Jason Blundell actually said in an interview once that they had to dumb down the bots in BO4 zombies because they would actively go out of their way to do the easter egg and the player would be none the wiser until they would reach the end of said easter egg.
Don't know if that counts as breaking the 4th wall but on Shangri La you can hear Takeao saying "The Easter Egg not so hard this time. Oh, that's just the Power Switch" after turning on power and on Blood of the Dead, when you turn on the Acid Trap, Nikolai may sing "I'm singing in the rain" and then something like "Oh, no, I would not know this song".
This most certainly does count as breaking the 4th wall! The characters are showing self-awareness to the fact that their objectives are called “Easter eggs” and correcting themselves on things they wouldn’t possibly be able to know in the first place. Thanks for the extra quotes, love these ones
Okay, Nikoli correcting himself that he shouldn't know about a song that hasn't come out yet is the most brilliantly funny thing I have ever heard for some reason? Like that implies he has knowledge outside of his own universe, which is a can of worms that joke inevitably opens XD
The "voices" mentioned in Jackass Flats seems to be referring to Richtofen and Maxis and their competing instructions (see Black Ops 2 easter egg story) and implies that the two are communicating with EVERYONE left on earth, not just the main characters. More depressingly, since Richtofen can only communicate with those that have consumed zombie flesh, this implies that the Nevada National Security Site is in such dire straits that at least half of them have had to cannibalize zombies in order to survive. Truly a dark fate for the remnants of humanity
The "round 2.18483e+009" entry refers to the highest round achievable on WaW zombies, and I theorise that it is due to the number being the maximum numerical value for a 32-bit binary integer as the "+009" is also written as "x+10^9", where "x" is any value greater than (or equal to) 1 but less than 10, and "10^9" refers to a number that is 10 digits long (e.g. 2,147,483,647).

The "anxiety frequencies" could imply that Treyarch may have used Infrasound frequencies as the base layer of the sounds of the game. Infrasound is a range of sound frequencies under 40 hertz that have been tested and shown to cause anxiety, fear, panic, paranoia, and even hallucinations in humans. And when making ambience sounds, they use layers of different sounds to create the full experience.
Kino and the old WAW maps had that real uneasy feeling. In Kino sometimes the menu music would even play faintly in the background (during silence) but just barely
I was going to mention this, when listening to it in the video IMMEDIATELY i got a sense of anxiety rising so I think there is definitely some infrasound wackiness going on. The VR-11 is a wonder weapon. It gives you co-op partners a insta-kill effect. This has lead to Call of the Dead being the only map to have a higher co-op record than solo.
59:00 I've seen Tim Hansen mention this in one of his older videos (I think it was the history of wonder weapons one, I'm not sure), but anyways he was talking about the Wunderwaffe and how it does infinite damage and it was easy to get to insanely high rounds, if I find the video I'll link it in the replies.
I think it was the “History of COD Zombies Wonder Weapons”, where when he starts talking about the wunderwaffen, he mentions that there are glitches that allow you to get to round that look like TGIS (2.17153783+009), which could further reference that 2.17153783 ( Not sure how it was spelled ) is the highest round achievable via the broken WAW round system, as it may also be the number for the 32-Bit integer limit.
The die glock was actually a bell shaped object that hung on chains surrounded and attached to concrete pillows. You can see accurate pictures on google of these pillars some even edit the die glock (bell) into the photo to see what it was like some said it was a teleportation device for hitler. Back then the Germans had some psychopathic scientists just like richotnfen😅 they wanted a super soldier. Hense where cod developers pull all this from, element 115 is also a radio active beacon in our reality not many mess with it
Fun fact: the last War mode map from cod ww2 had you try to destroy or defend « Die Glocke ». As the Allies, you would have to escort tanks through a facility filled with v2 rockets and flying saucers, while the Axis had to stop you with experimental grenades and stuff. It was kind of a way to tie that cod’s zombies story to the multiplayer I guess. It looked pretty cool although I never played it.
Felt like there was a missed opportunity when talking about Peter McCain at 22:00, could've said "in Shi No Numa you don't really have to look too hard for him, he's just HANGING OUT in the spawn room" ;) great video as always!
