Yeah I agree but the show's point was to make Bucky accept his past as The Winter Soldier and make Sam accept his new title of Captain America

@Salty Pineapple zemo was always like this, his only purpose in life is to destroy super soldiers, be any means necessary including siding with the "enemy"
@Salty Pineapple he elaborates that the supersoldier promotes supremacy ideas and corrupts a person, the only one which didnt get affected is cap, the only exception
and super soldiers are not only the ones with super serum, but just people with superpower in general who has absolute power and authority over other people, which is why he caused civil war instead of assassinating super soldiers to prevent super soldiers to ever exist

Whoa there horsey, I know the show wanted to make John Walker the "Bad Captain America" but he was totally within his rights, tactically and ethically to kill the Flag Smasher. He had been part of a group that had just killed his partner, while both of them are acting as law enforcement, presumably as offical agents if the US government, they were properly deputised to be ding what they were doing in that country, so that makes him an accessory to murder, or at least manslaughter.
Second as walker was chasing him, the flag smasher threw a concrete planter at him, not knowing he was enhanced, which means that he did it thinking it would kill him. Walker was fully ustified in using lethal force to protect himself. The Flag Smasher only surrendered the moment he was beaten and there was no reason to think he wasn't going to try and kill Walker if he let his guard down.
now, i won't have to watch the whole series. huhuhu I miss the OGs
