I noticed that too, haha. It’s the little moments that make making these things all the more rewarding when it’s nailed
@@VeritasUnae No Doubt. If this video were made today, it probably would have been stitched together digitally from several takes, because we can now do that. In the world of soulless, Autotuned, quantized music, Photoshop'd to perfection images and digital prosthetics it's nice to see the human element.
Marvellous, what a great approach to showing multiple displayed perceptions...
Always the coolest. Thanks Al!
Bro still has it. 👌
love this. love it A LOT.
This is exactly what I needed from my algorithm today. Thanks Daddy Al
Weird Al and Tenacious D. A collaboration of the century
That would be so perfect!
@@ypsikitty Yep, if both were still going
They've played together! th-cam.com/video/x7x5W54u52I/w-d-xo.html
Not that it needs repeating but Jack is such a gem.
One of the best memories of my childhood was listening to Weird Al on the Dr Demento show. To this day I sing Rides The Bus when everyone else is proud they know somic lyrics to a Queen song.
My god, I had forgotten how many amazing people were in this incredible video.
I was just listening to this song right before this upload 🥰
The bottom right looks like the first of the four shown, possibly the first of all six.
The performances are much more fleshed out and consistent between the other three takes, but most notably in Jack's section.
2:08 Coupon mime hasn't been added yet.
2:16 Jack isn't sure where he wants to twerk. (Apart from the DMV)
2:24 Air grab hasn't been added yet.
But most convincing is:
0:28 The light coming through the window gets longer with each take. It's even longer in the final version, which was the last take.
This also reveals the top left as the last take of the four shown.
As an old geezer, the most impressive thing for me about this video is Al not spraining his shoulder dancing like that at the beginning.
Thank you, Al - love your work, love that you gift your fans!
I bet that 2:18 will be the most replayed
Got to play with Al in 2019! Super fun show and the audience was awesome!!
The neon yellow and black houndstooth pattern pants and pink spray painted Tacky shirt is my favorite outfit 🙌
we needed thif
thank you
Holy accordion, Al-Man!
I love seeing the multiple takes, great stuff as usual!
Interesting too see what they have to work with and what they choose to use.
This man has been droppin bangers my entire life. The first CD I ever got was Alapalooza through BMG music getting 12 CDs for 1c and since then Ive listened to everything hes ever released.
Makes me so happy to not only see a new video but see 4 MUSIC VIDEOS ALL AT ONCE. HOW TACKY@!%*$(*!&
Interesting to see him dropping all these behind the scenes after so long
We don't deserve Weird Al... my childhood was spent laughing and enjoying these great parodies. I had no idea in my adulthood I would be doing the same thing.
1st one is the one that was used in the video but also jack looks super joung and good job al still an amazing song
it is not
Perfect! Glad to see you back in the music business!