Something that surprises me to this day is that no one talked about PlayTheGameCentral. This TH-cam channel literally predicted the Mob of the Dead, Buried, and Origins maps and their mechanics
Yeah syndicate pretty much buried these guys, those guys also predicted the giant remastered. They knew the storyline back when all we got was creepy occult conspiracy theory easter eggs. Good stuff now its a dead channel
4:56 I’m pretty sure The Shadowman is referring to Ultimis Richtofen, not Primis Richtofen. Because Ultimis Richtofen was the one who came into contact with the MPD and started hearing the voices. One of them being The Shadowman
Hey I just wanna say I listened to the first iceberg literally right before this and man it is insane how much better this one is presentation wise. You did a really good job and I am enjoying the shit out of it!!
Wow thank you so much and its so great to hear that you enjoyed! In regards to another iceberg video, i really would want to do one. I would need to find or make another iceberg list though :)
One of my favorite "suggestive" Richtofen quotes is from Shang, when you get hit by the spikes he can say "AAAOOOooh that's... good, very good. Buy me dinner next time ya!" or something similar. Also the order that Victis appear in the cryopods is slightly different in BOTD too, with Misty and Marlton's places in the Tag Der Toten intro being swapped.
I think one of the best anxiety audios in kino was hearing one of the zombie yell/screeches sounding like it’s right behind you but the zombies no where near you lol
I have a theory about the call of the dead crews fate is they eventually killed George and managed to power the submarine to escape and lived off the grid because of the government wanting them or something
This CoD zombies enjoyer says that i don’t really watch these iceberg explained videos often, but i’m sure this’ll shed some extra light on the zombies mode.
on the purgatory thing, the town buried takes place in was a town called purgatory point. so yeah, they were teasing buried in mob. secondary point, bo1 bricking wiis was an actual thing. happened to both me and few of my friends.
Only one minor nitpick, die Glocke means “the bell” referring to the teleporter. You’re thinking about the wunderwaffe or “wonder weapons” The pinwheel people were trying to make, like the sun gun
I know I'm late to this but what I think the "Memories of an 'Ascension' Map" bit could be referring to is the fact that there was originally a version of Ascension where Gersch was a playable character instead of Ultimis Richtofen. Something that can back this up is the original poster for Ascension and how in the comics there was a panel that showed Ultimis Richtofen with Primis Takeo, Nikolai and Dempsey.
The zombie engineer was going to be in kino when is was suppose to be release in waw, it will behave like George in cotd but because kino was cancelled, the zombie engineer was scrapped but the zombie engineer is in some custom zombies maps in waw, one of which was in some of vanoss gaming crews videos
There's a quote from Alpha Omega in black ops 4 that Ultimus Richthofen while drinking a perk will say "oh, I swear I'll put anything down my throat" 😂
I believe the only reason the victus crew come out in a different order is because in that cycle everything is different and the cycle is broken so not everything went as according to plan
Looking back on the origins and early mysteries of nazi zombies makes it all the more saddening to see where it has ended up. Such a shame but at this point it's too far gone to save. RIP zombs
RIP Zombies. I remember how hype I was for the future of Zombies during BO3, only for BO4 to disappoint immensely and for Cold War to be the nail of the coffin
so for the monkey bomb in the furnace one, it was rumored (or at least rumored locally) that when you throw it into the furnace its a hidden buff that would make the explosion stronger than normal.
I don't know if you knew this, but on kino in zombie chronicles they actually made a new knocking door easter egg which played a song when completed, I don't think it was quite the same door as the original one in bo1 I think
Yeah I’m aware of this obscure easter egg, but the reason I didn’t mention it is because the entry is referring to the bo1 version in the dressing room. Although it would’ve been good to mention
I know when you're sleeping, its a line from verruckt's ee song. I know when you're sleeeping. I know the things your dreaming. I love it when you're weeping. Even death can't stop this feeling
The reason everyone likes Speed Cola is because in Cold War zombies if you read the can it says it contains “Hydrolyzed Crank,” which is basically just meth.
I dont know if its added to bo3 Kino or also in the original but there is an ambiance sound where you here what to me sounds like a piano and a little girl screaming, just gives me chills
I think for the Nuketown Bunker thing, they didn't reuse the Blackout bunker for Alpha Omega, they reused the Alpha Omega bunker for Blackout. Even though Blackout came out first, I'm fairy certain they were already working on Alpha Omega at the time it came out.
