In portrait mode and daytime selfies, the S23 Fe wins. The biggest weaknesses of the A55 along with the wide angle and zoom. A54 vs A55 would be a nice comparison.
It's really no surprise for zoom, as cropping can't be comparable to tele, if it's not something crazy like 200MP. What is surprise here - A series is almost as good as FE for primary sensor.
I want to find 55vs54 too, but I'm happy there are tests on Techno Arena first day, looks like A55 does good job here.

A55 does a fantastic job. I'm planning to get a Samsung this year, either the A35 or A55, but depends on price. Probably will be the A35 because I want to replace my wife's phone as well.

If not, have you considered an A34 then? It also has a 6.6" display. The price difference between the two generations is so big...
The biggest difference I see between A34, A35 and A55 (not considering SoC as it always changes a bit) is the lateral frame, respectively: plastic and round; plastic and angular; metallic and angular.

A55 in Samsung shop now 450 euro but with 50 discount and free Galaxy Buds FE (75 euro) makes 325 euro for A55 or 250,- for A35🎉

I tried the A55 camera instore today and also took pics with my s24+ and I'm super impressed! The clarity is much better and not as grainy and no blurry edges! I'm returning my S24+ asap!
Fun fact: S23 FE is the only modern Samsung phone that's capable to properly expose red neon lights and red flowers. I personally compared every Samsung model from the last 3 years in these conditions and the S23 FE was the clear winner, despite the fact that it uses the main camera of S22. Second place was for S24 Ultra and A52S.
I noticed that on my a53 and s21 fe the red flowers look weird
@@bucket7548 , which one captures the red closer to the real life? I also have S10e and A52s. Both are capable to capture the red flowers and red neon lights only if I manually reduce the brightness from the tiny slider that appears on the viewfinder when I click to focus on the object.
@@AutomotiveCNC s21 fe overall looked better because a lot of times the a53 will not be as sharp, i dont have access to them anymore, gave the fe to my mom and sold the a53
What i found is that with the 23 FE in the night photos and some other photos you do get more details but also looks like there is some grey blur over the photo. And i did not see this with the A55. Maybe you have less details but it does not show the grey blur

H90 is a midranger, S23 and iPhone 13/14/15 are premium high end phones. There is no need for the comparison. Also, you could get a S23 FE for H90's price.

I know this video is about camera performance, but to clarify, S 23 FE battery is a major blunder, I bought a new S 23 FE 3 days ago ,and the battery drains so quickly, tried many tips to reduce battery consumption but only minor improvements, the camera is good but if battery is a huge deal for you then stay away form it .Wish I had known that before buying it .I was excited about getting this phone, but now I am very disappointed.

S23 FE wins when zooming and in portrait mode. A55 is better on the rest. Just selfies are debatable.
