As a Lebanese myself, I find it sad that people don’t give the Muslim neighborhoods any credit, as there are many beautiful Muslim villages. Even the “bad” areas are filled with good people and it’s not the people you need to worry about. It’s the outsiders bombing and targeting only the Muslim areas. There is still a lot of racism directed towards the Muslim communities in Lebanon and that’s just not fair as they are just as welcoming if not more than many other French influenced areas of Lebanon. We need to do better to promote Lebanese and not just one religious side of Lebanon, because we also have Druze and all sorts of different spiritual beliefs. That’s just my two cents.
