They have the right balance of warmth and brightness to my ears.The ebony board certainly enhances the high end, so stainless would be too bright and clangy for me. Hope this answers the question. Thanks so much. I use the Pigtronix Infinity Looper and I'm now mainly using the Avalanche Run for my reverb and delay needs these days.