Bus depot is a nach style map, Farm is a verruckt style map Town is a der riese style map So it follows logically that power station might have been a shi no numa style map, with random perks, and no pack a punch
Just to go along with the ambience of kino. I had that same feeling with Ascension (bo1 version). I don’t know if anyone is with me on this but there were background sounds that made me very tense, 1 in particular that would occur randomly was a high pitched tone that actually is from WAW. If anyone remembers WAW well they will know it from multiplayer but it could be heard on Bo1 Ascension and always gave me the creeps.
I remember celebrating the release of firebase Z and the tombstone machine by having the tombstone jingle play on repeat on TH-cam for my 28 hour Firebase Z Game, that of course crashed around 7 times because of the server issues at the time. But it’s a time I’ll never forget and I’d gladly do it again. Tombstone jingle ‘chefs kiss’
1:00:00 I remember being in class playing with mods on WaW and forcing that round to play. Apparently it truly was to play the final round of zombies and it never went any further. This is from mods tho back in the day so I personally never got to this round legitimately nor do I think it's humanly possible.
OHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAA ANOTHER ONNEEEEEE, was getting tired of re watching your first video and everything from eric hahah great one. and... on Renaissance Mod PC we have AUG Wallbuy and Engineers on Kino, Cosmic Silverback on Ascension and ALOT more.
I don't think the pigs were turned into nova crawlers, it's more likely that blueprint shows gene splicing than straight up "pigs turn humanoid when exposed to 115/zombies" 😂
That glitched round entry at 59:00 is also the round that will appear on the WAW leaderboard when it doesn’t sync properly the multiplayer XP also does that when you get deranked
I mean that’s part about that street being playable on die rise makes so much sense if you remember the video too promote DLC 1 for BO2 and I talking about the live action video you see that there on street instead of being on top building which is weird because why would you do that I mean if you played that map you know that you don’t play on street so it makes if it was cut out of the game because of time.
These are always a treat to listen to. I hope there's more content to talk about with regards to cod zombies. (like your other video about waw). I'll always make time for them.
Another thing about the cipher (disassembled raygun part) go shoot the map in the bunker of origins. I would suggest bo3 because it’s easier and it’s in the bunker with the Argus wall buy. In Zetsu-bou-no-shima in the underwater section by mule kick and on the ceiling in one air socket by the entrance there is another message. I haven’t found any more yet soooo…keep lookin.

it’s probably important to point out that the cycle is not only revolving around primus, it also includes waw-bo2 stories. The quest of primus cannot exist without the events of bo1 and bo2 taking place with ultimus, and similarly tje nazis couldn’t find element 115 in 1945, or more accurately they wouldn’t exist in the first place, without primus fighting the great war

@@Dark_lord_Gaming The recent BO2 Zombies Remastered add Diner, Tunel, and Power Station as survival maps. It's not exactly the same as playing the cut maps. But it's a fun look into what could've been.
21:33 Peter Mcain didn’t die from Richthofen. He was a spy in division nine(or group 935) and when he was parachuting(not on the first day of being a spy) he got caught in the roof of shi no numa with the parachute and he died
that's... a lame ass death tbh. bro coukd just.. take the parachute off or cut the parachute straps
@@iwantmygarlicbread he did come back to life when the people at broken arrow obtained his body and brought him back to life with the elemental shard(which is also why he’s not a zombie when they do so)
The VR-11 is a wonder weapon. It gives you co-op partners a insta-kill effect. This has lead to Call of the Dead being the only map to have a higher co-op record than solo.
Thanks
Thank you so so much! I really appreciate it
59:00
I've seen Tim Hansen mention this in one of his older videos (I think it was the history of wonder weapons one, I'm not sure), but anyways he was talking about the Wunderwaffe and how it does infinite damage and it was easy to get to insanely high rounds, if I find the video I'll link it in the replies.
