Don brothers to me came in a darker chapter of my life. I was making a lot of money due to a job but I was super unhappy. And some recent news is not the best for me but thinking of Don brothers makes me smile and Momotaros laugh and smile and always wanting everyone to be happy and to help. Man it makes me smile.
So, Taro and Sonoi are basically like Optimus prime and Megatron, in that they agree with each other on their ideals, but how they get there is different between the two.
At first I didn't liked the season because nobody behaved like a normal functioning human being (especially Momoi Taro). Until I started to appretiate it even more and enjoy the chaotic nature as well as the actual messages they want to give and it's now one of my favorite Sentai seasons
I recommended this season to my female co worker who loves k/j-drama but never touched tokusatsu at all. She was irked by how random Donbrothers is, but cried during the finale lmao.
Dawm, I litterely had tears in my eyes at the part were Taro remembers his role call from harukas Manga. DonBrothers was so weird. But also really dramatic when ist was needed.
I never really liked how Tsubasa’s use of points to bring Sononi back to life ended up putting him back on the run from the law… because we see that his points are still technically in the positive… by a hair. He should’ve been fine… but I guess the game will game-logic
I think a lot about this show’s perspective on life like. I don’t think it overly explains a lot in a way that’s saying “it’s none of your business” and that’s just how life is sometimes, we aren’t privy to every little piece of info. This also goes with the way it mixes drama and absurdity because both of those things coexist within our lives daily and often come one after the other.
This season is special to me because it was my first time watching a full season of sentai as it was airing, and even though ik it's not perfect, its a festival to me
I think what truly makes Donbrothers special was that it was a subverted celebration of Sentai tropes. It's similar to Zenkaiger, fitting because it is a continuation. Whilst Zenkaiger feels like a celebration to the elements of the franchise, this seasons brings out the best on the most common tropes found in Sentai, and uses it's zany setting to create a series that, honestly, we might never see again.
I enjoyed this season mainly due to Inoue's involvement in Sentai season after a long time. Also he is special for his season not getting adapted in Power Rangers.

He was made by the Nouto based on the Don Clan to eradicate the Juuto, he's the only thing in the show capable of destroying a Juuto,he has Mother as his second personality,which is shown to be a trait of all Don Clan blood,Jiro and Savage Jiro and Momoi when he's Don Momotaro as opposed to untransformed Momoi. Yea the shit with him from the future is hella not explained but from what happens with Jiro becoming whole it's safe to assume that happened to Don Murasame and Mother at some point. I'm not starting an argument,I just wanna know what people mean by Don Murasame specifically not being explained

First Off When I Saw Donbrothers I Know They're The Heroes And I Was Waiting For Main Villan To Show Up They Never Did. I Know Some People Loved This Sentai And The Other Half Didn't And I'm Part Of That Group To Me This Didn't Make Sense King-ohger And Zenkaiger Made Sense Though.
On the one hand: It’s a show that’s just meant to be nice entertainment to unwind with. On the other hand: Some core fundamentals of the story (How and why is this connected to Zenkaiger other than the toy designers were lazy and didn’t want to think up a new gimmick toy? Why even is Murasame?) go completely unexplained, and the entire summary makes me feel like the story is disjointed and self-confused; sometimes wanting to be dramatic and intriguing, sometimes wanting to be a balls to the wall comedy. The suits didn’t interest me, and the sounds the toys made _definitely_ didn’t interest me, so I feel like I’m not missing out on anything by not watching it.
I mean and spoilers for what I'm about to say so if you haven't watched Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger then stop reading this now... Kaito did fight god to a stalemate making them say "Are we just going to fighting in your mind for eternity?" then beats them in a game of rock paper scissors freeing the other worlds that got stored away I don't know the about the other sentai teams and them fighting god but I mean if that's what makes you a hero then I don't know what does.

What made me into this show is the love triangle between Inuzaka, Natsumi/Miho, and Kijino which is Inoue's classic writing.
My instincts were right in the first few episodes, this show is amazing
