  • Hey Guys,
    I wanted to unbox and review the Levoit Core 400S Air Purifier with you. Like the Coway AP1512, Winix 5500, Medicfy Ma-40, Alen Flex, the Levoit is a updated model that has quickly has to be one of the best new air purifiers and my favorite new small room air purifier. I plan on using the Levoit Core 400S in my living room. Some highlights of the advantages of the Levoit Core 200S are premium build quality, quietness, night light, updated control module, and the smart wifi app integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
    Feel free to hit the like button and subscribe. Thank you for all the love! Let me know your thoughts and comments.

    *Absolutely love this thing. **Fastly.Cool** and air purifier perfectly this machine We set it up in the low air circulation basement where the dogs hang out (man cave too) and it made a HUGE difference in air quality.*

    Thanks for the review! I got one today. I am wondering if this air purifier would be sufficient for a 60 sq.m. apartment, considering some doors are closed from time to time.

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI! Its about 650 sq feet so should work. In my experience, the best air quality will be directly in the room the air purifier is located. The further you get away and add walls/doors, it becomes harder to cycle air throughout the apt. Years ago, I had a winix 5200 (360sq ft coverage) in a living room/dining room/kitchen area in my old NYC 800 sq ft apt and it worked out great for me. The room it was in was about 480 sq ft and removed odors fast. The Levoit should work better because its bigger and when its bigger, you can also run it quieter at a lower setting or for the 400S on auto, 24-7, 365 days like i do using the app.

    thanks for the video, purchased one a few days ago started it up today, my indoor pm2.5 display is fluctuating between 1 and 4, is that normal for most homes, seems low? my air is that good?? lol.

      Hi! maybe try cleaning the airsight sensor to see if that helps. If its really between 1 to 4, that's much better than my air.

    4:48 "more expensive sounding" ???? 🤣 That made me lol. Expensive doesn't automatically mean something is better quality. Price is often just made up. But good design is simply good design, whatever the price point. These are fairly affordable at under $300. If you want truly expensive air filtration, you have it built into your HVAC. Actually, it's probably already a part of your central air system. Adding these plug in air filters helps so much with airborne dust. It's like a Roomba vacuum for your air. 😃 Nice review! 💜

    Thank you for great review. Question - any idea or estimates for how long filter will do its work and need to be replaced? Let us say roughly by moderate use - more than a year or less?

    • @9sheri9
      @9sheri9 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I currently own the core 400s and LOVE it. I just checked the manual & the manufacturer instructions say to replace the filter every 12 months, and to routine clean the filter about every 3 to 4 weeks.
      I bought mine from Amazon in July 2021. I literally unboxed, unwrapped & inserted the filter, plugged in, set it to "auto" & it's been running non-stop ever since then. The change filter indicator came on yesterday and I ordered my replacement filter (cost was around US $50). I honestly forgot to clean the filter this entire time and it took 7 months for the unit to tell me to replace it. I could easily see getting much more life out of it with routine care. I'd imagine that connecting it to WiFi would help one to remember but I just get annoyed with everything wanting to connect to my phone, so I don't. 😂✌️💕

  • @qwertyazerty2137

    So I just got mine. First impressions - bad. I had sprayed a parfume right at the air sensor. For some reason the PM indicator increased a bit but in auto mode it did not turned up the fan speed. Next, I put a smoking piece of paper next to it. The PM jumped at once to maximum but in auto mode, it did not turned up the fan speed to maximum, I had to manually select the 4th speed. I suspect that these air sensors are indeed of poor accuracy and one should not use auto mode but select one constant fan speed at all times. What is also inaccurate is the PM 2.5 level of 50 at which the device turns on the speed if in auto mode. The general standard is