Here it is, its around 4:30
th-cam.com/video/fu1yG_DAKJ0/w-d-xo.html
I think I’ve seen this same glitch in bo1 kino but it was a long time ago and the memory is foggy
*This, not Tgis what am I thinking I may have typed too fast
"when the meat drops, you've finally reached manhood" might be one of the best quotes of all time
this is the most hyped I've been about zombies since Cold War dropped
I came to comment about this too haha, the die glocke was super interesting and the germans interest in Moscovium (115)
also the concrete structure it supposedly hung from is in der riese near where you activate the hide and seek easter egg
this is all a conspiracy theory by the way, none of this has actually been confirmed to have happened in reality.
The first mention of Die Glocke is in a 1980-90s book that was not based in reality.
Just watched a couple of days ago the first part and this drops today, what a nice timing! Awesome video, keep it up!
Felt like there was a missed opportunity when talking about Peter McCain at 22:00, could've said "in Shi No Numa you don't really have to look too hard for him, he's just HANGING OUT in the spawn room" ;) great video as always!
I just watched the first one, I really enjoyed it, I was suprised and happy to see another one recently uploaded :)
Thank you :)
You did an amazing job here man. A few things here that i didn't know at all :D
Thank you mate! There’s some great stuff on here I didn’t know either until I researched it
Hola gaming
Jajajaja qpdo
Hey I just wanna say I listened to the first iceberg literally right before this and man it is insane how much better this one is presentation wise. You did a really good job and I am enjoying the shit out of it!!
Thanks so much man! The third one should be even better
@@TheExceptionalGamer hell fuckin yeah bro
57:44
Especialy because Buried's town in the Lore was called Purgatory Point in the official Timeline.
Edit: Great Video.
I really hope there's more Icebergs, cause this is one of the best videos of zombies that I have watched about zombies and unknown information
Wow thank you so much and its so great to hear that you enjoyed! In regards to another iceberg video, i really would want to do one. I would need to find or make another iceberg list though :)
@@TheExceptionalGamer Subscribing now to see what's coming in the future, thanks for the video bro
56:02 you forgot that kino had wunderwaffe and flamethrower voice lines in it's files. Another hint that it was supposed to be in WAW.
I have a theory about the call of the dead crews fate is they eventually killed George and managed to power the submarine to escape and lived off the grid because of the government wanting them or something
The good ending
This CoD zombies enjoyer says that i don’t really watch these iceberg explained videos often, but i’m sure this’ll shed some extra light on the zombies mode.
on the purgatory thing, the town buried takes place in was a town called purgatory point. so yeah, they were teasing buried in mob.
secondary point, bo1 bricking wiis was an actual thing. happened to both me and few of my friends.
The Shi no numa "I know when you are sleeping" is just a quote from the song of verruct before the music changes to The One
22:26 There is actually a disassembled Ray Gun behind one of the zombie barricades in the lab
Something that can back this up is the original poster for Ascension and how in the comics there was a panel that showed Ultimis Richtofen with Primis Takeo, Nikolai and Dempsey.
i literally finished the first zombies iceberg vid yesterday, and then this comes out, i am not even kidding
20:38 Why were you so cruel to Mr. Monkey!? He just wanted to PLAY! -Samatha
The zombie engineer was going to be in kino when is was suppose to be release in waw, it will behave like George in cotd but because kino was cancelled, the zombie engineer was scrapped but the zombie engineer is in some custom zombies maps in waw, one of which was in some of vanoss gaming crews videos
Things like this are my favorite content you do, thank you.
The knocking of the cabinet can also be found at the fire trap on the left and run against the door.
Very nice video, love these kind of iceberg vids and I also adore COD Zombies. Have a lovely evening/night!
Thank you, yeah I like them too, hope you have a lovely night/evening too
There's a quote from Alpha Omega in black ops 4 that Ultimus Richthofen while drinking a perk will say "oh, I swear I'll put anything down my throat" 😂
I believe the only reason the victus crew come out in a different order is because in that cycle everything is different and the cycle is broken so not everything went as according to plan
Yeah what happened in the the Comics, happened in the previous cycle
I think the knocking in Kino is just an audio queue, placed to spark mystery, nothing more. awesome non the less.
Cod zombies always gives me the chills when going in the iceberg
this will probably be buried somewhere, but the weird number round was from a mod menu when you tried to set the round to the max round.
22:21 not sure if you'll read this but the ray gun is there you have to check the bottom floor barriers and look for it and you'll find it!!
