Now I am not sure why Levoit doesn't hire you but this is a very professional review I ever saw as I have to get one as I developed Asthma back in 2020 and with all these wild fires going on in Canada I never knew how uncomfortable I am to them thanks for the excellent review.

If you’ve never used an air filter these are great. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx_dppjvjF8BYEmPSDTcgCUdRsgWYLXNHN I ended up with three after starting out with one. The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!
you better check the filter on a more regular basis that 6 to 8 months depending on your home, also the filters are cleanable. vacuum them from the outside of the filter, don.t do it from the inside because you will pull the dirt and dust further into the filter, we have two sets here and this method works fine, I have been using Hepa filters in my business for 20+ years and find them very good but due to the high rate of entrapment of dust and particals they clog faster, but this is how they are so efficient.

This is my first air purifier and I LOVE it but I really wish it did have an air quality sensor. What would you recommend for something very similar (recommended room size, noise, etc) but with the sensor feature added, either of this brand or another brand?

The filter doesn’t last anywhere near 6-8 months. The app will say replace filter after about 4 months, even if you always run it on low. I have this exact model.
Depends on where you live and how much air pollution is around bro. 4 months filter change is normal for a place with a higher PM2.5 level in the air.
That’s an average doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee also, it depends on your household if you got a lot of pollutants or a lot of dust, dirt pet hair, etc. it’s going to get dirty quicker just like for example my sister’s house first as we have a housekeeper that gusts twice a week and our filters last almost 10 months

Hi, i have a question about the filtration system: do you think it's better to have Pre Filter-->HEPA-->Carbon or it's better to have Pre Filter-->Carbon-->HEPA ?

I just got this model as a gift. I’ve needed an air purifier for a long time now because my room is really dusty and I have a dust allergy. I tried this and it seems to be working but not exactly sure how effective. Is it a bad idea to leave it running all the time?

Unfortunately it doesn't. The only Levoit air purifiers that have this feature are the Core Mini and LV-H128.
I want to get this one because the specs are better than some Air purifiers charging $300+.

@@AirPurifierFirst there's Allen air purifiers, one goes for $300, doesn't work for viruses, theres a shark one I looked at for over $200, doesn't capture mold or viruses.

Am I seeing the test result wrong? 1st test on 120sqft room but it wrote 194sqft. 2nd test on 194sqft room but it wrote 320sqft.
Occasionally a mistake happens. It's like that when you do 90% of the work yourself.

I'm really struggling to decide between this and the Levoit Core mini. The Core mini's max coverage just fits the biggest room i would use it it, but I'm not sure if this means I would have to run it on max for it to work in that situation. I really like it's power consumption levels, but the filter difference also has me worried. I don't appreciate Levoit calling it a HEPA filter when it doesn't meet the government standards. At half the price though, it's a though decision. I could basically buy two if I wanted to cover more rooms at once.
I have completed all the tests on the Levoit Core Mini and will publish its review on Friday! Levoit Core 200S has a higher quality HEPA filter, which is also bigger. It also has many more features than the Core Mini, so I suggest buying the Core 200S instead the Mini.
True HEPA on the Core 200S traps 99.97% of airborne particles up to 0.3 microns in size, while the HEPA filter on Core Mini traps 97% of airborne particles up to 0.3 microns in size.

I actually just purchased the mini today, I got a really good deal that was 25% off. The 200s is 2.4x the price, so I figured if the mini is not good enough I will either return it or relegate it to the smallest room and buy something better that's recommended on your channel.
Amazon sells off brand HEPA filters for the mini that's better than the original. I'm not sure if it's real HEPA tho.
