@@bustercaps Yup. I don't watch Nate all the time honestly.. I come back and watch a bunch then a few months go by etc, but last time he was under 1M for sure and now he's doubled it size! He deserves it though. No bs music and theatrics, just good substance.
Never in all my years had I even considered naming a cow Fruit Loop but now that I heard it, it's going to stay stuck in my head forever. What a sweet girl she is. Get well, Fruit Loop!
I've watched LOTS of hoof trimming videos , mostly yours, and this is the first time I have seen a split like this. Froot Loop must have been a character when she as a calf to get her name. Pretty cute!
Now that was an injury I don’t think I’ve seen before. After your care we know she’ll heal perfectly. Nate I just wanted to mention that you have a great voice. It would be great to hear you doing voice acting or voice-overs. If you ever want a side job 🥰 👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
Surprisingly, this title is not the first time I heard it. From one FruitLoop to another, I am grateful Nate was there to help you. On a side note, extremely interesting. It looked at first to me like a cut from something sharp.
My child and I have watched your videos since they were about a year old. We love your content and, now, my baby is in love with the name "Fruit Loop"! Thank you so much for all that you do, and especially adding in Fruit Loop's name!
The mark was a straight line. That isn't natural. She almost certainly stepped on something. But it's not a normal puncture wound like from a nail or rock. I almost want to think she stepped on something hard, like metal, with a sharp edge.
@@DianaStuckert Given the weight of a cow, it could be relatively dull. Like a butter knife. The extreme pressure from the weight of the cow could cause it to dig in. But we're still talking something shaped like a blade. A garden tool, like a hoe, for instance. Or maybe a sharp corner she stepped on the right way. Or a piece of metal sticking up out of the floor or the ground.
Ive watched a ton of these trimming videos and am always amazed at how the hoofs can get damaged. This one almost looked like she stepped on a knife! Ouchies 😢
Almost directly to the left of the injury there was a small crack in the wall horn. Did you consider investigating it at all, just to make sure it wasn’t related?
I'd love to see you give a review / try the green glue that Graham uses on the Hoof GP! No one would be able to critique it better and It does actually seem really good!
It was claimed the word "fruit" in the cereal name implied it was a fruit-based snack and that it was misleading. In the end, a settlement out of court was supposedly arranged, and the cereal name was changed and re-released as Froot Loops. To prevent a lawsuit, maybe her name should change to Froot Loop. 🤦♂️ Thanks for sharing.
Hello, well where's "Toucan"???😊 Don't tell me she's flying in.🤔 Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
I may have watched one too many hoof trimming videos because as so as I saw that mark I went "she has stepped on something". Anyways, great video as always
Is hoofhorn about like a hard block of cheese or harder? I think of you when I’m shaving off cheese😁 Her name: Fruitloop. Wonder if rancher’s child named her!
It’s strange how there’s a straight line across just one claw; seems like there should have been a matching mark on the other one. It also made me think of what it feels like when I bend a nail back and how that leaves a line across it, if it doesn’t just snap off. 😬
Fruitloop is quite a common descriptive in the UK for someone a bit daft or loopy. Not necessarily offensive more a term of endearment for for your daft 'fruitloop' brother or pal.
Hey Nate! I was too excited to see a new video come across my notifications! I have a question tho. Other hoof trimming channels (especially the one in Scotland, which I no longer watch because he hacks away at the cows feet in a rush) have cows with just these HORRIBLE abscesses & big holes, & I’ve seen your channel have some pretty gory looking feet (you are sooo humane in your approach though & that’s why I watch) but NEVER to the extent of the condition that the cows are in other channels. WHY is that? Is it the farmer’s neglect, hoof trimmer overbooked, or do they just have different practices and a different set of challenges when it comes to cows in different countries? Or do you just not film 🎥 certain cows feet when they are in horrid conditions out of respect to the farms? -curious lady from Arkansas 😂
I would think all that knife work would give the hoof trimmer repetitive motion injuries. Someone should come up with a smaller, more precise power tool that could replace the knife for at least some of the detail work the grinder can't do.
Knife work exposed that crack and I said, “Oh!” That is a new one I’ve not seen before. I think you had one bone fracture in the time I’ve watched which was in the center of a claw. Hopefully it’s not like that again. “Frootlooper” is what the studio production people and convention organizers called nutty fans of the TV show Stargate at the fan conventions.
Fruit loop comes with her own milk supply! 😂
Yeah... All cows do
That's like saying a chicken makes their own breakfast...gross. 🤣
😂 so true 👍 lolol
And steak
You Came up with the best reply.
❤❤❤
Nate, holy cow! You're on your way to two million subscribers! I remember watching you when you were well under 100k.. big congratulations!
“Holy cow” lol 🐮
Same here. My favorite hoofer by far.
It happened so fast right? I joined when he was about 200k it’s wild
@MichellePocket I didn't even realize at the time, lol. 😂

Farm kid must have named the cow. That's too cute!
OMG… Fruit Loop… What an adorable name! 🥰
I love that Fruit Loop got a pink wrap!
I needed the laugh...Fruitloop 😂. You could be a therapist with your calm demeanor and voice.
But but but...what WAS the thing all those heifers were stepping on? You can't just tease that story and not tell us!
I know! I came from the short to hear it but he never said! I feel cheated!