Another banger of a video
Thanks mate
Some of these theories are exceptional
I haven’t played zombies in a few years and I almost started tearing up thinking about my old Xbox friends. I miss the good old days.
Love it man, if you ever make a video on a 3rd iceberg wouldn't mind if you added more cold war entries
I definitely would if there was a third iceberg with different entries, I may even have to make my own list or something lmao
The reason everyone likes Speed Cola is because in Cold War zombies if you read the can it says it contains “Hydrolyzed Crank,” which is basically just meth.
22:45 was a jumpscare I wasn't ready for LOL
I dont know if its added to bo3 Kino or also in the original but there is an ambiance sound where you here what to me sounds like a piano and a little girl screaming, just gives me chills
I think for the Nuketown Bunker thing, they didn't reuse the Blackout bunker for Alpha Omega, they reused the Alpha Omega bunker for Blackout. Even though Blackout came out first, I'm fairy certain they were already working on Alpha Omega at the time it came out.
Bus depot is a nach style map,
Farm is a verruckt style map
Town is a der riese style map
So it follows logically that power station might have been a shi no numa style map, with random perks, and no pack a punch
OHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAA ANOTHER ONNEEEEEE, was getting tired of re watching your first video and everything from eric hahah
great one.
and... on Renaissance Mod PC we have AUG Wallbuy and Engineers on Kino, Cosmic Silverback on Ascension and ALOT more.
48:10 “when ze meat drops, you finally reach manhood”
Oh my
why were they so fruity 😂😂
29:32 the phrase “I know when you’re sleeping” could also mean the words from the song “Lullaby for a Deadman” the first Easter egg song
11:28 “a zombie container” bruh you mean a soul box 🤣
The return of the king
Hopefully this second video gives you the exposure you deserve man, you make good content 👍
Thank you, glad I can be entertaining :)
22:45 Pentagon Thief: Hello there.
I don't think the pigs were turned into nova crawlers, it's more likely that blueprint shows gene splicing than straight up "pigs turn humanoid when exposed to 115/zombies" 😂
Exactly
That glitched round entry at 59:00 is also the round that will appear on the WAW leaderboard when it doesn’t sync properly the multiplayer XP also does that when you get deranked
I mean that’s part about that street being playable on die rise makes so much sense if you remember the video too promote DLC 1 for BO2 and I talking about the live action video you see that there on street instead of being on top building which is weird because why would you do that I mean if you played that map you know that you don’t play on street so it makes if it was cut out of the game because of time.
1:03:07 I was listening to this while playing BOTW and then this part happened.
You sick man.
These are always a treat to listen to. I hope there's more content to talk about with regards to cod zombies. (like your other video about waw). I'll always make time for them.
Great job incorporating the instrumentals of ee songs in the background really adds to the iceberg and I personally enjoy them too
Thanks for noticing! I thought it was fitting to play "We all fall down" when going "Below the Surface" lmao
@@TheExceptionalGamer yeah that was pretty good detail to me
Love your videos man! You should definitely do more
59:21 : this is correct. The times I have seen this was when WAW lobbies would be modded and someone pressed “max round”
I could totally see a sun gun being a wunder weapon where it charges when standing in any light
23:28
I’ve never heard knocking in the dressing room, but I did hear it in the room with the MPL on the wall.
Wow it’s crazy how tucked away these are
@@TheExceptionalGamer yea. I found a lot of Easter eggs early on in maps like the disco ball in der eisendrache
Edit: I grew up around call of duty and I’ve played most of the call of duty games. I’m only missing the three before modern warfare one. My dad and I are amazing at the games and my dad was also one of the first people to solve kino’s knocking door.
it’s probably important to point out that the cycle is not only revolving around primus, it also includes waw-bo2 stories. The quest of primus cannot exist without the events of bo1 and bo2 taking place with ultimus, and similarly tje nazis couldn’t find element 115 in 1945, or more accurately they wouldn’t exist in the first place, without primus fighting the great war
The sequel we needed!
i could be wrong but i swear the "memories of an ascension map" rings a bell to me but not in the way you explained it. I think it was one of the crew (maybe primis) commenting about how they feel like they've been in the map (maybe it was in revelation or something). Again, i can be just misremembering
