Would be nice if you could make a pros and cons video about buying a used Buell in 2022... A 2003 xb9 has been calling my name for 3 weeks now, but I'm not sure if I should purchase it because of parts availability and the possible lack of mechanics or shops willing to fix it.
Parts availability in almost every case is a pain in the butt. Theres a few places still making carbon body parts. But these are very particular machines to own. Only way id advocate for it is if, at your core you know you need to own one. As far as maintenance goes, it can be a challenge finding someone competent to work on them, but the buell groups on facebook are very helpful. I would not suggest this as an only bike, this is definitely something you should anticipate putting wrenches to yourself. I appreciate the suggestion, and will try to get a video out about it before the season is over.

@@kylehazelton Thanks for the info and advice. I guess I will can the Buell purchase and start looking at Suzuki M109s again.
