Thank you for another great interview! It's really refreshing to see how the concept art industry seems to be letting go of the toxic "crunch" culture and focusing more on creativity and work-life balance. Really encouraging for all of us who aspire to be part of it one day!
That was a really pleasant surprise when I started these interviews. You hear so much about crunch culture in art production, so learning that some art houses are actively trying to avoid it is very exciting.

Thank you for sharing these interviews. It's great to listen to on the side while working on portfolio pieces. I really appreciate you asking questions about the time between school and finding work and conversations about what employers and art directors are looking for in a portfolio. And I think most of us had that initial misconception that concept art was the "pretty picture" job lol. Really great stuff in each video, can't wait for more :D

it would have really been awesome to hear his outlook of international students getting work after graduation since canada no longer offers pgpw to syn studio programs once you finish you have to gtfo