Fruit Loop is my spirit cow!!!
Poor cowsie. It is wonderful how you take away their pain and help them heal.
I love cows. They are a lot smarter than people think. I'm SO glad you saw her before things really started going south with her hoof!
Now that was an injury I don’t think I’ve seen before. After your care we know she’ll heal perfectly.

👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
I watch a couple of hoof trimmers faithfully and have never seen this slash looking damage. Glad she was the only one with this problem
I like that the cow has an actual name and not just a number. Is this a small farm?
most cows have names

Bless you Nate 🎉 happy healing to Fruitloop, have a great one 👍
Love the vids Nate been watching for a while keep it up
Great knife-work, it's amazing how you can be so exact in removing just what you need to and nothing more. Bravo.

Your video's were mentioned on our local talk show. The Jason Show in Twin Cities. Co host Falen mentioned them. As an avid follower I was thrilled.
You know animals are well cared for when they have names like fruitloop ❤🎉
Fruitloop has a pretty face. Thank you, Nate.
Fruit Loop the cow.. adorable! 😊
Fruit loop is a great name for a cow. 😎🇨🇦😎
Love watching your video's from UK 🇬🇧 .
Excellent trim Nate . Make it look easy which it's definitely not. Big thanks for your videos from Scotland UK 👍👍👍👍
Glad Fruitloop will be feeling better soon
Nate, one of my favorite people in the world 🤗
Just subscribed, Nate. You are my fave hoof trimmer🥰You take your time, are thorough and gentle. A man well suited to his art😊You are moo-tastic!
Thanks for another great video. Fruit loop has such a cute face.
I'm all here for Fruitloops lol

Something extremely sharp to slice like that 🧐

Fruit Loop and milk..... now I want a bowl 😂😂
This work is fascinating. I love these vids.
Thank goodness he Chex the cows. When he's done, if someone asks what's wrong, he can always say "Nut'n'honey".
Hopefully, he doesn't get too many Kix when he Chex them!

Came here to say that.
It’s safe to say it wasn’t a problem. I’m just curious how he came to that conclusion.
I really like this recent thumbnail style with the cow's cute face there as well!
I wonder if all the cows on that farm are named after cereal
I was also wondering this lol
Possibly somewhere there’s a big ol bull called Captain Crunch….🙃
Glad that’s not too bad for her.
Oh I loove these videos
Another beautiful cow 😊
I'd love to see you give a review / try the green glue that Graham uses on the Hoof GP! No one would be able to critique it better and It does actually seem really good!
I really hope there's a cinnamon toast crunch on the farm as well
Well, they gave her a kind of insulting name, but at least she’s not just a number 🤷♂️
😂😂
Yaaaaaay for fruit loop❤
Why do I love this soooooo much
Poor mama🥰🐮
There were a whole lot of lame heifers😂😂😂 that's just too funny

On behalf of all loops, I insist that she be called Froot Lupe because I don't see any loops in her. I, on the other hand, am full of them.
@@rtcommodore9354 quite loopy, you might say?
Nice cow! Nice job!
I’ll bet you’re a world champion thumb wrestler!😂😂😂
Awesome Nate
Happy Fruitloop💕
Fruitloop is a fantastic name.
I’ve known a few Fruit Loops in my day that’s for sure. 😁
Hello, well where's "Toucan"???😊 Don't tell me she's flying in.🤔 Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
Enjoyed that one👍

Wonder if rancher’s child named her!
Looked worrisome at first but then ended up fairly shallow and not that bad overall.
Good news for Fruit Loop.
I misread the title and thought she was gonna have a fruit loop in her hoof. 😂 I was ready to believe that the world is indeed a glitchy simulation.
Good job Fruit Loop!
Sharp eye, Nate !

Love you man
is there a chance the split in the claw continues into the new hoof as it grows?
I bet fruitloop is born late at night or early in the morning. The farmer after the birth name her after the cereals he was eating for breakfast 😊
Yay Fruitloop!
Fruitloop is quite a common descriptive in the UK for someone a bit daft or loopy. Not necessarily offensive more a term of endearment for for your daft 'fruitloop' brother or pal.
Great name, icky cereal!
that's so much better when cows have names
Now I need to know, what was the issue with the farm where all the heifers had lameness??
Fruit Loop is nicer than a bland number !
Great video. That cracked hoof looks really bad.
Pretty girl!!
Do a lot of the cows you trim have names or is it only some farms?
So what was it that they kept stepping on ? What a suspense.

11:45 boyes!! Still going
Please do a follow up video on Fruit Loop 😂
Where's Coco puff lol Have a great day Nate
Do you ever get an instance where you block both hooves?
Very short post. I hope the next one is longer. Have a nice safe day!!
I don't know why I am watching all your videos, I don't even be closed to any cow
Dang it now I want fruit loops
My aunt is a heifer 😅😂😅
It almost looked like it was cracked.
What was it she got into or stepped on? Did I miss something?
I realized that "Bessie" is to "cow" what "Fido" is to "dog": Just an affectionate nickname.
We love fruit loops

You should ask the farmer what she did to earn that name...😅
