go back there and see if things are the same. Hope they have a nice sign up by now.
Good eating spot. Sushi and mochi donuts next door ❤❤❤
Looked pretty standard, and good! Thanks for sharing!
@@Xcelor8 Yes, very similar to Kyoto and Takara. Ichiban is better but does cost $5 more. Thanks for watching!
I too have eaten french fries with chopsticks. I felt no shame.
@@warrenj3204 no shame in using chopstick to eat anything 😂
